Love this place! Don't have much else to say that hasn't already been said. All of the doctors are super nice. They took the time to listen to me and make sure I was switching to the right contacts. Love the selection of eyeglasses they carry and their inventory is updated often. They are open late. And I was able to walk in and have my frames adjusted for free. All done with a smile. read more

Great service, great people, great results. Simple as that! Diana was great on the phone and very enthusiastic at her job. Her great attitude never changed even though my insurance was difficult to confirm. Daisy was also just as wonderful. Dr. Dang was also great. He explained everything very clearly like my eye exam results and what certain things meant. He was very patient with me during the exam and made sure that we got the perfect prescription for my eyes. I didn't get new glasses frames so I couldn't review on the frame selections but there was definitely a good variety. I read a lot of posts about how friendly the office staff is etc., but honestly that is secondary to me. The staff here were great, professional, respectful, friendly etc, but what I am most happy about was the fact that I can see very well again. I have worn glasses for 15 years, and last year I started seeing double. I was so worried, I imagined brain tumors etc. my last eye doctor, who is also in Brea was not able to correct it all the way, so even with glasses, I would still have this problem. I am posting this because now I see so well and am so much more comfortable doing my daily things, but especially driving. I am amazed everyday how much of a difference the Dr. made , listening to my problem and then having the knowledge to correct it..Very amazed and thankful!!! read more

Dr. Dang has been mine and my husbands optometrist for years, and has been great in helping us keep our eyes healthy but also provide some preventative measures that ensures great quality care! Dr. Nguyen, Dr. Dang, Diana, and Daisy, not only have the knowledge and helpfulness to keeping you informed but also provide great insight to the tiniest details like choosing your frame! The girls in the front have been working there for years and are very knowledgeable about the insurance process and everything else that goes on in this office. I am 100% satisfied every visit. Friendly and knowledgeable staff make this practice TOP NOTCH. I'm relatively new to the optometry world (I've only needed glasses for about two years now) but I've seen a few doctors and just not been happy with them. The 'big guys' (lenscrafters, etc) always seem to be missing that 'personal' feel that I find really important in a business, and especially in a medical practice. I've now been to Visual Effects three times and literally never waited in the lobby. You walk in, are immediately greeted by friendly staff with smiles and are shown to the exam room. Talk about service! I'm the kinda guy that needs to know everything about what's going on and what they're doing. I'm sure I asked WAY too many questions to the optometrist, but he didn't miss a beat. He was incredibly knowledgeable and explained everything, down the the science in terms I can understand.
