The free one is just a simple visual check. The paid one is just for them to look deeper. I said I just want the free brake check since the car passed inspection 2 weeks ago. After he looked at my brakes, he said everything was ok. He simply explained the health of the brakes to me once. I asked him if he could repeat one more time so I can write down the details. He refuses and said, "I only said it once". I was shocked for his attitude. I really don't like this type of customer service. He is just too lazy to do anything.
