The shop you have been going to for 15 years don't have the time to help you or are too faraway. My car had been totaled. And it was faraway from home in Salem, MA. It had very expensive speakers and amplifier which I had to remove before it was sent to salvage. I called everyone I knew. I was desperate to get my stuff off the car. I talked to some people I could barely understand. I called a shop where some weird music was being played as their ring tone. Auto Sound saved my life! I had given up on good customer support in this world. Whether you pay $1k per month or $70k per month I have seen some bad customer support. I can tell you these guys rank high up there with the best of the best. I can give you names of some big corporate businesses where no matter how much money you throw at them you get bad support. This is how customer support should look like and I can tell you there were the best people I have ever talked to about anything, anywhere. There was some real empathy for my situation. They went above and beyond. Well beyond above and beyond. If I am spending $100 on anything, after this experience I would like it to go to these folks. At the end of the day, it does not matter what they are selling and which brands they deal with. These people will look after you with the kind of empathy you probably only see from close family. Don't take your money elsewhere. If you have anything to do with anything in cars, you won't get better looked after anywhere else. I have a weekly review with a company, my company pays big bucks to deal with. I am adding this place to the list of best customer support from any vendor I have seen - in the big leagues. Sometimes people forget what real customer service looks like, and it always helps to provide some concrete examples. Auto Sound is one of them.

Mike and his team do THE best work at reasonable prices. The quality is worth every penny. They were highly responsive and communicative, and were able to get me in the shop fairly quickly. They offer a variety of remote car starters based on your needs and budget, and they take the time to talk you through the options they offer, ask questions about your needs and wants to help them understand what to recommend, and answer any remaining questions you have. I waited to see anyone for about 5 minutes, before I went in to the office and no one was there. I saw in the garage that it was empty. I returned to my car to look for an available appointment online, since it is such a tiny crack, it should be a quick fix, right? A tall man came out and asked what I needed, I said I was looking for an appointment for a tiny crack to be fixed. He said they didn't have any appointments available (even though they closed 40 minutes later), and didn't ask to see what it looked like. Just "too busy," with their empty garage. I think they just wanted to leave early. I don't recommend this location. I had much better luck & customer service in Beverly, and it only took 10 minutes to fix. Also, I called Safelite 4 times before being able to be connected to a centralized call center person, who then tried to connect me to this location 3 times herself. They have no receptionists at any locations, and Safelite should make it possible to contact local locations through one of their phone options.
