My husband and I went for a couples massage for my birthday. The service was good for the price we paid. You receive 30% Sunday thru Thursday and 20% Friday and Saturday for locals. When we arrived there was no front desk agent and the lady watching the front desk did her best to get us checked in and to our locker areas. Our massage was scheduled for 9:00 we were on time but I guess due to the call in from staff we waited in the couples waiting area and then we were escorted to our room to start our massage after 9:00 am. My massage felt a bit rushed. The facility was very clean. The snacks area could be better. They only had popcorn in a tub and raisins with mixes in nuts. Also they had water and teabags for tea. Facility seems more upscale and should have better snacks. We didn't use the gym but it seemed new and nice. The outside co- ed area seemed clean but was full by the time we were done with our massage. There was a couple day bed areas you could reserve. Update on another wonderful Spa treatment located at the Spa Aquae in the Rampart hotel and casino . While in Vegas I always treat myself for a massage. I always make an appointment with my favorite massage therapist Dulce. Normally I book 60mins but this time I booked 100 mins well worth it . The time goes by so fast while you're so relaxed when you're getting a massage. Dulce always provides the best professionalism massage to her customers. Spa Aquae was recommended by a friend who sent us a video on social media. My partner and I have been trying to do more self care things together, so this seemed like a great option. We called a day before we planned on coming in. For a day pass, we were told no reservation was required and that we could walk in, which is what we did. The young lady in the front was helping another customer on the phone when we walked in, so it took a few minutes to get us checked in. A few employees were milling about the front, but did not greet us. After checking in, we were escorted to our respective locker rooms, assigned a locker, and given a small tour of the amenities included inside the locker room. The women's side had 2 deluge showers, a dry sauna, steamed room, pool, hot tub, cold plunge, meditation room, VIP room, couch for lounging, showers, and an area with snacks and water. The snacks were limited and only included caramel popcorn and pretzels. The lockers have robes for use and I was also offered a pair of slippers, but alas, they did not have my size. Outside, there is a coed area with a pool, hot tub, steam room, and lounge chairs. Day beds were available for an additional cost. I heard that the pool was heated, but it did not feel like it on the day I went. The lounge chairs next to the pool are directly in the sun, perfect for sunbathing, but a little too hot to handle on the day I visited. There is easy access to towels throughout the spa. Some other patrons ordered food which was brought right out to them. We had a great time and the day pass was a good deal with the locals discount. Flew in from San Diego to celebrate my birthday, was staying at the JW Marriott and thought it would be fun to also do spa day. I booked reservations for 7 of us a month in advance and visited at the end of May. I was told the hydra lounge/spa pool area was being remodeled but all other areas were not affected. The spa sales person completely fabricated the actual condition of the spa. I understood treatments were discounted 30%, but even at that it was absolutely not worth it. Here is what I was NOT told: Women's locker rooms/showers not being available and we'd be using the men's locker room that is in need of repairs. The lockers many unusable and broken (wouldn't lock/unlock, attendant knew of the issues and told us, "It is what it is", we had to ask for assistance in opening. No A/C in the treatment rooms, it was hot and they used small fans to circulate warm air. Hot stone massage is nice but not when the temp outside was over 100 and no A/C available. Plumbing issues, and awful stench that made all of us vacate the bathroom area immediately. We did not use any of the amenities because of the unsanitary smells/conditions. Showers flooded and water coming up the drain near the sink area with the terrible smell of sewage. No space/room for us to hang out, I was told we'd have a dedicated area and champagne to celebrate this special event. There was an old brown couch crammed up against the wall, maybe could seat 3 people, random mismatched dining chairs placed in the locker room area, and makeshift partitions for privacy (look like metal screens they found laying around outside), it looked like a garage sale in a crypt. The area was more like a dingy dark dungeon. The spa was not in any condition to be open. Worst of all was the dreadful customer service from the spa attendant, (found out later that she was the spa manager) who thought by offering me warm champagne as I'm checking out could make it better (my guests left the facility already). I expected her to ask how everything went, but she didn't because she already knew. It was an uncomfortable conversation, no interest from her or apology. I was in disbelieve of what just happened and asked that she just charge the cost to my room in hopes of addressing the problems with management. The next day I sent a follow up email to let the spa sales person know of the situation, only to receive a templated insincere email from the spa manager saying, "your feedback is being used as an important point of reflection and improvement for myself and our team..." and TO MAKE IT RIGHT she offered me spa passes for when the remodel was completed. I responded saying I don't live in Las Vegas and they would not be of any use to me. Instead I asked for a refund/partial credit, something in return because spending over $1000 for a horrible experience is not right. I have not heard anything back and it's been 3 weeks. I imagine it will be nice once the remodel is completed, but if you decide to visit before then, don't believe what they try to sell you - "a peaceful spa like experience" because it's not. If they had been honest and stated the real condition of the spa I would have chosen a different spa to celebrate my birthday, there are so many other beautiful spas to choose from in Vegas. I love this spa! It's not too busy and the amenities are nice. They have showers, a pool, jacuzzi, steam room, etc. They have lockers, amenities and a comfy couch. Had a prenatal massage with Zivile and she was amazing. She obviously couldn't apply a lot of pressure but the massage still felt great. She was kind and prioritized my comfort the whole time. Amazing massage! I showered after and I love the amenities. They smelled good and they work well too (the conditioner conditions!) The robes were soft and cuddly. I had a great massage for their recent "quick" service special (25 minutes for $85, plus required gratuity) Access to the indoor and outdoor spa facilities was included, both before and after the service. The massage (I opted for deep tissue, which is not relaxing but therapeutic!) was great. The amazing massage therapist took care of all the knots in my back & neck, which helped alleviate some back pain. There are both hot and cold jacuzzis inside, tho the larger tub is only a cold one and that doesn't seem logical. There is only one small "hot" tub. There are also sauna rooms and waterfall showers. The regular showers have shampoo, etc. right inside the showers, which is great. Outside is a nice long pool and a jacuzzi with lounge chairs by the waterfall. The outdoor tub wasn't hot, and I was told it had been refilled or something and was "heating up"?. I don't see how that works....... The facilities weren't busy, and I enjoyed being able to use both the indoor and outdoor tubs. My treatment room for a 25 minute massage was nothing special. I'd return for the wonderful massage but am disappointed that they can't keep "hot" tubs hot, especially outside in December! read more

We were in town for the Beyoncé concert back in August and we're staying at the JW. We wanted to book a treatment but unfortunately they were all booked up, but I was able to snag a booth for us to hang out in before the concert. Our check in experience didn't go so smoothly as they had a difficult time finding our reservation, but once they got it figured out the rest of the experience was good. We were each given a tour of our respective genders locker areas and their amenities, such as the showers, hot tubs, steam rooms, etc. Since we arrived early, we had our pick of booths as there were only two others there. The booth was spacious, more than enough room for the two of us. We could've easily had 4-5 of our friends with us and would still have had room to spare. It was located in the shade and under a couple of huge fans, which was a plus. The pool was just steps away. The only real knock I have is the food and drink situation. We were able to order food, but it was from the same menu as room service, which was from their decent, but not great restaurant, Earl Grey. With their excellent restaurant, Hawthorn, located right next to the spa, I was baffled as to why we couldn't order from there. Also, the only adult drinks offered were basic beers like Bud and Coors. I think them not offering a custom cocktail menu (and not offering the Hawthorn's food menu) is a huge missed opportunity. The spa is lovely, there is a steam room, sauna, multiple pools, deludge (very neat), and an outdoor pool. I know the pool is co-ed, I'm unsure if the men have the saunas and jacuzzis. Great experience and spacious. You can spend atleast 5 hours here relaxing. I am unsure if they have alcohol/ mocktail service, but they should incorporate if they do not already. Just a suggestion. Food menu options are very limited and drinks are very expensive. Snack area upstairs and down stairs included pretzels and trail mix (basic raisins and peanuts). Deluge has a sign that reads something similar to using reclaimed water. Not sure what that means but doesn't sound healthy. I like a firm massage but therapist was unresponsive to my pain and shortened session by showing up late. No sign on out of order bathroom, can't unsee it. Supplies in the women's vanity area not restocked. Multiple guests had to ask for items that should be out. At the end of my treatment (not the end of their business day) while trying to leave, front lobby felt like the employee break room as a number of the staff members hung around to talk to their coworkers. For the price, I'll never go back. The massage was mid, she didn't really do specific work on the areas I asked for. I could feel her nails scratching my skin. Her technique for knots was just to "thunk" over them, over and over in an irritating way. She was nice though. The massage table was broken so I was in an uncomfortable position face down. The head of the table was raised and couldn't be lowered when I was face down leaving my back hyper extended. The table should not be used for any guest. The amenities were subpar, wet towels not being picked up. There was a teapot unplugged sitting on the counter. Was I supposed to plug it in and fill it to make myself some tea? An unmarked bottle on the counter was either deodorant or hairspray. I didn't experiment. Rolled gold pretzels and some caramel corn for snacks. They remodeled the entrance recently, which doesn't add to the experience at all. Not allowed to sit on any chair with cushions around the outdoor pool. Those were reserved for a fee. 6 uncomfortable wicker loungers were first come first serve. I try not to be negative, and I know my standards are high, but I left feeling a little robbed. With the locals discount and then added gratuity it was about $240 for an 80 minute service. read more

I just want to warn anyone thinking about booking a spa treatment at the Marriott in Vegas. It was honestly one of the worst experiences I've ever had. I came in for a 50-minute facial, arrived exactly on time, and was told to wait upstairs. All three restrooms were under renovation, so I had to go downstairs and back up again -- and when the esthetician finally came, she snapped at me asking "Where have you been so long?" (it was literally five minutes). Then she completely ignored what I told her: I said three times that I can't do exfoliation because I'm using tretinoin, and she still kept pushing it. If I had agreed, I could've ended up with chemical burns. The whole facial lasted barely 30 minutes instead of 50, and she acted annoyed the entire time. When I mentioned it to the front desk, management didn't even apologize or show the slightest attention to guests. Just blank stares and indifference. As someone who used to work as a hotel manager, I would never allow my team to treat guests the way this spa's management does. It's rude, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. Save your time and money -- go to another spa in Vegas. Marriott, seriously, do better. Hire trained professionals who know what they're doing. read more

The other employee that needs some recognition is Annalysa. She is a college student who was hustling and bustling. She was on top of every little thing that was out of place, super kind and just joyful. Super no frills spa at the JW Marriott/Rampart Casino/Summerlin. It was actually really pricey for what you got, even with the locals discount which is 30% off on non-sale packages. We did the least expensive couples massage and it came out to a little under $500 with the local discount since they add an automatic 20% gratuity. The jets in the pool were broken. They also charged to use the daybeds, and only had about eight noncharging hard seats available for paying spa guests. This was really unnecessary since there was barely anybody there that day. They should just open up the entire area so whoever was there would have a nice experience. Where the heck were all the towels? It was impossible to find towels. When we could finally find an attendant to bring out towels he would only bring out one for the person I asked. Not for the additional prison with them or any of the other people in the pool area. I spent most of my time looking for somebody for things, such as refilling the tea, ladies locker room had no ice, no shavers, no face lotion, no face towels, the list went on. Also the lockers kept getting stuck. So I would have to go look for an attendant who was never at the station. This place would have been worth about 120 a person for a massage, not 250 a person for a 50 min.massage. read more

My friend and I try to visit a new spa every couple months and this time we chose Spa Aquae. I love that they offer a locals discount and it's every day of the week. We came on a Sunday around 10 am, the pools and other amenities were not too busy which I really enjoyed. Inside they have a large women's locker room where you receive a robe and sandals if you did not bring your own. They also have some hair dryers/tools and other toiletries for getting ready after a shower. There's a wet area with a jacuzzi, cold plunge and regular temperature water. There's also a high pressure shower, steam room and dry sauna. My favorite part of this spa was the outside coed area with lots of comfortable seating and a big hydro therapy pool. We came in the middle of summer and the pool was still perfectly cool. It was so refreshing. The only thing I do wish they had was some complimentary fruit or healthy snacks and more drink options besides water. I would have loved some tea or juice. You can place an order for food/drinks from the room service menu outside but it is quite pricey. Overall I still really enjoyed my time and would come back again. Was recently here at the JW Marriott for a wedding during the 3rd week of October and as part of the stay we were able to use the spa for daily use. Fortunately, during this time of the year, it is much cooler and therefore probably not as crowded as during the peak summer season. Highly recommend relaxing here during the day if you don't want to be at their larger pool. Would have been a five star experience had it not been the hiccups with ordering food using their QR codes which were on the tables. The women spa is poorly designed and lacks the expected amenities of a luxury spa. First, the hot tub/Jacuzzi in the women's spa is a joke, seriously a joke. The water is barely lukewarm, the hot tub is too small. Barely fits 5 people and you are shoulder to shoulder with the person next to you, not exaggerating, just views the photos on the website. I am not sure what the purpose of the small pool in the middle of the women's spa for, no one uses it, not big enough for an actual pool to swim in. Instead of having a useless hole/pool in the middle of the spa, remodel, and turn it into a hot tub, large enough to fit at least 5 people without having to touch shoulders. I don't understand, how management does not see these flaws. The showers need to be cleaner, you have to ask for razors, simple toiletries that are found in all "luxury" spas. The snacks are an old fruit bowl with a few items, only offer bottled water, no coffee or tea, when I was there... The steam room has a horrible odor, especially the one outside. How about some eucalyptus, s staple in a spa environment? The deluge shower is disgusting, has terrible smell, the water is recycled, germ infested... Old blow dryers, stools in the vanity area are old and uncomfortable. Clean the showers! And build a decent hot tub/spa. Spa hours, are not long enough if you are a member, most people end their workday between 5-6 p.m, not enough time to make it to the spa. The membership is not worth it when you can only use it on the weekend, due to the short weekday hours. One more thing, the lounge chair cushions in the spa and outdoor are filthy, and need to be replaced. The chair.loungers in the women quiet/relaxing room are hard and uncomfortable, not "relaxing" at all, they curve and and hurt your back... Really disappointing! read more

Please fix the phone issue, I have been going here since 2012- a lot has changed but I never had issue with like I do now when I call to book. I love Vita and would like to book her online can you update that online so we can choose the provider we want to book? I wait 30 mn to book an appointment its crazy and the phone disconnects. I love the providers Vita is the best for facial I am loyal and only see her since 2012, I noticed last time I got a facial she turned the light on in the room to do my extractions she used to have a light for that now they turn the light on why does she not have that anymore? weird. The front desk check in and check out seems to take forever. I checked in and waited 20mn to wait for someone to take me to locker room.... slow service. I had my first spa experience here this past Sunday and I wasn't too sure what to expect with there being very mixed reviews. I brought my friend here as a treat to have some R&R to top off her birthday celebration. We weren't interested in spending a lot of money so we opted into getting a day pass and used the amenities. Day passes are $55 Fri- sun and $45 on weekdays for non hotel guest. And I believe for hotel guest it's only $25. The amenities include using the locker rooms, showers fully equipped with soap and lotions, hot tub, pool, cold plunge, deluge, steam room, sauna, meditation room, and the coed pool outside. This was more than enough for us to enjoy and we stayed for almost 5 hours. Our top favorites were the eucalyptus steam room and the hot tub! Pro tip! Bring your own drinks or snacks or get something to eat in the hotel before u come. With all the relaxing your bound to get hungry and thirsty and although they do provide small water bottles and some tea it is simply not enough in my opinion. And if your thinking about ordering off the menu at the pool area beware there aren't a whole lot of free seating options and the menu is very Pricey and simply wasn't worth ordering for us. There are day beds for rent which is a bummer they aren't included with the price. All in all we got our moneys worth and had a great time for what it was, we would definitely come back again! read more

I really wanted to love the spa and enjoy my experience since I frequent Rampart but sadly this wasn't the case. First, the massage by Ayanna was one of the worst massages I've ever received. You can't even call it a massage. There was no pressure, no attempt to get out the multiple knots and tight spots that she later acknowledged. Its just a lot of flat hands moving around and wrapping you in blankets/warm towels many times.... which I could wrap myself in a blanket at home. It's a waste of money and time. Not sure how she's been there 10 years and she did hand me a card asking to review her on Yelp, so here's the review you asked for. Really, it just was a waste of 50 minutes. The crazy thing is I asked the front desk to book me with the person who utilizes the most pressure and they gave me her. The pressure was a 2 on a scale of 1-10. The problems don't stop there. In fact, they started from the moment I walked in. There's only one person at the front desk and she's too busy to handle the load. The spa room attendant was standing there but said, "I can't check you in. You have to wait for her." That was like 5 minutes. But then I'm getting rushed to disrobe and get up to my service b/c I stood there waiting for the receptionist to get off the phone. Spa attendant is very on top of it. Otherwise, the spa itself leaves much to be desired. A lot of out of order signs on showers, etc. Out of date. Pooling of water between the hot tub, cold plunge, etc. it's supposed to be relaxing but they have a giant TV blaring sports on high volume inside the spa room. No thanks. Man was this a disappointing day. Finally get a Moms only spa day and was just left so underwhelmed and disappointed. I was greeted by the front desk lady Sunday who was nice enough but as soon as she walked me into the locker room disappeared. I told her I had been once but a very long time ago and was back because I heard they remodeled. She didn't offer to show me around or anything literally disappeared. I got locked out of my locker had to wait around for staff. One of the spas wasn't working so it only left one to be super crowded inside. The outdoor pool area where we ordered some food was large but dirty / unkept. My massage was pretty bad as well...I thought my therapist was checking his phone multiple times after no hands on my body for multiple few minute segments. It was so disappointing. When I checked out, the gentleman asked me if I would like to leave an additional tip and I said I wasn't very happy with my massage services so that added gratuity already was fine. I came here through a voucher and booked 3 appointments for myself, mom, and mother-in-law. We didn't stay at the hotel and came just for the spa. I have to say, I've been to many spas: glen ivy, Venetian, and even in Switzerland. I really enjoyed this spa. They have a gym, outdoor pool area, and in the ladies section there was an ice plunge (which I've never seen before) a "lukewarm" spa and a normal hot spa. There is a sauna and steam room, meditation room and devlurge (may have forgotten what it's actually called) but it's the thing that pours tons of water pressure on you for a massage. I'm kinda short so I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought. I also had a facial. I really enjoyed everything! The company was great and the random people we talked to were all nice. This might be my top 3 experiences I've had. I like this way more than the spas on the strip. read more

After a long week, I decided to go to Spa Aquae since it's $45 Monday - Thursday. The locker room area is very spacious and you are greeted warmly by the front desk person who asks you if you need sandals or a locker and gives you a tour. I went to the indoor jacuzzi first. The jacuzzi was perfect in temperature. There is also an indoor pool, cold water pool, meditation room, a sauna, and steam room near the area. There are also showers that have intense water pressure (loved it but the water was too cool). The outdoor pool is very clean along with the lounge chairs. There was water, tea, and apples available for guests. There's also a room with a couch, a couple of chairs and a tv if you need to relax after enjoying the amenities (which is what I did). I took one star off because the indoor jacuzzi area has a very strong smell of chlorine. Great customer service! read more

Overall disappointing. Checked in and was brought to the locker room where they asked me if it was my first time there, I replied with yes, but they just showed me my locker did not show me around at all, no tour of the facilities or explanation. I get in my robe for my service not knowing where to go next and no employees to be found. Eventually someone comes to get me and I receive my facial. When the service was done I was really looking forward to using all the facility had to offer and ordering food by the pool. I got out of the pool and there were no towels and again no employees to request one. I drip dried for 30 min and eventually someone came out but by then I was dry. Then I went to order food but didn't have wifi, again tried to find an employee to ask about getting on wifi to order food and couldn't fine one! Not one outside by the pool nor inside the facility. I gave up ordering food and went to take an everything shower but couldn't find razors. When I eventually tracked someone down probably 20 min later she informs me they are out of razors. It took me 3 showers before I finally found one not slowly dripping water and had somewhat of water pressure. After my shower with my still hairy legs and can't find a brush for my hair, take another 20 min to track someone down again and what do you know, out of hair brushes too! All the little things that you would expect from a luxury spa and a day of pampering weren't there. Maybe it was an off day but a very disappointing birthday celebration to say the least. And as a local, I know of plenty of fabulous spas just down the road that have never been out of basics like towels, hair brushes, razors, and employees. read more

I called Spa Aquae to inquire if I can schedule either a day use or treatment using an old Groupon coupon with a payment value and I planned to pay the difference myself. I left 2 messages with 2 different staff members and was told the manager was going to call me back and let me know. I gave the coupon information and codes to verify it is real and the payment noted at time of purchase. Unfortunately, the promotion ended when it was bought but amount paid is still reflected on the coupon. Groupon site states, "Expired: Vouchers that have expired can still be used for their paid value if the fine print of the deal states that the amount paid never expires." In my second call, I was told the manager was at lunch and will be returning in 40 minutes. I never received a call back so I decided to call them again. I was initially placed on hold and was told my wait time was approximately 1 minute. After being on hold for approximately 3 minutes, a recording came in that said the spa was closed and to leave a voicemail message which I did. I called at 3:43 pm. The message stated the spa is open until 7 pm and their website stated 9 pm. Somehow that does not make sense. As a customer, I would like to assume that proper customer service includes addressing questions or inquiries from potential customers. I had an expectation that Spa Aquae, with a JW Marriott brand connection, has high customer standards and would be willing to address customers even if it is not a question they usually get or if they have to give the customer a not so good news. The basic idea from a customer perspective, is that a reputable establishment with a high reputation and brand such as Spa Aquae would address and communicate with potential customers. Spa Aquae - Day Spas Near Me - Las Vegas, Nevada

I brought three friends for a Monday afternoon at the spa, and we left very disappointed. While the facials and massages were enjoyable, the overall general spa service fell short. There were no attendants available for questions or assistance, and clean towels weren't available at the outdoor pool until later in the morning. The used towel bins were overflowing most of the day. We also had to keep going inside for water, as none was provided outside. The outdoor steam room was unbearably hot, causing burns on our feet and shins, so we had to leave after just two minutes (the indoor steam room was much better regulated). The outdoor seating area by the pool also had dirty cushions, making it unwelcoming. Overall, the experience was not up to the standards we expected. When we ordered $150 worth of food, it took 45 minutes for the waiter to bring it out, and even then, only three of the four meals arrived, with none of the drinks. We had to ask three more times over the next hour for the final meal, and our friend eventually had to go into the casino to get it herself. To top it off, the service charges and gratuity were added automatically, leaving us no option to tip based on the actual service we received. After the food debacle, we were never offered a discount or reimbursement. They apologized verbally, but did nothing to rectify the fact that one of our friends had to wait 2 full hours for her lunch. read more

I booked this place for an entire wedding and surprisingly it was a breeze. There were 13 of us so I booked 2 sapphire booths which came with 2 champagne bottles and two gifts for bride&groom. Cyn was so helpful throughout the process and made everything so easy especially with all the questions/changes I had. I love that in each side they have a wet&dry sauna, hot tub, cold plunge pool, meditating room, and a thing called a delunge which is essentially a pressured waterfall on you to relax. They also offer a co Ed sauna and steam room outside, and it's first come first serve on the lounge chairs. The package we I booked allowed for us to be there for 3.5hrs which is more than enough time. Plus they have everything you need to get ready afterwards. For the price that we paid, it's incredibly worth it especially compared to the ones on the strip. I'll be visiting again soon just for their day pass. read more
