They did an excellent job detailing my car. I have had the car for over 10 years and never had it detailed, and I had been...less than consistent with car washes. At pickup time, my car looked beautiful inside and out. On pick up, the person in charge (Wilfredo??) explained how they cleaned it as well as recommendations for some fading paint that had been expanding on my trunk. My 2014 VW Tiguan (black interior) received the Interior Detailing package on Friday. This was the first time any cleaning was performed on my interior. I had no major stains, but there was plenty of sand, some dashboard light wear/crid, many passenger seat slight blemishes (from tossing weights and more on that seat and the dog's nails) and more to clean and polish. My car's interior DOES look better than when I purchased it and will keep me focused on maintaining the interior on my own going forward. I considered doing this myself and realized (1) I would not be anywhere as effective, (2) I had no prior experience to rely on, and (3) An effective, professional baseline would work for an older car. Everyone I met was exceptionally friendly, answered all my questions (few), and took me through a tour of the completed work to ensure I was satisfied. Money well spent. read more

My car was long overdue for some interior detailing (thank you New England winters...) and Wilfredo was extremely quick in his response when I inquired about his services. I opted for the interior shampoo detail package (1 of I believe 3 different packages) which was $150 and worked out a drop off time with him. He went around my car asking me what to keep and what could be tossed out which was nice. Keep in mind whenever you opt for any shampooing that it won't be a quick turn-around time due to the need for drying. Typically you should expect 4 hours at a MINIMUM before you can pick up your car. I was asked if I could leave my car for the day which for me was OK though your mileage my vary. I dropped off my car at around 10am on a Friday and he called me to pick it up at around 4:30pm. The interior was nice and clean and they even washed the exterior of my car which was great! (They applied a hydrophobic coat on my windshield it seems which is fantastic when it rains). The inside of my car looked factory new! Overall if you have the time to spare then this place will definitely do the job properly. Wilfredo was prompt in his responses to any questions I had. This place saved my trip to NYC!!! Background: the night before my trip to NYC, I accidentally ran over a skunk (I know right!), you can imagine the smell! After a failed self service car wash, I was pretty desperate! There're no Auto Detailing Shops open at that time so I decided to check on Yelp for some help. Wilfredo, the owner, was extremely responsive at 9-10pm and I immediately decided to take my car to his shop next morning. After a few words of explanation of what happened, he quickly came up with a plan, and kindly offered me to stay at the outdoor rest area at the bar next door. After an hour of work, my car is ready and I can barely smell anything! After a few hours of drive, no one can tell what did I ran over, nothing but nice-smell soap! Truly a life saver! Picked up an older used car (10+ years) in which previous owner allowed a valve cover leak to go unchecked and as a result engine was very grimy. I emailed FS for a quote and in less than 12 hours got a reply and, before the end of the week, had my engine degreased, cleaned and dressed. I only dealt with Wilfredo and he was straight forward very flexible and communication was top notch. He was on point and explained every step thoroughly through out the entire process. I had a situation where my dog puked in my boyfriends car. During my break at work I searched on Yelp and came across his business after calling somewhere that wanted me to pay 115 for a full detail and wash to fix it or nothing at all. After I called Wilfredo (the owner) he said it would range from 35-60 and I can just worry about getting the stain out and back seat cleaned. Wilfredo is AMAZING! I splurge and have been having my car detailed yearly for a couple years by Wilfredo now. Of note, his attention to detail when it comes to taking care of my car is astounding. Even if his team slips up he does what needs to be done to quickly correct and compensate. Customer service is 10/10 and I appreciate that. He's professional, compassionate, and probably the only person I would trust working with my car. I had hit a car coming around a turn and had some paint transfer. My car did have many scratches, just a lot of paint from the other car. I had been meaning to get the car detailed to get the paint off, but had been putting it off for too long. I found Fresh Start on here and read all the great review. I had broken my collarbone so getting around was difficult, so the fact that they came to you and either picked up the car or did at your home or office. Sent a request to Wilfredo and heard from him within 30 minutes. He was able to pick my car up the same day and would drop it off the next day. The next day, they sent me updates throughout the day including pictures. Got the car back that night and my goodness, the car looked like a mirror. Interior looked better than the day I bought the car. The area where the paint had transferred you could not tell there was ever an issue there. Interior was pristine. Did an absolutely remarkable job. My wife needed her car detailed as well. It had been far too long and had a few spills in the interior. Wilfredo picked up the car on Sunday and got it back to us the same day. Again, sent me texts throughout the day with pictures updating me on the status. Her 7 year old car looked better than the day she bought it. From the headlight restoration, to the engine bay cleaning, it was immaculate. After more than a few years of thinking I was overdue to get the inside of my car detailed, I finally broke down and pulled the trigger. There were a few options in the JP area nearby, though after a yelp search I decided on Fresh Start Mobile Detailing, and I'm confident it was the right choice! Wilfredo was extremely friendly and professional on the phone and in person. It was especially helpful how flexible he was with the drop-off and pick-up, even offering to pick me up from a local restaurant after we finished dinner. The car was in almost unrecognizably great condition when I picked it up. Stains I had been living with on some of the seats for years were gone without a trace, some marks on the dash were nowhere to be found, and not a particle of dust remained.
