I've been going to visual effects for about two years now and I highly recommend their service for all your eye care needs. Dr. Nguyen is great and really explains any questions you may have and does an extensive exam of your eyes and how their health is. I literally used to live down the street from them but ended up moving away about 40 miles south but will probably continue to do my annual eye exams with their group. I have been going to Visual Effects Optometry for over 7 years now. The staff, eye wear selection, professionalism and ambience can not be beat. When you arrive, Diana is so friendly, upbeat and very thorough with reminders for appointments and follow up. Dr. Nguyen is such a gem, she remembers the tiniest details and is so lovely! It's like talking to an old friend who scolds you lovingly for sleeping in your contacts too much, but then hooks you up with everything you need because she cares, lol. I also wanted to address how well they are handling the safety aspect for the pandemic. I was able to book the first appointment of the day from Diana's recommendation so the place was empty. When I arrived, they temperature checked me, and all staff were wearing masks. I saw Dr. Nguyen wipe down all surfaces in front of me, and she even took the time to disinfect my glasses before placing them on the counter. I felt safe and comfortable the entire time, and that is such a reassuring aspect during Covid-19. This optometry was awesome! I had gotten Lasik done last year so I was just looking for any optometrist to perform my annual exams and I came across this one since my brother had been here before. I'm so glad I booked with them -- the service at the front desk was great and Dr. Dang was great too. They accepted my VSP insurance and as I was leaving, they informed me that I was eligible to receive a free pair of frames through my insurance so I ended up doing some last minute sunglasses shopping. None of my previous optometrists had even informed me about this and I used to have to pay for everything from exams to contacts to frames out of my own pocket!
