We contracted with Vidal and Vintage Pools to build a 10x20 pool. The price was around $46,000. The build quality is excellent, tile work is great, decking is good but 1 more drain channel would be better, plumbing and electrical all works as expected. Vidal was great to work with and everyone worked very hard. Building a pool is a large project and I expected there to be some complications but I feel it all went smoothly.

3 star average is accurate. You will get your pool, but the experience along the way will be bumpy and unpleasant. Vidal is hot and cold. Some days he delivers great service and is pleasant to work with, but other days not so much. When you have bumps along the way, prepare to be treated like you the customer are the problem, instead of him taking accountability and reassuring you that he'll fix it. It will be an argument to get things fixed. Everything is sub contracted out which is why they have so many issues. They don't know the crew coming to your house, or the work they do. Here were my 4 main issues I experienced: 1. Design of my yard did not match approved rendering. I declined initial rendering, wanting more grass. Vidal sent a new updated rendering which I approved. Well, final product is here and they designed my yard off of the initial rendering I declined. I brought up my concerns to him on day 1 & was dismissed "trust the process". Product completed & I was right. They build my yard off the wrong rendering. Brought this to Vidal's attention. No apology. No accountability. He was so rude. Told me my design was not possible. Maybe so but that should have been communicated to me ahead of time and not just done without my permission. We did eventually come to an agreement and I am happy with this now, but I was not happy with the customer service leading up. 2. Concrete company was a total mess, trashed our neighborhood streets. Concrete poured all over a tree trunk in my front yard. Tree will likely die. Plus a huge spill - concrete poured out the back of the truck all over the streets as they drove out of our community. HOA and one of my neighbors were furious. Uncomfortable for us. Took a long time to get cleaned up. Later received certified letter from concrete company that they'd placed a lien on our home due to non payment from Vintage. I guess Vintage wasn't happy with the concrete guys either so they withheld payment, which resulted in the lien. Fixed now aside from my poor tree in my front yard. Vidal confirmed today 8/13/24 that he has no plans to do anything about our tree. 3. Pool light was not installed correctly. Seal is faulty. Water filled the pool light on day one of adding water to our pool. I brought this up to Vidal immediately, he said it's a warranty issue. Our pool construction still wasn't even complete, and it was an issue day one so it's clearly not a warranty issue. Just wasn't installed correctly. Pool light doesn't work at all. Took 45+ days to fix. The warranty company spoke very poorly of Vintage Pools when they came to our home. So their reputation is clearly notorious even with their partners. 4. Tile. Had a dispute over the tile design. Our rendering had a tile accent on the stairs, but apparently our contract did not include this. Vidal agreed to add it. Send his tile guy back out. Drained the pool and he added the tile strip but it was done so poorly. He left huge cuts in our pool foundation that were sharp and rigid. There's no way he missed them. They were huge. We brought this to Vidal. So tile guy had to come out again to drain the pool and repair the cracks he left. He got most but not all. It's a brand new pool, shouldn't be any cracks. Vidal again is treating us like we are the nuisance when the reality is he's got bad crews and there's just no quality control Like I said - you will get a pool and for that you will be happy. But prepare yourself for a drawn out process and to be treated like you're the problem for simply holding them accountable for your $45k+ investment. Final items to note: their office phone will be out of service periodically. A large pool loan company would not write new business with vintage because they had too many customer complaints with them. We got approved, but not with them specifically. Vintage can't find a good concrete company to do the sub contract work. See above. Check out Robertson's concrete out of Corona CA on Google - that's who they subbed for our pool in Las Vegas. Awful reviews. Worse than Vintage even.

I chose Vintage Pools because of there web site that have pool packages and prices up front where as other pool Contractor will come out and give you estimates. Vintage Pools has there web site gives you an Idea of pricing from there with Options to your needs plus they also do Landscaping as needed. Where some Pool Contractors only do Pools. As of the time line getting pool done is up to you because delays will happen because of the Holidays and Weather Permitting In Las Vegas area. Great staff they text you when you are schedule for certain work. We went with one of there packages then added options what we needed for our back yard. We needed landscaping besides just pool and decking for patio they do it all.

My Beautiful Vintage Pool!!!

We spent close to 50k on solar panels. Our inverter went out late August. They sent out a tech to try to fix it several times. The fix would last a few days then fail. We were finally approved for a new inverter. We had to wait for the warranty to be approved then the unit to be delivered then for it to be installed. We lost the ability to generate energy on and off until last week. (Aug-Nov) When I asked to be compensated for the loss of the ability to generate power due to faulty equipment I was told that the company would look into it and ask management. I was contacted today that $69.00 is all that was approved. So from late August to the end of November we were not generating power from the panels consistently. We were patient waiting for a fix and to be told $69 is disappointing today the least. Please be careful when considering to do business with this company. I understand needing to take time to fix an issue but not to help the customer with the loss of solar for over three months isn't how you take care of customers. I wouldn't recommend them.

Our HVAC system completely died in 2024. We were using AC window units and floor heaters, because we did not think we could afford a new system...until Bob's! I used co-pilot to get the top 10 rated HVAC companies in the Vegas Valley and Bob's was ranked #1. I called and spoke to Alexis, who was so warm & patient, getting us scheduled with Adan the next day for a quote. Adan was SO incredibly through & HONEST. After looking over what we needed he gave us a quote that was literally half what we expected *including a year of service as well!! We were able to finance through a partnership that Bob's has with Wells Fargo, for only $155 a month with great rates! We were scheduled the following Monday for installation. The installation team of Francis, Darwin & Jathan showed up on time and went straight to work. Our home was built in 1962 and has old funky everything honestly. I had a real concern about the new equipment fitting without a ton of expensive retrofitting. Well, the entire job was completely done within 6 hours and without a single hitch! Francis did an amazing job, magically fitting the new Trane Air Handler, where the old one was, with literally inches to spare! Jathan was able to also fit our new water heater into the small, tiny outbuilding miraculously as well! Darwin did such a meticulous job getting the HVAC unit installed outside perfectly with all the lines placed neatly and wrapped for UV protection! I was overjoyed to see the new circuit breakers for both the water heater and HVAC unit as well! Everything was done at such a Professional level, I was truly blown away! These Guys absolutely know what there are doing and were extremely polite, efficient & hard working. They cleaned up after themselves and left things literally cleaner than when they began! Energy & vibration are EVERYTHING and every employee I dealt with was STELLAR! I am now comfortably sitting in my climate-controlled home, with nice clean warm water...HAPPY as can be! I would recommend Bob's Repair to everyone! They exceeded my every expectation! Thanks Bob's!!

For instance, Steve went over our potential system, explained the potential output, maintenance, and any concerns we had about installation. Robco also made it a point to not disway us from shopping around; he actually encouraged me to have the meeting and gave us ample time to consider options. I found that so refreshing and it told me they were confident in the value they provided. Once I notified him that we were gonna go with them, the inspectors were out making sure the breaker box and roof were OK. Everyone was so nice and considerate to the point where I didn't feel like I had to be home the whole time. Once that is done, Steve quickly notified me of our install date before later receiving an email with the offical details. Day of installation, Alfonso and his crew continued the trend of being thoughtful and nice. From beginning to end the solar installation was done within two days, and at the end of each a progress update was provided. Alfonso also let me know that somebody would be out to paint the piping alongside my house and when the final inspection would be conducted. After that, it was just waiting on Nevada power to change out my meter which also was faster than anticipated. Overall, I would highly recommend Robco. From the answering of the phone, setting up the appointments, the installation and inspection crew - you cannot go wrong in choosing Robco!

My solar system was installed by LA Solar Group over 6 years ago, so I thought it would be nice to…read moreprovide new customers with a look ahead after investing in a costly project. My 7.54kW system used 29 - 260W LG panels split into 2 arrays and utilized both M215 and M250 Enphase microinverters. The reason I wanted to try 2 different microinverters was to compare the performance. In the end, it really didn't matter much. Bottom line, shading and weather were the dominate factors in power generation and all the crazy details I looked at were in the noise. It was still fun at the time. So 6+ years after having this system installed on my roof, I have had ZERO problems (kudos to LA Solar Group and the quality of the hardware). My system has produced over 72 MegaWatt-Hours of power and each and every solar panel and microinverter has reported data (input voltage/current, output voltgae/frequency, and power) from day one over that period of time. This telemetry allows me to see exactly what's going on in my system and if any one of the 29 panel/microinverters acts up, I will know. My system has already paid for itself based on my calculations, so I am a very happy customer. In addition, when I have questions for the LA Solar team, I still get answers. Highly recommended. With the cost of solar dropping in price over the years, it's really a no-brainer.

The 6.8 KW (peak) solar system that these folks installed for me really rocks! So if you are…read moreplanning to install a solar system, look no further and hire this company. I say this because I did my homework right and had obtained over six estimates, and this company beat all the other five not only on price and quality, but also on other (rather important) things as you can see below. 1. Price: This company beat all the others by nearly 20%, and all the other five estimates came very close to one another to the point where I was suspecting that there is some sort of illegal "price fixing" that is rampant industry-wide, but not for this company since it came far away (and below) all the others. 2. Equipment Quality: The system they installed was the most advanced compared to all the other bids. It used higher-end Panasonic panels, and Enphase micro-inverters and combiner. Others bid for lesser-quality no-name panels with one string inverter and a set of optimizers. After much research, I think a micro-inverter based system is superior to the string-inverter based system (so don't listen to the confusing information you find on the web, which portrays the two types of systems as being "equivalent"). So with a total of just 20 panels, my projected annual solar energy production should be about one and a half times my consumption. This should bring down my PG&E bill to the minimum $10/month, and should be able to provide all the electric energy needed for an extra electric car I may purchase in the future. 3. System design: This company had the most precise and realistic design, and that is very important because some of the bids I received were not realistic as they sketched more panels on my South-facing side of the roof than that side could possibly fit. This inflates the projected energy production, but is NOT realistic. In my case, the optimal design was to use the Southern-facing and Eastern-facing sides of the roof and to arrange the panels 50/50 on both sides. This company nailed the design right, but other bids like I said was either plain wrong, or were not realistic. With this design I was able to get a peak production of 6.2 KW, which is close to the theoretical 6.8 KW peak (the difference being mostly due to the orientation of my house). 4. Consumption and Net Monitoring: Most contractors let you monitor ONLY the energy production of your solar system, but this company gave me the ability to monitor the CONSUMPTION of energy by my house and the net energy exchanged between me and utility company on an instantaneous basis (actually every 15 minutes) and on the same Enlighten App as shown in the picture. This is really useful if you would like to do any energy planning in your house to see who/what is really consuming electricity. Granted that you can see the consumption on your utility website, but that data is one or two days delayed and does not show up in the same view as the production, and these two problems make the data from the utility company useless for that purpose. 5. Other: All the folks of the company I have dealt with are ethical in their dealing and are reasonable. The company installed the system in two days, which is very quick. Getting the consumption monitoring to work correctly took a while longer though.
