Please do not go here. I visited two years ago, and the service was horrible. I went on July 11, 2025, and I just did not feel comfortable. I should have known... I was not ready to pay for my glasses, but I was given a quote. When I returned the next day to make sure those were the glasses I wanted, with my quote in hand, the gentleman who attempted to help me picked out another frame. He said it was the frames that were on my quote. I asked him What do you mean? He proceeded to look for the correct pair but then informed me they were sold after he made a phone call. I'm confused. I was never rude, but I was upset. he told me he could order a new pair. What?!!!! I still did not know if those were the pair I wanted, which were a clear Ray Ban frame. The entire time, the receptionist at the front sat with a blank stare. I told him I wanted to file a complaint, and the reason I had not returned for two years was because of the horrible service I received. Needless to say, I will NEVER be back. They seem to favor certain people, not realizing that I went with my son, who is of the same heritage as them. Shame on them, and shame on their customer service skills. read more

Not one to add reviews, unless I truly believe a business needs a review. Really love how welcoming it feels to be in this place. Dr. Alfaro is always so helpful and with such a positive attitude that you forget you're there, taking time out of your day, to get your yearly check up. At least in my case. The rest of the staff very much shares the same attitude. None of us need to wear glasses, yet, so I would not be able to comment on other things like frames and prescriptions but based on professionalism, this is a great place to go to. Had my annual visit today. They actually honored my appointment time!!! What doctor has done that for you in the last 10 years? Two minutes after arriving I was in the 'testing' area or whatever that is where they are starting my exam. 8 minutes after that I was seeing Dr. Alfaro. She is wonderful! After the full exam looking at all the letters, she looked at my photos of the eye they took and explained what it all was and why it was important. I really felt like I learned something as she sat with me to explain it all. She took me to look at frames and the lady who assisted me there was awesome. Showed me frames and more frames. Then walked me through the lens options and got me out without a bunch of waiting. I NEVER felt like I was being sold anything. I've been going here for two years now. During my first exam I never followed through with getting eye glasses because I found out I was having a baby and forgot to come back(pregnancy brain). Fast forward to a year later and I wished I would have returned because it turns out the glasses I had, before I started coming here, had a prescription that was too strong. This optometrist office is a... sight for sore eyes - *laughs at own joke*. I thought all eye doctors had to sign an agreement to have stale outdated spaces, but Vision Source Westview is the polar opposite of what I'm used to! The modern interior looks like something put together by HGTV, and the new equipment looks like something out of Big Hero 6. The staff is incredibly sweet and patient. Putting up with my constant appointment changes and indecisiveness in choosing frames is not an easy task, and for that I commend them. Dr. Alfaro truly went above and beyond for me when I was in dire need of a check up and new contacts. One of my last contacts decided to go rogue one night, and only God knows where it is now. Now visually impaired, I tried getting a last minute appointment through my old doctor who turned out to have no availability for an entire week. Dr. Alfaro's schedule was very flexible, and she was able to take me in immediately. I was impressed with how thorough she was throughout the whole process. After my checkup Dr. Alfaro and her staff assisted me in looking through the large variety of frames in-house. I'm more indecisive than a 5 year old in an ice cream shop, so I didn't end up picking anything, but they definitely have a great selection to choose from. Before I left, Dr. Alfaro hooked me up with a trial pair of contacts, which ultimately saved me from potentially getting arrested for driving blind. I couldn't have asked for a better visit to the optometrist. Next time I will probably bring my daughter along for the visit so she can check out the awesome kid's area - fully equipped with age appropriate movies and toys. Definitely a 5 star experience. I've worn glasses/contacts for over 15 years and been to many optometry offices, had many eye exams. This tops all of my experiences. I was greeted with nothing but smiles and sincerity. Dr. Alfaro knew exactly when to expect me and had everything lined up waiting for me. The office has state of the art technology and have a very modern yet cozy feel. There's a cute little nook where kids can come and read books, play or watch TV while their parents get their exams done - I thought that was super neat! My exam didn't take long at all. Dr. Alfaro explained everything she saw to me and what it meant, which I really appreciated. She gave me tips on how to take care of my eyes, glasses and contacts. When picking out frames, she was patient and helped me look at every. single. pair. I'm really indecisive but she stuck it out and helped me choose the right pair. Even when another patient came in she did a great job of giving both of us attention. I ended up with an awesome pair of Prada 2 tone frames, they fit my face perfect and I learned to not wear them so high on my face (ha). Their selection is HUGE so there's lots to pick from. Another plus - Dr. Alfaro called me just 2-3 days after and they were ready for me. When I picked them up I got a cool cleaning kit, which is crucial because I always manage to smudge my lenses. I came in close to the end of the day, but at no time during the visit did I feel rushed or hurried. Dr. Alfaro spent a great deal of time explaining to me the ins and outs of my eyes. By running a couple of simple diagnostic tests, she was able to tell me what my eyes looked like "behind the scenes". She noticed there was recent irritation in my eyes and gave me her recommendations on some new contacts (my eyes are less dry and irritated now!). My visit ended close to 6:30pm, past their usual close time of 6:00pm, but Dr. Alfaro asked if I wanted to check out their new frames. I declined and told her I'd come back another day as I did not want to hold her and her staff back any longer, but wow it's great to see that this office wants your business and knows how to put you first! Great place! I discovered Vision Source from a recommendation from a friend. I was looking to get my eyes checked and get new eye glasses. Dr. Alfaro helped me get situated with ease. The office had the newest technology and she was able to show me my eyes in such detail. It was nice to know my eyes were healthy and that I wasn't at risk for future eye diseases. I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Tran, Dr. Alfaro, and the entire staff. I came in for both glasses and contacts. The equipment included some things that I had not seen in prior exams, for example I did not have to have my eyes dilated (although there was a slight additional cost, it was well worth it!) Also, I have never had such a long trial period with different contact lenses. I believe we tried 4 different prescriptions of lenses. Each time, I tried the lenses for a week and then went back and saw Dr. Alfaro and she checked the vision. And that was all included in the cost of the exam and the purchase of the lenses. Found this Dr through yelp and I'm so happy I did! My boyfriend was diagnosed with diabetes, causing his blurry vision and I called to get a same day appointment. They were able to get him in immediately. Front desk was so nice and helpful and he loved the doctor. He said she was patient with him while he tried to put on contacts for the first time, almost 30 minutes of trying with no luck. She wrote out a prescription for glasses and the girls at the front desk looked up 1 hour places to get them filled. We will definitely come here again! read more
