I had an outstanding experience today at Eco Muffler. I had previously been quoted over $1,000 elsewhere to replace an exhaust assembly after road debris punctured my vehicle's muffler. Jason immediately took the time to inspect the damage and determined it could be repaired instead of replaced, which saved me the cost of a full exhaust replacement. He was incredibly kind and knowledgeable, and I'll definitely be back if I ever need exhaust work again. Highly recommend! read more

I can't say enough good things about Eco Muffler in Quincy. The staff is incredibly thorough and truly excellent at diagnosing issues--especially when it comes to exhaust systems. They take the time to explain what's going on, and their pricing is always more than fair. Chris, in particular, is extremely helpful and goes above and beyond to make sure you understand your options. It's rare to find a place that's this honest, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. I highly recommend them to anyone on the South Shore who needs exhaust work . Outstanding service all around! read more

The best place to go for any muffler/tailpipe issue. Fast friendly service. I highly recommend.

not good didn't want my business very rude needed a muffler and pipes. wanted 500 bucks for a 150 dollar muffler. cheap thin pipes and pay their employees crap. that's a 30 dollar an hour job. They pay shit ad Treated me like crap. You don't save anything,! Good thing short wait times. Owner lives in a mansion !,, Don't get tricked!,,Desk guy very polite They should help someone in a tough spot! Not this time. Did business there before. No problems. They should have said. "short wait we will take care of you" ya right up my bum! read more

Got referred here from my regular mechanic, my car had exhaust leak. Instead of replacing the whole exhaust system, they somehow were able to just replace the leaky section, saving me quite a bit of money. Plus they took my car immediately, with no appointment necessary, explained exactly the problem and what they could do and how much it would cost. SO EASY and FAST I almost couldn't believe it. Excellent experience all around, from reception to checkout. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Five Hearts! read more

Was there again. Have a 2010 f150 and the pipes were needing replacement. They replaced a few pipes and the muffle, a few hangers. no more leaks. The price was around 650 which I thought was a bit high but I went and had the works done. They saved the converters from replacement. I could have purchase the entire system all new for 650 aftermarket with the converters and replace it all myself. I am leary of aftermarket converters so, The end result is probably the same. All this being said i am again satisfied. I am a do-it-yourself type. However I am happy now. Thanks for a nice job ECO! read more

This is the place to go if you need work done. You can't beat the quality and value. Chris at the front is so knowledgeable and kind. The guys in the back were also friendly and hustled to get me in and out. I got quoted $2100 at one place and took it here and they charged me $350! Thanks guys! read more

These guys were amazing, fast, and efficient. These guys don't bs you. Came in with my mom's car sounding like a motorcycle at 9 am. Had about 5 people in front of me and they lifted my car up within 10 minutes and showed me what wrong underneath and told me 350 out the door to get it fixed. Told me a hour to be finished and I went for a 30 minute walk and my car was already done and sounding normal again. The other 5 people were finished too and had left already probably as happy as I did. Other place I went to for same thing charged me 750$. Wished I knew about this place sooner. read more

My Toyota Rav4 started making a loud noise while I was driving, so I googled the best place for muffler repair in Quincy. Echo Muffler Center came up at the top, based on good reviews, so I drove to their shop. Chris and Jason are the best--they lifted my car and showed me where the rusted muffler had broken in half. They gave me a few options, explaining the pros and cons to help save me some money. The work was done in a timely manner, and the quality of the job performed by Jason was superb. Since they specialize only in mufflers, I believe they are the best in town. I strongly recommend them to my friends and anyone else! Thank you Chris and Jason. You are the best. The Toyota dealer recommended a replacement of the entire exhaust system and estimated the cost as around $2000. Eco Muffler repaired what needed fixed and it cost $400. They were professional and took pride in their work and I was out of there in a little over an hour. I also like their system of appointments - no appointment needed, first come first served. Highly recommend Eco Muffler Center. read more

This place is great. My car is about 15 years old and it's sounding better than it has in a long time after a trip here. The price was reasonable and they had friendly staff. read more

My cars exhaust was rattling and making a loud noise. I had some basic services done at the dealer (oil change, filter, etc) and they told me I had a front exhaust leak that was going to cost about $1200. A friend of mine recommended Eco Muffler in Quincy, so I visited them to get the exhaust checked. After I went in and told them my situation, within 15 mins they confirmed that it was it was not a leak and that I just needed to replace my two mufflers. I had the parts already since I was going to have my personal mechanic do the job, but I ended up getting a second opinion from Eco. Long story short, I am glad I got a second opinion from Eco and chose them to do the job. The team there is honest, quick and straight to the point with what needs to be done. They even take time to show you what they are repairing. They did the whole job in 30 minutes. The team there is friendly and great! read more

So I upgraded my car. Got a nice 3000 bucks exhaust. Went on a trip, hit a pothole andddd it shag. Brought it to the pro and within 20 mins I was out the door. Free. Fix other exhaust leak I have as well. Good jobs, guys! read more

After failing inspection for exhaust issues, I was looking for an honest service facility that would correct my problem and charge a fair price. Although the positive reviews seemed too good to be true, I drove down from Boston and can tell you they more than lived up to their 5 star rating. They showed me what needed to be fixed now and what could become a problem in a year or two. No upsell. I saw them treat 5 other customers the same way and correct one customer's minor issue at no charge. In this time of national chains trying to squeeze as much profit out of you as possible, this family run business is a throwback to old school integrity. read more

First come first serve. They're quote was a third of the dealer quote. This is the place to go to for your exhaust service.

Muffler fell off my car. Auto shop quoted me $1300. Eco muffler found parts, showed me another issue, and fixed them both for less than $500. Quick, efficient, friendly, no nonsense, saved me nearly a thousand dollars. read more

I've had to deal with lots of shops when it comes to automotive repair. My experience at Eco Muffler ranks near the top. Chris and the gang here meet all the marks of the 3 P's: Professionalism, proficiency and politeness. I brought my vehicle according to schedule and they put it on the lift immediately to assess the work needed. They consulted me before starting any actual work, unlike some shops that do the work without getting an owner's okay. The work was completed in short order and came out great. The pieces I supplied didnt piece together perfectly, but Eco made it work wonderfully. Lastly, the crew here was pleasant to deal with - no crankosauruses who roll their eyes when you pull up like I've encountered at other places. Next time I need exhaust work, I'll be coming here again. read more

They get you in show you the problem and get you out all for a reasonable price. They are a great group of guys, I highly recommend them.

Eco Muffler was recommended by my mechanic. I went in after getting a quote from Meineke on Southern Artery who said that my car needed a new exhaust, muffler, and catalytic convert - a $1700 fix. I wanted a second opinion and I'm so glad I did. Eco Muffler took a look and made a simple fix for $175! The owners were very friendly and I dealt with them entirely over the phone which made things much easier for me. read more

WOW, I can't say enough about my experience at ECO Muffler! Very honest, friendly, & fast service! At 2pm, I walked in to get an estimate for my 87 Buick. Since my car was sounding like an old hot rod, I was expecting to need a whole new exhaust system. I was also expecting that the parts I needed would have to be custom built, because most parts for my car are now discontinued.. Turned out I didn't even need a muffler. All I needed was the pipe that runs the length of the car just before the muffler. One of the guys at ECO said he could have the part delivered in an hour, and that they could do the job in less than an hour for half the money I was expecting to pay. So, at 4pm I came back, and at 4:40 I left with a very quiet car! These guys rock! Now, I won't go anywhere else! read more

Just going say it Eco is great, Opens at 9:00 got there few minutes before. There was line of some people dropping and picking up yet they got to me in few minutes. I was going leave it and pickup but they were able to look at my car and repair it as I waited for my ride about 1 hr total time there.. Price was great for a repair. Extremely friendly and respectful of my time. I understand why they get 4 stars!! read more

I came in with a detached muffler and needed an inspection sticker that day. The inspection station quoted me $800-$1000 but ECO fixed my exhaust both sides for $140. Good honest people and did the job in 1/2 hour. I highly recommend ECO muffler. They took my car within 5 minutes of me arriving. Also they all wore masks due to Covid and everything was sanitary. -Jay read more

The go to place for exhaust work!! This place rocks and all the garages send their customers here. Polite l service to boot. Most folks can wait while they do the work!!! read more

I was sent by Firestone of Quincy to get a piece of my muffler welded, and they send a lot of customers to Eco--with good reason! I expected to drop my car off and pick it up the next day, but I got a call from Chris to say they just had to cut off the rusted flange (?), fabricate a new one, and weld it. Everything else looked good, so they only needed half an hour and $95 for the job (as opposed to almost $1000 for a new muffler). So professional, friendly, trustworthy, and although I hope to not need to go back any time soon, I'd choose this place first for my muffler needs! I'm happy to recommend this place to family and friends (even strangers)! I see my experience is consistent with other reviews, so yay! Bravo, another happy customer :-D read more

First time using them. I called for a quote thinking I needed a muffler they actually advised it probably was just some clips and fixing a connection. Other places were quoting me over $500 and couldn't take the vehicle for over a week. Eco took it the next day and was exactly right on the problem fixed in a couple hours for about $100. Will definitely use again!! Thank you! read more

The highest of five stars go to Eco! Always hard to find a respectful and stand up business, especially in the auto industry. Eco is the definition of stand up and honest. They will freely take you into the garage and point out what is wrong with your exhaust system and the best way to rectify. The best part of that rectify is not a complete replacement of a whole system, which with older cars I have done multiple times. Eco will find a reasonable solution. If you have any muffler issue, please I beg you to go to Eco read more

These guys are friendly, quick and I think the prices they charge are reasonable. A mechanic quoted $1200 to replace some parts and what not. Instead, I brought to Eco and they charged me less than $200 to weld a couple parts on the muffler pipe under the car (sorry, I have no idea what it's called). But the owner or manager showed me after they took a look under the bay. I saw rusty parts and my muffler was loud, like a lawn mower. So after 30 mins my old Camry was running like its normal quieter self. Also, t hey do not take reservations. It's first come first serve. read more

Believe the Reviews!!! This place is amazing! They did an outstanding job on my car. My car was getting real loud and I knew it was my resonator I brought it in to them. They could have easily lied and said I needed a whole new exhaust system but they told the truth!!! I was there for maybe 25 minutes!! I walked in to see Jason and Chris. And let me also say I came in about 40 minutes before closing time and that is a pain in the ass !!! Jason hopped right on my car and did it correctly right in front of me !
