Hehe. How orange can I be?

I came to Eye Impact annually for so many years for eye exams and spectacle replacements. I love this place because it's consistent with everyone's wellbeing. Especially during CoVid-19 Pandemic since 2020 and Delta Variant of 2021, they took good care of the employees and patients by following the protocols provided by CDC. I am very grateful for taking a few more steps to keep everyone safe before entering the store. I am used to calling from outside before entering a doctor's office. There is a limit of one or two customers at the same time. They don't check the temperature any more. But they ask customers to wash their hands before touching anything. They even installed a UV filtration system in the waiting room. (I am glad Amy D voiced her opinion about her displeasure.) Last year, I came to find out how to treat dry eyes. Since working from home, I spent hours and hours in front of computer monitors. I needed something called a "blue light blocker" as seen on the Internet. Dr. Nguyen recommended Zocular treatment and eye compress moist heat mask. I bought ZocuWipe and ZocuFoam. I like foam one better because I can control how much I use. These are all covered by FSA. If you want an optometrist to be on your care team, choose Eye Impact. The staff is very knowledgeable, the frames are really fashionable and reasonably priced.

Was in search of a new office and found this one based on the wonderful reviews. Thanks Yelp Family, you were spot on. I hadn't visited pre-COVID but I get the impression that this office is clean and efficient regardless. However, COVID times call for different measures and this office accepted the challenge gracefully. Based on my needs, I had to visit the office 3 separate days and each time they consistently provided good safe and clean customer service practices. I also appreciated the streamlined process with what seemed like more efficient equipment. There were no clunky or old machines that take up the space of an entire room which gave the impression that this team was current and providing up-to-date and accurate care. I had no billing issues which is always a plus and everyone was friendly each visit. There's even a cute pup hanging out quietly while you wait in the posh looking modern wait area. Such a uniques experience.

Now tell me these frames aren't the bomb.com

Great Customer Service!!…read more On Saturday, we (my mom and I) went to Smith's Opticians to browse the selection of glasses. We were greeted warmly and were provided with great customer service (thanks, Sarah!) The shop wasn't crowded and people were properly masked. The checkout process for the glasses was smooth, and questions were readily answered (thanks, Philip!) We highly recommend Smith's Opticians for both their cool collection of glasses, and for their welcoming and friendly service. Thanks, team!

I brought in a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses to have prescription lenses installed. I specifically told the owner, Phil B., that I planned to have cataract surgery within a year and would want the original Ray-Ban lenses put back in afterward. When I picked up my glasses, the original Ray-Ban lenses were missing. I was assured they would contact the lab and resolve the issue. After several follow-up calls, Carlos was not only unhelpful but also rude, repeatedly telling me to be patient and that it would take time. Two weeks later, I spoke with Phil, who promised he would replace the lenses. I even contacted Ray-Ban myself and learned replacement lenses would cost about $140. Over the next six months, every time I called for an update, Phil said he would order the replacement lenses and get back to me, but nothing ever happened. After being a loyal customer for years, I expected better. Instead, I was met with rude customer service, excuse after excuse, and promises that were never kept. More than six months later, the issue remains unresolved. Extremely disappointing experience.

Dr. Lee explained what her reasoning was for every step of the exam and tailored the exam to my needs with lots of communication, while her techs did a lot of the work so she could focus on interacting with me. I've never had such a quick vision exam before and I've been severely myopic since age 5. The clinic is also equipped with a lot of instruments that make routine exams quick and easy-- they can even tell the prescription on your glasses from simply examining your lenses. The fundus exam was painless and easy compared to past fundus exams I've had and for a new patient, it is free. If you plan to get a new frame at vision optique, they have a decent selection of frames of various styles, from Kate spade to Tom ford or Gucci, ranging from 200-400 dollars (at least from the ones I inspected). The clinic is located inside of a larger mall and they have 8 assigned parking spaces just for vision optique (several were available when I visited on a weekday afternoon). There is no bathroom on the first flooor and you must venture upstairs for it. I've been to many optometrists and rarely do I find one that is so professional and kind. At vision optique, your vision exam will be done in the blink of an eye!

I've also been in search of a new eye doctor. Marco, the gentleman that greeted me was very professional and very accommodating. I made the decision to set an appointment. Today I went in for my appointment, I called ahead of time to let them know that I would be a few minutes late. The staff once again was very pleasant and very accommodating. I completed the paperwork and waited just a few moments. When the technician asked me to come back to do the initial eye exams. The equipment was in an open concept area. There was a woman and man in a business conversation. The man's voice was very loud. The two people were clearly engaged in a conversation related to the business of this particular location and franchise. For the first exam, they were directly behind me talking very loudly. Making it very difficult to concentrate on what the tech was asking me to do and also making it difficult for me to hear her speak to me. We proceeded to the second exam, which was two part. Again, the man and woman were standing directly behind me having a very loud in-depth business conversation. Making it excessively difficult to concentrate on the particular exam for peripheral vision. I expressed my concern to the tech about how disruptive it was and how difficult it was to concentrate. She was very kind and apologized and offered me to wait until they finish the conversation. The man and woman proceeded to the showroom, but were still very loud and disruptive. I completed the second part of the second exam. I once again in a respectful manner expressed my concern over the disruption. And then I ask, is that the doctor? Indeed, the woman engaged in this conversation in the earshot of customers was the doctor. I was so offended by the unprofessionalism I let the young lady know I was leaving. I'm very disappointed that I was compelled to leave as I was prepared to buy a complete frame and lenses for regular glasses and I had a bag of design designer frames that I wanted to get new lenses for. The estimated cost for what I wanted to do Wood would have been well in excessive $2000. I am totally amazed, that someone in this position and level of education, would hold such a conversation in earshot of customers. It was clearly a conversation that should have probably been behind closed doors. Details about the business and productivity are not conversation that should've been in front of customers or employees.

There seriously aren't enough good things i could say about this place!…read moreFirst and foremost, I have been going to Today's Vision for years from times when I was insured, uninsured, paying cash etc, they have always helped me obtain the services and products needed with my budget in mind. My most recent visit, to start off i was over a half hour early for my appointment and that being said they were able to accommodate me without waiting! I had tonssss of questions regarding my insurance and what was covered because i needed both glasses and contacts updated and i left fully satisfied. Never once did they make me feel like i was a bother but instead they took the time to make sure i was on the same page and happy. When it comes to health care, i think we are all looking for the same things: Cleanliness, comfort in our Dr. and employees, trust when it comes to our wallets, and ingenuity and updated technologies regarding the practice. This place has it all. Front desk girls are such dolls and consistently so. Giselle has always helped me, whether it was 5 minutes to close, over the phone or on a busy day. Exams are thorough, questions are answered, and even though Today's Vision IS higher scale in regards to frames: Gucci, Prada, etc, they are so very mindful and helpful when it comes to savings. Worth every penny to know my eyes are healthy and that I'm in good hands. I've referred friends and cousins and all have been pleased. That says something when a company treats you just as well on your first visit as your fifth or sixth. Thanks guys!

I told my husband to have them double check the values and write the numbers down. The prescription did NOT have include the values written. When I called to get the numbers, I was told by a receptionist that those numbers could not be supplied until we purchased a pair of glasses from them. You mean to tell me I paid $145 and I don't even get all the numbers? You are going to keep them and force me to pay for your overpriced frames? She obviously doesnt know what she's talking about because pupillary distance does not change depending on glass frames (optical centers do). I am beyond disappointed and will be sharing my negative experience about how Today's Vision gate keeps their content to force customers to pay exorbitant prices.
