Hassan and Mario are my main men of auto repairs. I stopped by as I had a headlight that was out and couldn't be replaced at the quick oil change shop due to an ex-boyfriend "upgrading" my lights to LEDs (a long and sad story there!) Hassan took terrific care of me - identified the problem and had me stop by the next morning. In and out in under an hour, fee was reasonable and Hassan called me afterwards to thank me and let me know that he and Mario are always a phone call away if and when I need them. I consider myself lucky to have driven in to Squantum Auto repair yesterday. Thanks! read more

From the moment I walked in, I was treated with such kindness and genuine care. The team was incredibly helpful, walked me through everything, and made the whole process completely stress-free. The work was done well and in a timely manner. On top of that, the price was more than fair, which is always appreciated. I have been here a few times and this is always my experience. It's rare to find such great service, quality work, and reasonable pricing all in one place. This is the kind of place you recommend to everyone you know. Can't thank them enough! Special thanks to Mario and Hassan!! read more

I came here for a new inspection sticker, which I have done several times. I was dumbfounded when they issued me an inspection sticker that was for January 2026 instead of a full year July 2026. I came back in to argue with them about it, and they showed me that I had not been here last year and that my previous inspection sticker had been expired for a year. I checked my transactions and did not find a payment to them last year as well. They were very understanding of my frustration and they were very accommodating. I appreciate their patience that they showed with me and I left a satisfied customer. Thank you guys. read more

These guys are great! I've been coming here for a few years and find them to be very fair and honest. Dropped my car off yesterday for front and rear brakes and Mario was kind enough to drive me back home and pick me back up once my car was ready!! They are always very friendly and explain any issues very clearly! I highly recommend Quantum Auto!! read more

Hassan and Mario took care of me. They were both very professional. Hassan was patient and helped me figure out/confirm what was wrong with my car. I left the car with him for the day. He encountered some hiccups ordering the part needed but kept me updated every step of the way. The work itself was done in a timely manner. It was priced reasonably. The best part was that the issue was fixed (Unlike the experience I had prior to this with a big name repair shop in the area). I would recommend Hassan and his crew at Squantum Auto Repair to anyone I know for anything and everything related to the health of a car. The feeling of driving a safe car is huge. The feeling you didn't get ripped off is even bigger. I can only give 5 starts to this crew. I would give way more if I could! Thank you Hassan for your dedication, patience, and kindness. I will always go to Squantum Auto Repair for my car needs from now on. read more

I was referred to have my Emergency brake tightened. I walked in commented on how nice it smelled no reply. He asked what I needed. I asked about having my e brake tightened. Side-note: I didn't say now or this week I'm just asking because I don't know how this place works. The guy at the front desk proceeds to tell me he has 15 cars ahead of me......And I need to drop off my car I ask him if I can make an appt..... he says sure I paused and told him I'll hold off for now with a smile. Why would I drop off my car to this place when this guy is being cold and not listening to what I am actually saying I understand your busy but really..... my money can go somewhere else. read more

My car was having break issues, I dropped it off at 8am and they had it ready for me by before noon. Mario was a big help. He understood the issue right away and explained to me exactly what needed to be done. Pleasant experience overall and will return for anything that comes up in the future. Thanks Mario! read more

I think most of us here browsing yelp is to look for a reliable, honest and genuine autoshop who can take care of our car and charge at a decent fare. If you are one of them, then I'd highly recommend squantum Yes yes, you still have doubts whether or not the owner is a conman because there's a review with 1 star that his spark plug was put upside down. The dude probably just had a bad day or something, and the owner is not always the mechanics working on the car. It could have been a mistake from probably tiring out on the job for the day. But thats for you to judge. As for me, the owner Hassan is a truely amazing, funny and honest guy. Its very rare these days to find ppl like him in a This very shady autoshop industry read more

My brakes started making terrible noises that were rapidly getting worse and I called the nearest auto shop in a bit of a panic. The nicest gentleman answered the phone, offered to take a look at my brakes for free, and told me I could come in that afternoon. I brought my car in at 3pm and he showed me exactly what was wrong in minutes. By 4pm, my car was fixed and for hundreds cheaper than the dealership would have charged. Everyone was so kind, efficient, and helpful and I will absolutely be returning for any other maintenance my car might need. Strongly recommend! read more

When I broke down at TD Bank which is right next to them... My serpentine belt came off! As he just pulled out a vehicle and he could have just walked over about 40 ft and put my serpentine belt on you just said no I can't help you! He's part of the problem, Not the solution. read more

Amazing service! I went in to replace my side view mirror and fix a flat tire & right off the bat, the entire staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. They also took me to the garage to take a look at a few things that needed repairs and gave me options before actually doing anything to my car. Pricing was fair and honest, and service was quick. Highly recommend this place! read more

My dad goes there all the time for his auto repairs. When summer slips away from you and you forget you have to do adulty stuff like get an inspection sticker I highly suggest this place. I am new to Quincy and came here for a car inspection during the COVID-19 pandemic. The owner was the sole person working the shop and was extremely considerate and attentive from the moment I arrived. The lobby was locked to the public and he met me outside at my appointment time and walked me inside to a very clean waiting area which I had to myself while he did the inspection. I will be back for future services... a very welcoming shop with a great owner! read more

Squantum Auto Repair - Auto Repair Near Me - Quincy, Massachusetts

These guys do a great job at an honest price. No overselling. Convenient location. Friendly mechanics. Best in Quincy.

I called in on a Saturday morning and got my brakes done and my car inspected within an hour, same day, without an appt, at the best price I could find around town. Excellent service, lovely staff, would highly recommend! read more

We were referred by a friend and have received wonderful customer service, an honest appraisal of any work needed, and very reasonable prices. We've also been told when there is a simpler fix, or no repair needed. We are always greeted warmly, and I feel comfortable asking questions and know that I will get answers that don't make me feel like I'm "just a woman" (like some shops do). My husband has referred quite a few friends and relatives, too. We have stopped taking our cars to the Toyota dealer and wouldn't dream of taking our cars anywhere else. read more

I met Hassan on a cold and rainy day in January after I realized my inspection sticker was expired. That's important to note because, while they're listed on the state's website, they do not come up on the map if you search for locations by zip code, which I feel is kind of unfair considering the great location. I really just wanted a place nearby, thankfully I had seen his signage for the state inspection service. I was in and out in fifteen minutes. Hassan was upbeat the whole time despite the weather and how early it was. Most of the time, you can read people and I've got to say, Hassan came off as completely real and honest. His shop is easily the cleanest and nicest repair shop I've been in. Because I felt comfortable with him immediately I asked him about some prices on some repairs I had gotten previously at another shop, and whether I had gotten a fair deal. While he did not comment on the other guy's prices, he was totally straightforward with his prices, which were better than some of the best I had found. It can be a rare thing to meet a mechanic with integrity, but sometimes you get really lucky. It's obvious when someone loves what they do and they appreciate their customers. I'll definitely be back. read more

The owner is incredibly helpful and very VERY trustworthy. Helped me out with a much cheaper quote than most auto repair places for some major repairs on my car. The work was done right and quickly. Great customer service, great location, and a good experience. read more

My family has been going to Squantum Auto for many years. I have never met anyone who has had any complaints. I have referred several friends and family who rave about Hassan. I am shocked at Joseph B. who sounds like he has a problem with anger, as he demonstrated in his review. He is the ONLY one who has given a poor review. It will be very difficult to find any one else who will. The five star reviews are most sincere, as is Hassan who is the most honest mechanic I have ever done business with. Please don't base your decision on one less than stellar review. Join the rest of us who can say nothing but great things about Squantum Auto. read more

Trustworthy and honest. I have taken my car here many times, including to have something looked at and nothing needed repairs and there was no charge. In my opinion he could use more help in the shop/register because he is always swamped, but that also means he is well liked by the community! read more

Well deserved 5 stars Great service and very professional guys. I would recommend it to everyone. read more

I was having some starting issues so I decided to take my car somewhere close by to have it checked out (I work in Braintree) before I ended up stranded somewhere - figuring it was probably just a dead battery. I brought it to Sullivan Tire in Braintree and just as I thought, the battery needed to be replaced, but surprise, they told me my rear shocks were both completely shot and needed to be replaced to the tune of another $500 (according to them "there's fluid everywhere"). I told them I wanted to just do the battery, pick up the car and get a second opinion somewhere else on the shocks (suspiciously, to this he stated he "wouldn't recommend driving it"). I hadn't had any problems whatsoever nor did I ask them to look at anything other than the starting issue, so I picked it up and brought it to Squantum Auto Repair to have it looked at. Big surprise - absolutely nothing wrong with any of my shocks - and Squantum treated me like family and REFUSED TO TAKE ANY OF MY MONEY for looking at the car. They definitely won over a return customer and Sullivan lost one for life. read more

Man, this place is great! It popped up as the first place for auto repairs when I did a search. The owner gave a discount, and he was super friendly!!! Cheap and reliable service right here! Definitely, my go to while in live here. read more

Honest and trustworthy mechanic, They do what they say they will do in the time and for the price that was promised.

The owner is a Conman,he takes advantage of unsuspecing people. He tried to rip me off years ago,but I was able to prove that his shop put spark plugs in the wrong way(upside down)causing engine failure.I tried to get air in his shop for a flat tire and he insisted he had no air and I had to pay get it repaired ( I just needed air to get to the dealership)! He lies and takes advantage of the community. read more

Squantum Auto Repair is absolutely fantastic! Hassan truly cares about his business and values his work and clients. I have a 97 Acura Integra that had a cracked radiator after a fender bender. They scheduled me immediately for the work, had extremely fair pricing (offered me a quote and stuck to it!!! No up charges or surprises), were up front about what needed repair and when the car would be ready, offered to drive me somewhere locally, addressed any questions/concerns openly...I could go on and on. They not only fixed my radiator as discussed but they adjusted my skewed headlight and buffed out the scratches on my bumper. I was so impressed with their extra attention. I offered to pay more and they refused and simply requested that I return to them for business. Hassan is great and he employs people that reflect this same care! I look forward to keeping them as my car guys! Thank you so very much Squantum Auto Repair!!!! -Katie read more

Amazing customer service and great prices, this place is hard to beat. Only down fall is that no one answers the phone but I wouldn't remove a star for that. I love both of them and will return. Highly recommend! read more

Finding a place for basic vehicle services is not just about convenience, as if everyone offers the same services for roughly the same price so it doesn't matter who you go to. Building a relationship with mechanics themselves is important. Trustworthiness, reliability, consistency, friendliness, professionalism; these aren't words that one uses to describe a "place", but to describe a person, or persons in a place. These are the words I would use to describe Hassan. From the first time I received his services, I have experienced these qualities, and so I will continue to return for all my vehicle needs. He is a priceless asset to this community. Thanks Hassan! read more
