This was a fun place. We had our own vest for our daughter but it wasn't certified. Thankfully the pool provides their own life jackets which was cool. The pool is not that big but its enough for the kids and adults to enjoy. They have a kiddie splashpad, a diving board that goes leads to 10 feet of water (you must show the lifeguard you can swim one lap first) and there's large slides. The water starts as low as 1 feet for the kids. I saw some signs for community events but nothing on swim lessons. Ironically it was 102° outside but we were cold in the pool. To the point my ears were freezing LOL! For $3/person(free 3 and under) that is nice for the community. We look forward to checking out some of the the other pools. By the way please bring swim googles!

Got here a little before 6pm and parking lot still empty and just 2 families in front of us to enter. As we were waiting to pay, the line started getting longer. Quick process, they accept cash, no bills larger than $20 and card. But I've read card machine is sometimes down so just make sure you have cash on you. 3 and under free, $2 entry for 4-17, $3 18+ Since we got there early, we chose a table underneath the tent near the showers just so I could keep our bags there and flip flops. They have showers and lockers inside the restrooms too but we just kept everything out. They have a kiddie section with a small slide and 2 slides for older kids/adults. Height limit is 48". The water for the kids is pretty strong. My daughter didn't like going through the stairs to get to the slide. Pool is 3ft - 6ft. They block off a section with a diving board which is 5ft - 12ft. You do need to do the swimming test with the lifeguard to swim from one end to the other to get a wristband so you could go in that section. Lifeguards are at every section. They do pay attention as whistles kept blowing so that's a plus. No place to purchase foods/drinks that i saw. Really not to sure about that but there is a sign in the front that says no drinks allowed. I didn't bring my water bottle and nothing was said. Epic place for the kids I must say. My kids enjoyed themselves. It's not cowabunga bay but for the price it's great. It gets crowded but hey, it's still fun.

Our go to for the summer ! $3 for adult $2 for children 4-17, free 3 and under. Opens at noon, and we get here a quarter after to find somewhere to sit as there are limited spaces to sit with shade. Lockers provided which are a quarter. And life vests made available as well. They DO NOT sell beverages or food nor allow any food inside unless water bottles. Life guards are very attentive. 6 on duty if diving board is open. Pools are big. Two water slides- one fast, one slow. Water play ground in the middle on the very shallow side for smaller children I admit I was skeptical because of the negative reviews, but glad we came to check it out on our own. Love how cheap it is and surprisingly the water is super cold, and oddly to say don't have that dirty taste My children had so much fun. I was in and out to dip and back to my lounge chair. One thing I will say EAT before you come. Bring iced water, and swim shoes if you have them. The floor is extremely hot of course because it's Vegas

we had an amazing experience because of Joesph he made the time well spent, 100% deserves a raise because of the joy that me and my sisters had!

2 bucks to get in. They open at noon and it was packed by 1pm. Great for young kids (ours are 3 and 5); an area large enough for parents to lounge while the kids play. large shallow area. u can rent vests for the littles. clean showers (no soap) and large locker room. you can definitely take snacks in and keep near the lunch tables area--they did not check bags. Perfect inexpensive outing during our Vegas trip!

Very nice pool. During quarantine, they are doing 2 hour swim blocks, and I suggest getting there 45 minutes early because we did not get in two times in a row, for the 5pm and 7pm blocks, which seemed to be most popular. We got in the next day for the 2pm block, which I think a lot of people avoid because they think it'll be too hot in triple digit heat, but there were still cold parts to the pool, so I actually think as hot as possible is the best time to go for a nice warm swim! I did message the city that they should implement an online reservation system like Clark County and city of Henderson because there was basically a mob of people with no organized system for putting people on the first come, first serve waitlist, and small children waiting outside in the extremely hot sun for almost an hour. Until they do, I probably won't go back because the online reservation system at the other pools mentioned above is much more efficient and accommodating with guaranteed entry. They do take temperatures, which is great, and it's a really cute water park with complimentary life jacket-style floaties. No inflatables or access to locker room or showers, restrooms only.

The pool is cool. I had to demote a star because the 12-4pm lady at the desk had a list of rules and was being a taskmaster. She said I couldn't wear a shirt and trunks when there were women in there dressed like that. When I returned from 6-9pm the other woman was more laid back. It's unfortunate that you have be ethnically connected to cashiers in order to not get the third degree. The young lifeguards are very sweet and greet you while you're in the bathroom, leaving, and coming in.

Great for the kids and fun for adults. Love that they have a diving board and the orange slide is fast so heads up. I appreciate the life guards are very observant. I would recommend coming here

The splash pad with the big bucket that turns over after filled with water sooo fun!!!!

Ask the Community - Garside Pool

Is this park for the general public or is it attached to an HOA?

What is the water temperature? In the evenings on a day like today where the temperature is 86 degrees. Is the water warm when they open at 6?

Hi! I have a question regarding big water slides. What is the minimum height for a child to use those slides? Thank you.

That was so rough. 2) Small inconveniences - as where to put my toiletries in the shower, the shower style allowed for water to go everywhere, the sink leaked when the water was shut off, it just seemed not thought out at all and a lot of maintenance issues. 3) The air conditioning was on point when we came in, nice and cool. But the last day it didn't seem to work at all, barely blowing long enough so the room wasn't cooled completely. I was super hot the morning we left. 4) We felt like no one was around. They don't seem to have enough of the life jacket vests for the super littles, which is the age that these are most commonly worn. Costs 2/5 Ambiance 5/5 Amenities 4/5 Service 3.5/5 Cleanliness 2/5 Food 4/5 Not having a Dyson blow dryer for a luxurious spa- ZERO 0/5 I'm not sure what this place looked like before but the remodel looks amazing! This is why I gave 3 stars. I love how this spa has shade by their own spa pool! Plenty of space! I didn't like how cold the pool was though! You would think they have the heated pool but nope! It was cold. We had to go to hot tub first to warm up! Ambiance is great! Relaxing. We loved all the amenities like the gym, hydro pressure shower, dry sauna, cold plunge, hot tub, indoor pool, steam room, meditation room. The steam room was out of service though. We love the big comfy chairs everywhere! Water/snack station was okay. Needs more work..like more drinks and snacks! Food was great when we ordered from the spa menu. Chicken Caesar was delicious! Service was great but not excellent. Everyone was nice but I hate the fact that they automatically charge you 20% for spa staff but what the heck do they do when they don't even clean. See below. I'm not a fan of this! Hey you get 20% local discount but we will charge that back for auto gratuity for spa staff?? Wth. I literally just tipped my masseuse more because you know damn well she isn't going to get that all. My masseuse was amazing! She got all my knots out and gave me one do the best massages ever! Her 25 year experience really shows! Book Barbola! Room for improvement: Cleanliness- I say ICK when showers are not cleaned in between guests. That is a major issue of concern you all need to address. They didn't have enough showers for people to use and instead of someone actually mopping and sanitizing the showers; I saw the lady just take the dirty towels and put new ones! That's PLAIN UTTERLY DISGUSTING. LIKE AIRPORT LOUNGES IVE BEEN TO, THEY DO A BETTER JOB CLEANING INBETWEEN GUESTS. So of course I saw hair on the ground. Grossssss. On top of it, they reuse the water for the hydro pressure and I saw hair floating there too!! I cannot. IF I AM PAYING AN AUTO GRATUITY OF 20% THEN I EXPECT THIS PLACE TO BE SPOTLESS. NOW IF THE SHOWERS ARE NOT GETTING CLEANED; I DO NOT EXPECT EVERYTHING ELSE TO BE CLEANED. LETS TALK ABOUT THE BLOWDRYERS. So you have this new nice remodeled, luxurious spa with the pretty vanity areas. But instead of finding a Dyson for a blowdryer. You find a cheap ass Conair blowdryer from 1990. Com'on! You can't blow dryer hair with this ancient machine! I literally didn't even dry my hair because it was garbage. I literally went home to just use my own Dyson. I can't believe Modern Vegas Luxury made this top luxurious spa when there isn't even a Dyson. Last important things to remember- they charge you the full service price of your massage if you do not call 4hrs before massage to cancel! Make sure you confirm all your friends, family, loved ones, whoever. Don't invite that one friend that will flake!! We tried to talk to managers about this but they were not willing to accommodate this lost in money! We get they have strict policies but honestly- we even asked to use the service for enhancements or extend one of our massage. NO ACCOMMODATION! They even had the NERVE to charge us 20% service charge. My friend had to fight this one! How do you charge this when the girl didn't even show up! Anyhoo, come for the vibes and massage here but don't expect it to be super clean. Bring friends that won't flake. I'll come back if they clean this place up...

When the weather starts heating up, that room gets so hot it's impossible to work out. I swear the A/C doesn't work for that room, or it never had AC installed, because it seems like it was originally meant to be a storage room. The best ventilation you can get in that room is when they have to move the location of the class to the main gym because kids use that room during the summer (which I can't even imagine how hot it must be for them during the summer, how is that even safe?) They tried adding a few fans scattered around the room to help cool it down, but the only thing those fans do is blow hot air around. I've even resorted to purchasing several mini fans that I bring to class with me and attach to my bike, which is so ridiculous. There are also several people who have been coming for a while who completely colonize the fans in the room and move them to where they're ONLY POINTING TOWARDS THEM. I can't believe I have to fight for proper ventilation while I'm trying to exercise. Please fix the awful cooling system or move the class somewhere that actually has working AC, it's the same story whenever the weather heats up and it's been that way for 15+ years before it was even Les Mills RPM. Why am I paying $60+ a month to die in Las Vegas because YMCA can't fix their AC?

We joined last year, and the deal was something like four months for $200 for the family? Don't quote me on that but I'll be on the lookout again this year. The location is definitely on the older side but staff were nice. We got a full tour and all of our questions answered when we joined, which was a touch lengthier of an experience than I would have expected but you could really tell that the staff here care about their jobs. They also shared useful info for my toddler and upcoming programming for her age range, which was a nice touch. Despite having access to their classes, we only went for the outdoor pool. There are a few shaded areas with turf to bring your towels or chairs and stake out a spot while the kids splash around, it does get crowded at peak times. There are plenty of lifeguards and staff around to keep an eye on things for safety. There's basically a wading area with a climbing structure on one end, and a deeper pool for older kids with bigger slides and lanes at the other end. Every hour or so there's a swimming test check and everyone gets out for that. My toddler is still a new and tentative little fish, so we mostly sat along the wall in the knee-deep area and practiced floating and splashing. The pool area has loud and family-appropriate music playing for a fun atmosphere, and you can get safety vests as needed. Kids are fairly well behaved with parents and staff around. Locker rooms and bathrooms are dated but as expected, no issues. Everything has always been clean. If you don't have a membership, you can pay a daily fee - as a bonus, the first hour of pool access each day is for members only, which is a calmer time to take smaller kids if it doesn't conflict with naptime. On another kid-related note, I do appreciate that we can pretty much bring whatever toys, drinks, and snacks we want here - you'll see some families with full on coolers to spend the day here. If I could suggest some improvements to the pool area/experience, I would love to see a shade structure added to the tables/chairs by the check-in booth. It appears that they used to operate a snack bar (which would also be nice, but I understand it's not a priority) and the seating is there but completely useless when it's 100+ outside. That space could really be utilized if it was covered.
