The only issue came at checkout. A gift card I received around Christmas 2023 had lost value due to a monthly deduction after one year. I was visiting family and knew I needed to get this taken care of ASAP. I looked up spas that were close by and found Refresh Massage just down the street. I booked my appointment online for the following hour. When I arrived, I was greeted by Brian (?) who said Sara would be just a moment. The lobby was very clean. They have a menu of services listed along with a note of which services they do not...it was amusing and disturbing that they needed to acknowledge these "requests." Sara came out and showed me to a clean, tidy room. I wasn't sure of which service I needed and after discussing it with her it was decided that the Focus massage would be the best. She did my neck and shoulders over a thin sheet which was not uncomfortable. Towards the end she did use some oil on my neck. She used the perfect amount of pressure for me and she was very kind. When I got back to the house, my daughter mentioned that she goes to Refresh Massage and asks for Sara...She was at work when I made the appointment so I wasn't able to consult her prior. :-) I was very pleased with my experience and I would highly recommend this spa! Every massage therapist is a little different, so it might take a few tries to find your perfect fit. Some therapists like to use the lavender oil while others do not. Some have unique massage techniques too. I tried the stretch version once and personally wouldn't opt for that one again. It wasn't relaxing. I usually go for the now massage option and every therapist has been great. There are a few drawbacks. Firstly, the massage beds are in one big room separated by dividers, so you can hear even the slightest cough from the person next to you. This can really ruin a relaxing massage. To their credit, they provide earplugs and white noise machines to combat this, yet it doesn't work fully. Another thing to be aware of is that changing before and after your appointment might cut into your overall massage time. Make sure to wear something easy to change out of. Lastly, the membership fees are on the pricey side compared to others. They also charge extra for deep tissue where other places (like massage envy) include it in their monthly memberships. Overall, the NOW Massage is definitely worth trying if you're looking for a premium experience.

They sat there for 15 minutes getting me frustrated before going into my massage, that I didn't really fully enjoy . Needless to say I got a 50 minute massage I think somebody needs to fix the front end because nobody wants to get frustrated before walking into a massage is supposed to be relaxing them. While the staff has limited English, it hasn't been an issue for me since I book my appointments with an English-speaking coordinator who lets them know what I need ahead of time. We shared a room with friends, which I didn't mind, and I made sure to set the tone early by politely asking for silence; they were very respectful of that. My only real complaint is that the massage bed squeaked throughout the session the second time around, which drove me a bit crazy. I eventually managed to tune it out and relax, but I definitely wouldn't want to hear that again. I also wish they offered tea, but that's just a minor preference.
