Last month, we hired TRUE Pool Service (702-466-6608) to investigate a possible leak in our 30 year old Pentair Clean & Clear Plus 420 pool filter. Alvaro quickly diagnosed the problem as a crack in the lower housing and suggested we try the Crystal Water Cartridge Filter 425 because it's more efficient and costs less than the Pentair filter. As he was testing the filter, he also discovered a clog in our "pop-up" pool cleaning system and fixed that. My husband was impressed with Mr. Lopez' work and asked if he could repair the drain channels in the pool deck that were cracked and dangerous. They cut out the old drains, installed ~30 feet of new Deck-O-Drains and re-plastered the drain channels with color-matched cement. Our pool is finally clean again - the new filter runs fewer hours and at much lower pressure. The drains on the deck look a thousand times better. The entire job was complete in 2.5 days and cost $2,500. True Pool Service did a great job and we highly recommend their work! read more

Failure to perform, over billing and marginal work quality. They appear to be nice but they are quick to blame everyone but themselves. I have filed a notice with the Nevada Contractors Board and will file suit for damages, fraud, price gauging and false advertising. Be careful with this service. If you would like copies of their text communications I can email them for verification. read more

We had some technical issues with our pool. Debris from adjacent construction sites blocked our pool drainage pipe. Called around to find somebody to unclog the system and luckily came across TPS. They asked to call back when the pool has been emptied out of water. Knowing that the pool can't sit empty for too long it was comforting to know they are reliable and answer their messages quickly and willing to accommodate our tight schedule. Alvaro came at 4pm and unclogged the pool, installed a new pop up head and was out of the door in just over one hour. I'll call him first for any pool repair that I may need and recommend that you do that too.. read more

Rescheduled on me at the last minute, then didn't show up for the reschedule. Al told me he would confirm the exact time prior to coming for the rescheduled appointment, and I told him I would provide my address and gate code when he confirmed the time slot. However, he never confirmed the time slot, and when I followed up, he cancelled and tried to blame it on me. A more professional apparoach would have been to apologize and try to schedule another appointment. Instead, Al tried to gaslight me when I was clear in my communication. Unreliable service, poor communication, would not trust Al to come to your home. read more

I needed 2 pool light wires run. My existing lights died and I bought 2 replacements. True Pool was the first company to respond to my request and showed up the next day. They completed both wire pulls in an hour or so. They were challenging pulls because I had tried but couldn't get them done. The cost was very reasonable and competitive. Very knowledgeable as I was asking about other pool care topics. Very professional and very nice and polite. I would definitely use True Pool again for any pool needs or issues I have. read more

True pool really helped us in a pinch and did a very good job with the repairs and follow on service. Highly recommend them!

My pool's green algae problem was at its worst as the pool was neglected pretty much during 2022's hottest summer months while I was away and out of the country. I found True Pool Service after few weeks of searching and vetting for a dependable company. Their price quote was neither the cheapest nor the most expensive amongst the companies I reached out to but true to their company name, True Pool Service delivered a total true and outstanding pool service! A local and small family owned/operated business, they DO take their job seriously and take pride in it and their high Yelp ratings and good reviews attest to that! I corresponded with the business owner and the main pool guy, Alvaro, who in person is soft spoken, courteous, professional and trustworthy As the norm, washing a pool is a 3 day process from draining on the first day, to washing to water refill on the second day to chemically treating and balancing the water on the third. The algae infestation in my pool was so bad he had to chlorine wash the pool first, then he acid washed it then gave it another chlorine wash just to totally get rid of them. Alvaro was prompt and punctual and very good in communicating (via text) when he was unable to come on the third day to balance the water but made up for it by showing up and coming the following day to finish the job. He singlehandedly turned my pool back into its old best shape. I personally maintain my own pool, including draining and refilling it annually but I turn to professionals when it comes to acid/chlorine washings so I told Alvaro I would be utilizing their company's services every 3 years. Just the same, he gave me some useful tips on how to maintain and chemically treat my pool in summer and winter months. I highly recommend True Pool Service! read more

I used True Pool Service (Al and Isabel) for my pool remodel. They did an outstanding job. They were both very responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. They truly care about the work they do and the customer. If you are considering remodeling your pool, I would recommend True Pool Service for your project. Their pricing is very competitive and came in lower than other companies. Thank you Isabel and Al! read more

Alvaro and his wife removed the cheap solar water heater from our roof within two hours. Amazing job! We plan to soon have them redo our pool deck & in the later future re-plaster our pool. We would strongly recommend them. They are responsive to texts, emails & phone calls. They show up on time & can't wait for them to do the rest of the work on our pool. read more

I highly recommend using this service. They were prompt, clean and very friendly. My pool needed to be replastered. They gave an estimate of 2 weeks. They were finished before that deadline. When it was time to fill the pool, they did EVERYTHING. All the right chemicals added and they released the pool back to my regular service guy and after they were satisfied all was in order. They even went the extra miles to fix something that I didn't know was missing. Thank you so much Isabel and Alvaro. read more

Alvaro replastered and retiled my 20 year old pool back in May. It came out beautifully. A chlorine disk fell out of the floater during a storm and left a burn stain on the new plaster. I reached out to Alvaro to see if it could be fixed. He came over and acid washed the stain. He even cleaned the calcium off of the waterfall and left me a tool to scrape it off with- all complimentary. Wow! read more

Highly recommend!! Alvaro & Isabel were great to work with. This was a big project, and they made us feel comfortable and updated us through every step. Their quote was fair and their timeline was spot on! When choosing tile they met us at the showroom twice! (I wasn't 100% sure on my first pick) They weren't annoyed by me wanting to go back and look, they offered their opinions and didn't push me to make a decision. As you can see in the pictures we had a very dated pool, and they transformed it! On top of the pool remodel, they also installed a new heater and system to modernize our pump. We are so happy with the outcome, we will be able to enjoy our brand new pool this summer! Thank you Alvaro & Isabel! read more

Only thing I can say is he came out on time. He told me it would be 1,000 to get a drive for my Leslie brand pool pump. He said the better thing to do is to buy a new 2,200 pump. I said I couldn't really afford that but if he would give me all the options via text I would let him know what I wanted to do. Never heard from him again. I would never do business with someone who doesn't follow through. Waste of my time and my time costs money since I had to take off work! Look elsewhere. As to company response: Bottom Line... man said he would text and never did. It is worth noting that the part WAS available. Even more noteworthy... IT WAS FREE to fix and install as it was a Leslie's Pump and Leslie's install so it automatically had a 5 year extended warranty. Very shady not to tell me that (man knew it was a Leslie's Pump and knew it was only 3 years old because I told him). If you knew your business should've known it was a free job and not try to sell me a 2,000 pump + 180 for install. Shame on you. read more

Best pool service in town. Quiche but quality service. My neighbor doesn't have a pool but us and the other neighbor were both doing pool services. We did a complete renewal. Yet our other neighbors pools seems months away from completion yet our project was fi wished within a month. Once again it is beautiful and was done in a month. Both our neighbors have been thrilled with our new look. Highly recommend!! read more

As someone else has said, don't let the number of reviews sway you from these guys....they are AMAZING. I think we might have one of the largest wet-deck installs in all of Vegas and don't regret one movement of it. We had a typical mid-90's pool -- the plaster was in really rough shape (chipping and lots of rust stains), it was so deep that even when it's 110+ outside the pool was always 72 degrees. Yes we have a pool heater but it would literally take 8 hours to get the water to 80 or 82, and cost a small fortune in natural gas. We had a few different companies come and bid for a solution to the problem at hand -- it's too cold to enjoy and what solutions could make it warmer without just running a heater all the time? WET/SUN DECK is the answer folks! They basically took the deepest half of our 6 1/2' deep pool and turned it into a deck -- there's still A LOT of deep water to still swim. And the best part....it basically is sitting at 80 to 82 without heating right now -- crazy. Anyway, more about True Pool -- family owned and operated, great people who are passionate about what they do. Do what they say, do it on time, do it in a very budget conscious way and were 100% professionals. In addition to the wet deck and pool re-plaster/re-tile, we also had our actual decking (which was chipping horribly) re-surfaced as well. We are just so freaking pleased with the backyard and by this company. Thanks you guys! read more

Alvaro and his wife were fantastic to work with. We had a heater we moved from our old house to new that we needed installed. I reached out to many companies for quotes and a date I wanted the work completed by. Not only was their quote and value the best, they responded immediately and had the work completed within a few days. They laid a cement slab, placed the heater, changed the size of the gas line, and ran all the tubing to the heater. It looks fantastic! I have lived in Vegas for a couple year and have had two houses with pools that have needed various work, and this is by far the best and easiest company I've worked with. I will call them for future needs. read more

Alvaro is awesome! I was looking to replace the old (and broken) fiber optic light system in our pool and he worked with me in getting the necessary equipment. Flexible with timing and great communication. He got the work done quickly and effortlessly and explained the process throughout, which I really appreciated. And above all else, he's a super friendly and helpful guy. We discussed a couple future projects and I'll definitely be working with him again. Thanks Alvaro! read more

Al was amazing at responding to my request for help. He actually came out 30 minutes later to estimate the work and what needed to be done. Due to some wiring issues at my house the problem grew complex but he had the knowledge and expertise to figure it out and got the work done same day and then came back the next day for the following issues.. I'm so grateful he was able to fix this lighting issue and also pool jet issue quickly. Payment was easy and quick as well. Would happily recommend to friends and neighbors. read more

After putting off the decision to re-do your pool due to horror stories, I met Isabel and Alvaro with True Pool Service. They were amazing! I was given a very fair quote (priced less than most competitors I spoke with) and they backed it up with their friendly, professional attitude and stellar workers. I was quoted 2 weeks and they finished early. They were in constant communication, answering all of my questions and keeping me well informed of the progress. Their attention to detail and highly ethical behavior put my mind at ease. They respected my home, yard, and even my pets during the process. I would recommend True Pools to anyone considering a beautification project. I can't sing their praise enough! Fantastic company, remarkable finished product, and an extremely satisfied, happy customer! Thank you for restoring my piece of Paradise! read more

Don't be fooled by the lack of reviews, their service is EXCELLENT. They are a company starting out otherwise I think they'd have 5/5 stars. I needed my pool re-plastered and the deck painted as well. Out of all the companies that I requested estimates from they were the most reasonably priced. Alvaro and his wife were great, they advised me on the pros and cons of each option and didn't try to upswell any services. The whole process from getting a quote to finishing the project took a little over 2 weeks. My pool before, during and after. read more

They came out promptly to change a light in my pool. At a quick glance, they immediately noticed that there was water in the light fixture. They didn't have the equipment on hand to fix it right then, but came back a couple of days later and quickly fixed the issue. Their price was quite a lot better than a lot of other pool places i had come out and the fixture works perfectly. The owners were so nice. I will definitely call them again for other services I'll be needing come spring. read more

Hired these guys to do a drain/clean/refill on my pool after five years with the same water. It's not an inexpensive job so was already sad I had to do it but after the work they did I feel great about the money spent. They got all the white crud off my tiles at the water line and my pool looks like new. Took a couple days to do the cleaning and fill but after he came back and balanced the water and we've been swimming in fresh clean water for a couple months now. Call them for your pool service needs, A+ service from these guys. read more

Called back this service and although the owners were very nice my experience was very different. He had to return a few times because of a miscommunication and seemed very disinterested in doing the job. When they finally replaced my pump I asked him if he noticed the leaks that were coming from a different area of the plumbing. He said yes. I asked if he could return to fix it. I called later and was told they would call when they finished their other job. ...Months later...They never called me back. read more

Would highly recommend this company. They were fast, on time, and had good communication.

Absolutely amazing service!! They had a busy schedule and couldn't make it while I was home. They showed up changed out my actuator valve, took pictures, sent it to me (I wasn't able to check my phone until a few hours later), and left without payment. When I finally checked my phone after midnight, I was able to Zelle payment. But for a business to come out do work, leave, and not get paid after speaks volumes for the trust and confidence they have in their customers and their work. Isabel was able to schedule someone to come out quickly and Alvaro was the one who came to fix the actuator valve. I definitely look forward to working with them in the future and so should you!! read more
