Sure, I could go out and buy a new car with that feature, but who wants to deal with car payments? A much more cost-effective solution was to install a backup camera and a video monitor. I researched what the big-box stores had to offer, but I wasn't impressed with their wireless or license plate-mounted options. (Quick tip: Some plate-mounted cameras can obstruct part of your license plate, like the state name or motto, which could technically get you pulled over for plate obstruction!) I wanted something that looked factory-installed, not like an aftermarket add-on, and Pro Car Sound and Security in Malden delivered exactly that. I stopped by after work on a Friday, and the place was buzzing like a club--people were coming and going non-stop. Clearly, this is the spot in Malden. As soon as I walked in, they took care of me immediately. The staff was super friendly and kept offering snacks and drinks from their well-stocked snack station. The bathroom was spotless, and there was plenty of seating. Plus, their shop had all kinds of cool gadgets to check out while I waited. If my wife decides to get a backup camera installed, we'll definitely be coming back here.
