Fellow motorists beware! I am a 46 year old female who has a career in a major hospital in Greater Boston as a health care worker(so you know your audience), and use my brand new black 2020 WRX to drive to and from work 5 days per week. I have also left a google review- the photos are there if you wish to look!
I scheduled a window tinting in advance for Memorial Day (Monday May 31st @ 11 AM). I dropped my car off and just as expected, Supreme Motorsports called me back a couple of hours later to let me know it was complete. When I picked it up, I saw they did a nice job tinting my windows. (I was only looking at my windows, not the rear part of my armrest.) I took a long weekend from work through Tuesday. That Wednesday June 2nd I returned to work. That is when I discovered the top of my armrest was gouged/punctured. I took photos of my discovery on Wednesday (that are time date stamped) and couldn't call until Thursday because of how busy my work schedule is. I called that Thursday to try to get some sort of resolve. I bought (yes, out of my pocket) a piece of alcantara for approximately 40 dollars. I was finally able to get the car back to be looked at Saturday 5th. When I arrived, one of the staff there brought the tech to the car and showed him the gouges in front of me to see if he would admit to it. Of course he denied it.... I was standing right there!!! Because three days had passed, Emmanuel questioned if it was me (while vaccuming my car... or was someone else driving my car..) but accepted the responsibility reluctantly. We eventually agreed and decided that the fix would be for one of his staff to install the alcantara I bought at no cost. (I was not reimbursed for the alcantara). I made an appointment for today. I dropped it off at 9 am. About 4 pm, I called to see if this small piece of on the armrest had been installed and I was told "I didn't see the car here; maybe it is in the back shop .... Don't worry... the door was closed". Then whomever returned my call the first time called me back at 5 and said it was done. Today I took photos of the odometer onsite when I dropped it off (time date stamped for about 856 AM June 14th) at Supreme Motorsports because I arrived early, and then again before I left the parking lot at about 540 while I waited for staff to move their car so I could get my car out. After my car was dropped of and before I picked it up, it magically had 60+ more miles on it and less fuel than when I left it.
I have some questions:
Why did you put 60+ miles on my car and not ask me?
Why did you put 60 plus mile and not even replace the fuel you burned?
Why did you use my car (for a parts run or not) when I dropped off the piece of alcantara with the keys?
Why did you make me drop my car off at 9 and wait until the end of the day to tell me it was ready? We're you out driving it all day?
Why did I not call back to get resolve? (I wanted to share publicly what happened; there is no resolution to this and I have decided I didn't want to leave my car there again and risk more issues.)
As I said... "buyer beware"!!! Especially if you have a sporty car! Photos below- read more
