Hey yall! My pool at my home is under inspection therefore one day while delivering, I came across the nice pool environment and seen they had a gym as well! For $3, you can go swim in the middle or in the lap areas everyday of the week and use the gym equipment area! Clean locker rooms with showers and they are attended to, very good environment filled with kids and parents doing swimming lessons! I stayed a while and got my time in! The pool in the middle goes up to 4-5 inches which is better than most pools around town which are only 3-4 inches! The lap sides can go up to 12 inches of water tho... anyways! Visit this place! Brought my boys here for swim lessons, classes are $20 a kid for four week classes! Such a great deal ! Pool is big has seating for parents to watch, and also has covered outside seating. I've been to other places and the cost is higher, places are packed, oversized classes, instructors aren't in-tune. Very nice municipal lap pool! Love that it's open to the outdoors but also covered, is huge in size (had no problem getting my own lane), and has great locker room facilities (bring our own lock). The $3 price is perfect, way cheaper than most public pools. Definitely worth visiting if you are in Vegas looking for a pool to swim laps in! read more

I enrolled my daughter in a 4 week swim class here and so far I think this place is great. The gentleman who checked us in at front was such a delight. I wish I had gotten his name. Anyway, he answered all of my questions and explained where to go and what to expect for our particular swim class. The facilities are really clean here. There is a locker room for both boys and girls. The pool is large and sectioned off. It has lanes where you can also swim laps. The instructor for my child was Alex who warmly greeted us and introduced himself and provided info about the class. He seemed very friendly and worked so well with all the kids he was teaching. read more

A year ago I started coming here to get some exercise and it was great. You can usually get your own lap lane and swim laps. Another huge plus is that it's indoors but still has open air from the sides of the building, so there's not so much debris in the water and you're protected from the harsh Vegas sun, no need to worry about sunscreen and getting toasted. The bathroom and indoor facilities are too cold for me, as I get cold easily and I'm usually freezing if I'm wet. I suggest coming here in the morning as the afternoons get loud and crowded in the children's section. I do bring my daughter here and it's not great for that because there's tons of kids splashing around and it's too deep for her to wade around. They also do not allow you to bring your own floaties and have to use theirs, which are cumbersome and do not fit the needs of a toddler. Don't forget to bring a towel! read more

I love this place not only is it cheap but it is an indoor pool that is open year-round and has open swim. They also have lap lanes and a workout room that you have access to with your Access fee. Restrooms are very clean and the locker room is sanitized often the restrooms and showers are very clean for being a public pool area. The waters always warm they have an outside picnic area and lots of activities and classes to register for. Big open swim in the middle area that the kids love playing in. We choose this pool over all the other ones in the city for a reason. The staff and lifeguards are phenomenal. read more

Large facility with extensive hours and relatively clean changing rooms. Kickboards and pool noodles are available to borrow. I thought the water could have been cleaner though; lots of sand, grit, bits of paper and who-knows-what debris sitting at the bottom in many places shows me it's clearly not regularly vacuumed. If that could be done this would be a top-notch facility. I liked how the windows open wide into the garden to let air flow through freely. read more

I had gone to another pool and you needed a reservation (I should of known better). I called this location and Barbara answered the phone. She was very polite and informative, no reservation needed. We got in right away. Best experience ever thanks to her. We'll be coming more often. read more

This place is the best swimming place in Vegas they won't let you in from 4-6 because of there swim teams but I'm in the team and it's fun I go there from open time to close they are short staff but they are funny.. read more

Do you a.) live reasonably close to downtown and b.) not have a pool of your own? Well, welcome to my miserable life. But the scorching heat of a Las Vegas summer can be alleviated with a trip down to the Muni pool. It's huge, with lots of roped off lanes if you want to do laps and be separate from the scads of kiddies splashing around the main (shallow) area. And they also have a couple of hours in the afternoons of adults only swim time. (Remember how you hated that as a kid? Well, it's pretty frickin' great now!) Lifeguards are pleasant and keep the rowdies under control. None of this is an issue in the non-summer months. There are hardly any kids to be spotted when school is in session, and it's temperature controlled for year round swimming. Just you and a few other old farts paddling happily around. It's only $1.50, but if you join in Feb., they have a family special- up to 8 people for $160 for the whole year. Can't beat that with a stick, especially since it includes use of their little gym which I avoid like the plague. read more

Closed Sundays. I typically stay at the Golden Nugget downtown and you can't just gamble, drink, eat, gamble, drink and drink. I guess you can because I sure have in the past but now I take a 10 minute walk to the local plunge. Nothing reinvigorates me like a long, leisurely swim. Then it's back to drink, gamble, drink, party, you get the idea. The pool (50y but 25y lap lanes) is heated, indoors, and only a couple of dollars. They have locker facilities but I have never used them. 5 stars. This is the local plunge and not the Ritz. read more

I didn't even know this place existed. Its right off of the freeway and features several swim lanes. They conduct lessons here and even have synchronized swim teams practicing inside. We had our boy scouts conduct their swim test here and the staff was extremely accommodating. We seriously had about 20 screaming kids flopping around the pool but somehow they maintained control of the situation. The facility is maintained well and has a really clean restroom and showering area. read more

Coming from CA with constrained facility sizes, I was really happy with how big and expansive the facility was. Reasonable price ($3) of entry, solid amenities, will be back whenever I visit Vegas in the future. read more

Great pool, indoor, lockers, lots of parking & lanes are almost always available before 3pm (HS swim team practice) they are always clean and friendly. They do have meets on Saturdays so plan ahead. (Feb-June HS swim season) read more

Great pool! Nice lap swim time - 8 am to ~ 3 pm weekdays before the youth teams practice. Water temp is great for a good workout. They are closed on sundays. BYO lock if you want to use the lockers. There are lockers on the pool deck in addition to the locker room. The cost of admission also includes use of the adjacent weight room. read more

The pool is usually very clean and lanes are almost always available. Some of the lifeguards seem distracted or tired while on stand, I'm a strong swimmer so thankfully I probably won't need to be saved anytime soon. As a ex lifeguard I think they're lacking a little discipline. The front desk ladies can be a little slow also. However the facility itself is well maintained so I continue to come back. read more

We had a swim meet and the lifeguards were being very rude plus they didn't let us in until after 9 when we had warm ups at 9 and they charge 50cents for the dryer which is completely idiotic so yeah don't recommend this pool at all. read more

I was staying downtown at the Golden Nugget and came here on a Saturday at noon to swim laps. The pool itself was great, and I had a lane to myself. Locker room facilities were basic but clean and decent. The price can't be beat: only $2 to swim. The place is across the street from what appears to be a shantytown, and the walk from the Nugget was sketchy, with a lot of homeless dudes hanging out and wandering around. I am an adult male used to living in cities, and didn't feel all that comfortable walking there, so consider walking there with a companion or driving. read more

Excellent lap-swimming facility. Older building but very well-maintained, many many lanes, one of the largest swimming pools I've seen. Entrance fee is $2 and they offer monthly passes. Make sure to check schedules as only two lanes remain open when swimming lessons and practice take place (80% of the time). Otherwise it is a really amazing facility and a real pleasure to swim laps in. Lifeguards are very friendly and professional. I'm not 100% sure but I think it's salted water, not chlorinated. If you live in Vegas or on an extended visit, and you are a semi-serious swimmer, you must give it a try. read more
