This was a fun place. We had our own vest for our daughter but it wasn't certified. Thankfully the pool provides their own life jackets which was cool. The pool is not that big but its enough for the kids and adults to enjoy. They have a kiddie splashpad, a diving board that goes leads to 10 feet of water (you must show the lifeguard you can swim one lap first) and there's large slides. The water starts as low as 1 feet for the kids. I saw some signs for community events but nothing on swim lessons. Ironically it was 102° outside but we were cold in the pool. To the point my ears were freezing LOL! For $3/person(free 3 and under) that is nice for the community. We look forward to checking out some of the the other pools. By the way please bring swim googles!

Got here a little before 6pm and parking lot still empty and just 2 families in front of us to enter. As we were waiting to pay, the line started getting longer. Quick process, they accept cash, no bills larger than $20 and card. But I've read card machine is sometimes down so just make sure you have cash on you. 3 and under free, $2 entry for 4-17, $3 18+ Since we got there early, we chose a table underneath the tent near the showers just so I could keep our bags there and flip flops. They have showers and lockers inside the restrooms too but we just kept everything out. They have a kiddie section with a small slide and 2 slides for older kids/adults. Height limit is 48". The water for the kids is pretty strong. My daughter didn't like going through the stairs to get to the slide. Pool is 3ft - 6ft. They block off a section with a diving board which is 5ft - 12ft. You do need to do the swimming test with the lifeguard to swim from one end to the other to get a wristband so you could go in that section. Lifeguards are at every section. They do pay attention as whistles kept blowing so that's a plus. No place to purchase foods/drinks that i saw. Really not to sure about that but there is a sign in the front that says no drinks allowed. I didn't bring my water bottle and nothing was said. Epic place for the kids I must say. My kids enjoyed themselves. It's not cowabunga bay but for the price it's great. It gets crowded but hey, it's still fun.

Our go to for the summer ! $3 for adult $2 for children 4-17, free 3 and under. Opens at noon, and we get here a quarter after to find somewhere to sit as there are limited spaces to sit with shade. Lockers provided which are a quarter. And life vests made available as well. They DO NOT sell beverages or food nor allow any food inside unless water bottles. Life guards are very attentive. 6 on duty if diving board is open. Pools are big. Two water slides- one fast, one slow. Water play ground in the middle on the very shallow side for smaller children I admit I was skeptical because of the negative reviews, but glad we came to check it out on our own. Love how cheap it is and surprisingly the water is super cold, and oddly to say don't have that dirty taste My children had so much fun. I was in and out to dip and back to my lounge chair. One thing I will say EAT before you come. Bring iced water, and swim shoes if you have them. The floor is extremely hot of course because it's Vegas

we had an amazing experience because of Joesph he made the time well spent, 100% deserves a raise because of the joy that me and my sisters had!

2 bucks to get in. They open at noon and it was packed by 1pm. Great for young kids (ours are 3 and 5); an area large enough for parents to lounge while the kids play. large shallow area. u can rent vests for the littles. clean showers (no soap) and large locker room. you can definitely take snacks in and keep near the lunch tables area--they did not check bags. Perfect inexpensive outing during our Vegas trip!

Very nice pool. During quarantine, they are doing 2 hour swim blocks, and I suggest getting there 45 minutes early because we did not get in two times in a row, for the 5pm and 7pm blocks, which seemed to be most popular. We got in the next day for the 2pm block, which I think a lot of people avoid because they think it'll be too hot in triple digit heat, but there were still cold parts to the pool, so I actually think as hot as possible is the best time to go for a nice warm swim! I did message the city that they should implement an online reservation system like Clark County and city of Henderson because there was basically a mob of people with no organized system for putting people on the first come, first serve waitlist, and small children waiting outside in the extremely hot sun for almost an hour. Until they do, I probably won't go back because the online reservation system at the other pools mentioned above is much more efficient and accommodating with guaranteed entry. They do take temperatures, which is great, and it's a really cute water park with complimentary life jacket-style floaties. No inflatables or access to locker room or showers, restrooms only.

The pool is cool. I had to demote a star because the 12-4pm lady at the desk had a list of rules and was being a taskmaster. She said I couldn't wear a shirt and trunks when there were women in there dressed like that. When I returned from 6-9pm the other woman was more laid back. It's unfortunate that you have be ethnically connected to cashiers in order to not get the third degree. The young lifeguards are very sweet and greet you while you're in the bathroom, leaving, and coming in.

Great for the kids and fun for adults. Love that they have a diving board and the orange slide is fast so heads up. I appreciate the life guards are very observant. I would recommend coming here

The splash pad with the big bucket that turns over after filled with water sooo fun!!!!

Ask the Community - Garside Pool

Is this park for the general public or is it attached to an HOA?

What is the water temperature? In the evenings on a day like today where the temperature is 86 degrees. Is the water warm when they open at 6?

Hi! I have a question regarding big water slides. What is the minimum height for a child to use those slides? Thank you.

That was so rough. 2) Small inconveniences - as where to put my toiletries in the shower, the shower style allowed for water to go everywhere, the sink leaked when the water was shut off, it just seemed not thought out at all and a lot of maintenance issues. 3) The air conditioning was on point when we came in, nice and cool. But the last day it didn't seem to work at all, barely blowing long enough so the room wasn't cooled completely. I was super hot the morning we left. 4) We felt like no one was around. They said we could purchase breakfast however no one was ever around to seat us. It was a complete ghost town. The fountain wasn't even running and a lot of lights were off all the time. The pool area is super relaxing, and I loved that they have a coed sauna. I got an 80-minute aroma oil massage and it was AMAZING. The therapist used the perfect amount of pressure, and the room was so tranquil. Also, huge shoutout to the staff--everyone from the front desk to the poolside team was wonderful and so friendly. *That being said, the amenities definitely fell short compared to other spas around here (like Red Rock, where they give you dried fruit, granola, juice, Pellegrino, etc.). At Aquae, the complimentary snacks were literally just popcorn and water, which felt pretty lackluster for a spa day lol. *A few other things annoyed me: My first locker was broken so I had to switch to a different one. *Two of the showers were totally out of order. And if you're modest like me, there is no private changing area unless you lock yourself in a bathroom stall or take up one of the few working showers. I am not a fan of letting all of my jiggly bits hang out. They were missing some basic conveniences--no disposable razors, and no swimsuit dryer (they just hand you a plastic bag for your wet swimsuit). They did have toothbrushes, hairbrushes, shampoo, shaving cream, and hair dryers, though. Overall, the price point is fair for locals, the grounds are pretty, and the staff and massages are top notch. But with the JW Marriott and Rampart remodeling, Aquae Spa really needs a revamp of its own to catch up on the amenities. I'd go back for the massage, but I'm definitely bringing my own snacks and maybe a Moomoo tent to change under so I don't jiggle my wobbly bits in front of everybody next time!

When the weather starts heating up, that room gets so hot it's impossible to work out. I swear the A/C doesn't work for that room, or it never had AC installed, because it seems like it was originally meant to be a storage room. The best ventilation you can get in that room is when they have to move the location of the class to the main gym because kids use that room during the summer (which I can't even imagine how hot it must be for them during the summer, how is that even safe?) They tried adding a few fans scattered around the room to help cool it down, but the only thing those fans do is blow hot air around. I've even resorted to purchasing several mini fans that I bring to class with me and attach to my bike, which is so ridiculous. There are also several people who have been coming for a while who completely colonize the fans in the room and move them to where they're ONLY POINTING TOWARDS THEM. I can't believe I have to fight for proper ventilation while I'm trying to exercise. Please fix the awful cooling system or move the class somewhere that actually has working AC, it's the same story whenever the weather heats up and it's been that way for 15+ years before it was even Les Mills RPM. Why am I paying $60+ a month to die in Las Vegas because YMCA can't fix their AC?

You have to sign up electronically on their website to secure a spot. I never had any issues securing a spot in my desired class. I also really enjoyed the aqua classes that are held during the summer. Unfortunately, the building itself is so in need of serious renovation. Sometimes it stinks inside too. Granted membership fees are low but put some money into this place. There is really only one large classroom and they offer no ceiling fans or quality airflow. Let's face it, when you work out you sweat and I get hot very easy. There is one large fan in the corner of the "only large" classroom but you aren't always allowed to use it. People will bitch that it's too cold etc. Why are you here if you are not sweating? Location is kind of far from where I live so not real convenient. There have been break ins and thefts in the parking lot as well. I finally chose to end my membership here and stick with my current gym and utilize the great outdoors for my workouts. I am saving money each month in membership fees and gas. I may return to take advantage of the aqua classes in the summer but until this building receives a serious update I am out.
