    Cheese Slice

Is it the best pizza in the city? Probably not, but it hits the spot and has stayed consistent throughout the years. One thing I really like about this place is they advertise themselves as NJ/Philly style pizza and the flavors definitely remind me of home. It's also a nice vibe when eating in and feels slightly more elevated than a typical pizza shop. I really appreciated being waited on immediately. The guy working the counter was super friendly and brought my slice out to the table and offered to clean up my plate when I was leaving. Crazy how a little hospitality goes a long way. Crust: Solid undercarriage with minimal flop. I wish the crust itself had a little more char, but it's good for what it is. Sauce: Robust and flavorful. I don't love sweet pizza sauces and this place does a great job at creating something much deeper and complex than most LA spots. Cheese: Tastes good, but a little heavier than I like on my pies. Would be perfect with a slightly lower moisture cheese. Overall, I always enjoy the slices here much more than most in the area. Little less cheese and a little more char on the crust would get this to 5 stars.

Caprese Salad and Caesar Salad both very fresh and delicious

The food was delicious. The service was also very good. It was pretty busy for a Wednesday afternoon. Overall a great place to try. Definitely will come back to try the pizza or sandwiches.

I absolutely destroyed my pesto slice hahaha it came looking really nice! The ambiance here is so great. Fantastic spot to eat at while waiting for your laundry to be done next door. The vibes of staff were great. You can sit at bar or a table. Will definitely be back great quality pizza.

    Beanie and beard guy!

Pizza was great. Service was not. We were a group of six and told by the guy with long hair and glasses to clear our own table -- there were no other open spots. When we started doing that, the guy with the beanie and beard got upset and snapped at us for touching the dishes, saying we made him stop what he was doing to wipe the table. Both employees were rude and dismissive. One had time to chat with a friend at the bar but no time to offer decent service. We were also criticized for ordering by the slice instead of whole pies. I get that things can get hectic, but don't take it out on your customers. I regret leaving a tip because they didn't deserve the $3.... (20%)

Good pizza, not the greatest but very good. So I always judge pizza by the plain cheese pizza, being I grew up on pizza living in the Bronx makes me a tough guy to please! So had cheese pie and a margarita pizza I was not that crazy about, but the cheese was very good. We got there late on a Monday night just before closing. The service was great the gentleman behind the bar was very nice. Cool vibe inside, and probably a great place to drink and eat pizza. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Penne with pink sauce also had a meat slice not pictured

Food was great, prices fair, and service on pint. What's there not to love?!? I'm sorry for those who said their pizza was not crispy in all the right spots were you too busy gabbing that it got cold way later??? Seriously bc my pizza and my penne with pink sauce were definitely above the 3.5 star expectations I had. I'll Definitely be back when in the area. Seriously worth the stop!

Delicious. Just go. Really, stop reading, just go. Somewhat Upscale order up neighborhood pizza place, with surprisingly solid standard restaurant fare including tortellini, and an amazing baked ziti (they completely nailed this dish). They have a small but well curated the selection of beers on tap, as well as a full bar. The atmosphere is upscale though seating is basically at picnic tables and two tops. Very well lit, clean, spacious, the place just feels "fresh." Very friendly service. Definitely a go!

We landed on the back patio, which is the move -- string lights, trees, really cute. Your other options are a few tables out restaurant-side or a boxed-in area on the street side. Just know it's all outside, and even with heaters around it gets chilly at night. We came for the pizza and that's exactly where the focus should stay: * Cacio e pepe pizza: Surprisingly delicious. Not a 1-1 with the pasta you're familiar with, but still really good and worth ordering. * Diavola: Spicy and always my favorite. * Margherita: Classic and solid, always worth having. * Rigatoni with pink vodka sauce: Server's rec for most popular sauce, and it delivered. * Little gem salad: Super herbaceous and delicious. * Arancini: Skip it. Middling for the price point... put that money toward another pizza. Pizzas and pastas run $25-29. FYI there's a 3% Healthy LA fee on your bill. Payment is handled tableside on a touchpad (card, Apple Pay, etc.). Vibe is cute, service was helpful, and I'd definitely return to lean even harder into the pizza menu. This time the cutlet tasted old and pre made, not fresh and crispy at all. Chicken was hard and not flavorful, and the marinara was not very fresh or nearly as tasty as before. Plus the corner table we had in the back had chairs that were uncomfortable and way too low for the table, which made it like chest level and awkward. Dunno who approved those chairs but they never should've been used there, they don't work at all. Next, there must've been a dead rat or rat trap outside the wooden fence where we were seated because the wafting smell of dead rat (unfortunately I'm all too familiar with that particular odor) was not pleasant or conducive to dining. Not to mention the place now gets a "B" from the county inspector, which honestly is one of the main reasons we hadn't returned recently. The highlight of our meal was the welcoming and friendly staff and especially our wonderful waiter Jude. Even though we didn't have it this time, the pizza still looked good and like the best thing to order. A great neighborhood spot that has sadly gone downhill unfortunately.

They have a few seats outside for you to eat at, but I think most do pick-ups. Second, I am a fan of Neopolitan pizza, but my only gripe is about how floppy they can be and not holding the toppings very well. Fiorelli combines Neapolitan-style and New York pizza together, so you get the rich flavors and thin slices of the Neapolitan-style pizza, but without the sloppy flop. Each slice, despite being thin, has structure and crispiness to it, so each bite is surely heavenly. Their dough is also slow-fermented, so it has a pleasant flavor depth that is almost similar to sourdough, but not quite sour. I got the Pepperoni + Burrata + Hot Honey. They are generous in the amount of pepperoni they give. Each pepperoni was cooked to perfection - curled and slightly crispy along the edges while packed with the spicy pepperoni flavor. The burrata was creamy and savory. The hot honey added sweetness and pleasant heat. I liked that they serve the honey separately, so you have full control of how much honey you actually want to drizzle on your pizza. The pizza is topped off with fresh basil leaves, oregano, chili flakes and aged parmesan. Everything came together very well. Lastly, their pizzas are sized perfectly. Enough to share, but if you're super hungry or eating only 1 meal for the day, it's enough for an individual as well. Only thing is price is on the higher end, but given the location, the quality ingredients and house-made nature of their pizzas, I think it's worth it as a treat from time-to-time.
