There seriously aren't enough good things i could say about this place! First and foremost, I have been going to Today's Vision for years from times when I was insured, uninsured, paying cash etc, they have always helped me obtain the services and products needed with my budget in mind. My most recent visit, to start off i was over a half hour early for my appointment and that being said they were able to accommodate me without waiting! I had tonssss of questions regarding my insurance and what was covered because i needed both glasses and contacts updated and i left fully satisfied. Never once did they make me feel like i was a bother but instead they took the time to make sure i was on the same page and happy. When it comes to health care, i think we are all looking for the same things: Cleanliness, comfort in our Dr. and employees, trust when it comes to our wallets, and ingenuity and updated technologies regarding the practice. This place has it all. Front desk girls are such dolls and consistently so. Giselle has always helped me, whether it was 5 minutes to close, over the phone or on a busy day. Exams are thorough, questions are answered, and even though Today's Vision IS higher scale in regards to frames: Gucci, Prada, etc, they are so very mindful and helpful when it comes to savings. Worth every penny to know my eyes are healthy and that I'm in good hands. I've referred friends and cousins and all have been pleased. That says something when a company treats you just as well on your first visit as your fifth or sixth. Thanks guys! read more

Very disappointed. My son had his vision appointment here and I had hoped due to the high price of the optical exam it would include worthy information (such as pupillary distance) so I could have a more accurate measurement for ordering glasses online (we've had problems in the past). I told my husband to have them double check the values and write the numbers down. The prescription did NOT have include the values written. When I called to get the numbers, I was told by a receptionist that those numbers could not be supplied until we purchased a pair of glasses from them. You mean to tell me I paid $145 and I don't even get all the numbers? You are going to keep them and force me to pay for your overpriced frames? She obviously doesnt know what she's talking about because pupillary distance does not change depending on glass frames (optical centers do). I am beyond disappointed and will be sharing my negative experience about how Today's Vision gate keeps their content to force customers to pay exorbitant prices. read more

Thank you, for caring about my eyeballs. After being rejected by Kelsey Seybold at Meyerland, my insurance gave me a list of doctors and I randomly chose thise place. I know where this shopping center is, but I've never been here. From what Dr. Nguyen told me, they've been here for five years and people tell him that all the time. I honestly think it's because when you see the place you either miss it or think glasses, not doctor. I was very hesitant at first. I mean they have Versace glasses here, so I wasn't sure if they were going to push their glasses over their medical help and the front desk lady did seemed slightly confused why I would go here for medical stuff at first, but once I explained my insurance sent me, it seemed to make sense. The place is small, pretty, and clean. There's an interesting little aquarium too. The front desk girls were friendly and we talked about everything from weddings to my eye health concerns. It felt very natural to me, so I didn't feel like I was over sharing. It's either the best marketing scheme ever or they have nice staff. I prefer to think they're nice. The doctor finally got me. I've been telling my doctor at Kelsey my eyeballs have issues. Not contagious issues, but still infection issues, so I don't have cooties to give you, yelpers, but still cooties none the less. He really listened, gave me a preliminary diagnosis, looked at my eyes, sort of looked pain at just how terrible the eyes were and put me on an eye regimine, prescription, and what not. He wasn't even worried about getting the new glasses or anything. He wants to make sure they are working and healthy, which is what I wanted form Kelsey. Biggest plus? They took me in as a new patient and I didn't have to wait a week. I just called and the next day I was there for the doctor appointment. I have to come back in two weeks to see if the situation worsened, improved, what not, but at least I now have a game plan. I'm going to think happy thoughts, but in the mean time if you need an eye doctor that cares about your ocular health try this place. They didn't push their inventory, which is what really won me over at the end of the day and the ease of appointments and scheduling was well worth the visit. I wish I realized the doctor existed here earlier. read more

I am highly upset, disappointed, an feel like I've been CONNED by the establishment.. I paid for two exams on two different occasions with Todays Vision at this location... I was satisfied with the first visit so when I needed new glasses I came back. Unfortunately on my second visit I was sold a FAKE pair of Gucci frames. I didn't notice that they were FAKE until a while later after I sat on them.. I took them to Gucci to get repaired, an Gucci refused to touch them because the frames were not Authentic.. I took off from work, to bring the glasses back to (the same location) I brought them from.. I went back into the store an the doctor looked me in my face an told me that he didn't wake me these frames. Then told me that he'll go half with me on a new pair!! So he wanted me to spend more money at this location after saling me a FAKE pair of glasses.. I'm extremely upset because he tried to make it seem like he sold me a REAL pair, then I went an brought a FAKE pair switch the lens out. SMH !!! I didn't get her name, but the front desk receptionist (who also did the first portion of my eye exam) was very sweet & didn't mind calling the other location to get my correct prescription so she could quote me accurately. Dr. Nguyen has been my doctor for a long time and I don't think that will change anytime soon. Also super cool to see externs in there, great bedside manner :). read more

This place has a lot to offer with their glasses. Very nice selection. Plenty of brands, from cheap, sports, to even designer. However, this location is privately owned. So most of their policies and regulations go against the normal policies at most "Today's Vision" locations. We had an issue where we had to return a pair glasses due to poor fitting. We looked up their return policy on their glasses, thinking we could do an even swap. We had to pay an extra $50 just to return the glasses and exchange for something else. When I brought up their company policy on their website, they simply told me, our website hasn't been updated, Things have changed. Keep in mind this is the website to their privately owned establishment. They basically don't go by what they advertise online. Not to mention, they are poor at communicating. We were told our glasses would be available in 7-10 business days. It was 12 business days, then when I called, I was told they still were working on them. I feel as though that should have been told to me. I shouldn't have to call you to get an update on my glasses. However, Jisella was very nice and very professional! read more

Dr. Nguyen is the best and his staff is fantastic too! This has been far and away the best experience I've had at an eye dr. The exam was so comprehensive, they didn't miss a thing. Dr. Nguyen really took the time to explain to me what he saw in my pictures and talk with me about my issues. I got way more than just an eye exam and contact lenses. Dr. Nguyen really makes you feel like he genuinely cares about your welfare. Not to mention he is just really kind too. So is all the staff. I never felt rushed and hurried over. I feel like every possible thing was checked for and discussed and I feel truly confident in the health of my eyes. The facility is so beautiful too and all the equipment is state-of-the-art. Even the bathroom is gorgeous, lol. I will never go any where else for my eyecare and will refer all my friends and family to Dr. Nguyen at Today's Vision Bellaire. The staff was very helpful and even though I was only looking for a pair of glasses Dr Nguyen made himself available and was very helpful in giving suggestions to questions I may have had. They have a wide variety of frame manufacturers available to select from and are competitively priced (I shopped around). Next time I need an exam I will come here. read more

Dr. Nguyen is really great! I recommend him every chance I get. I've tried out several optometrists over the past five years or so, mostly TSO locations and never felt satisfied. They were always rushing you through the process or not very friendly and pretty unhelpful when it came time to pick out frames. Take all of that and think the opposite and you get Dr. Nguyen. They are always great about scheduling appointments and I never have to wait more than ten minutes to be seen. He does an extremely great job during the exam process as well. I never feel rushed and he is always patient when I can't quite decide between option A or B or 1 or 2. The staff is also very helpful when picking out frames. All around a great place! read more

The selection of frames they offer are fantastic and always carry the most up to date trends. I was looking for a new eye doctor and a place to get new glasses and contacts so I visited this place. Upon entering I was greeted very quickly and the staff at the desk were very friendly. They weren't too aggressive but made sure that I was taken care of if I needed anything. Dr. Nguyen was a fantastic doctor. He was very helpful and friendly and I ended up walking out with an eye exam and both new glasses and contacts. STOP DO NOT GO TO THIS TODAYS VISION. They are the ONLY location that I know of that doesn't have a customer satisfaction guarantee policy. We spent over $600.00 for frames that were too big for my husband's face. We encountered a woman by the name of Jezelle who we relied on to help us and instead fitted my husband in glasses that according to Dr. Nguyen were way too big for his face. When my husband brought a pair of frames for Dr. Nguyen to look at, he told my husband "Those frames fit perfect and they cost the same as the frames that you have on. However, his assistant Jezelle wanted to charge us another 160.00 on top of the 600.00 we had just spent to replace the frames that she so poorly fit on my husband. I reached out to Mr. Watson who is the founder of Today's Vision. I never heard back from him and today after having his glasses for a week the nose pads fell off. They replaced ONE of the nose pads instead of two, so now he's wearing frames that are too big for his face and nose pads that are uneven because they are different sizes. I called and spoke to Jezelle she preceded to tell me that the Dr. Nguyen doesn't take well to threats. WHAT!! The only threat I made is the one your reading right now. Jezelle preceded to tell me that Mr. Watson doesn't make any decisions about their store and she said it so rudely and snotty like the awful and rude person she is. Folks with soo many visional companies out there, please DON'T WASTE your money or your time at this money hungry, don't really care about patients and good patients that have bought there repeatedly. I'm horrified and disgusted with these people and please don't support this store. They are located in Meyerland and haven't we all been through enough already with all of our floods. To receive this type of customer service is downright cruel and inhumane. They care ZERO about the customer and they care about the money more! read more

Excellent, skilled optometrists, Dr. Noroozian was patient and figured out that my issue with my contacts was a subtle/minor adjustment for my astigmatism. Front desk staff are very friendly and professional. They are also very patient and accommodating. Update: 5 stars I went back and the rude office manager was no longer there. The staff was really pleasant and the doctor's knowledgeable. Great location, easy appointments. I love the selection of frames, too. Previous Rating: 3 stars Overall: I'm conflicted because I prefer Dr. Nguyen. But, I'm not a big fan of his office manager and I'm spoiled for choice within a 2 mile radius. Pros: Dr. Nguyen is great. He is attentive and thorough. Cons: I find his office manager condescending. She is not good with effective client communication. For example, I was emailed a reminder about an upcoming appointment and replied to that email asking if we could reschedule. I was out of the country and couldn't call. I never received a response. I showed up for my scheduled appointment and was told the doctor left early because I had cancelled it. Mind you, the attitude was it was my fault for asking to cancel (yes, I asked, but she never responded so I didn't know if they got the email and I was unable to confirm cancellation). I assure you had it been the reverse, they would have charged me for a no-show as the sign on their front desk indicates. So, to recap: I took time off of work on my first day back to the office having been away for several days where the doctor was a no-show due to his office manager's inability to communicate effectively. Ironically, when she was looking for payment, phone calls were made, that email was received, though not responded to, and my account charged immediately. read more

I went for my visit about two weeks ago. I needed to get a new pair of glasses and also get my yearly eye exam. I also did a contact exam and had some other tests ran for blind spots etc. routine things. This was a great experience. They were able to get me in on time, I was able to complete my paperwork online before I ever got there, and the staff was all professional and friendly.
