I grew up going to summer camps here, and now I bring my daughter for swimming lessons--it's such a full-circle experience. Every visit has been incredible, whether as a kid or now as a parent. Even though the building has been around for a while, it's kept in great shape. The ambience is clean, welcoming, and family-friendly, and it really feels like a space for the whole community. The staff has always been amazing--friendly, helpful, and genuinely caring, which makes every experience that much better. One of the biggest pluses is the value. They offer so many activities at a really reasonable price, and this is definitely the place to find more discounted programs compared to elsewhere. From fitness classes and pools to kids' programs, you get so much for what you pay. Overall, the Henderson Multigenerational Center is a gem--nostalgic for me personally, but also such a reliable, affordable, and enjoyable place to bring my daughter. Highly recommend it for families and anyone looking to stay active in a welcoming environment!

Each season is beautifully done with festive displays, lights, and decorations that make you feel like you've stepped into a storybook. There's so much to do for all ages...a charming train ride through the forest, a classic carousel, the fun Avalanche Slide, and endless photo opportunities everywhere you turn. It's perfect for families, date nights, or even just a cozy night out with friends. The beer garden is a great touch for adults, while kids (and kids at heart) can enjoy hot cocoa and funnel cakes. Everything is thoughtfully laid out and keeps the energy fun and festive without feeling overwhelming. What really makes this place special is knowing that your visit supports a great cause while creating lasting memories. The staff and volunteers are friendly, and you can tell a lot of heart goes into making this event magical every year. Highly recommend making this a seasonal tradition, it's pure joy, nostalgia, and holiday spirit all in one

As seen, in my Pics The Gift Shop's items' isn't priced too badly; there were some items that I was considering, but you know how it is, after the Holidays, your bank account is pretty lean; I have a lot of people to buy for, I've got a large family. There were five Grinch- themed trees. Many of the trees were decorated very nicely. It's a beautiful sight to see. We went on the Carousel, and we did two rounds of Mini-Golf, which was fun. We also went down the Avalanche twice. Stringbean went three times. Gone are the years of seeing all of the Gingerbread Houses. Now, there are a lot of fundraising food/drink stands, I get it, it's an organization.

Let's start from the beginning, shall we? I had just given birth to my third child when my sister…read moreconvinced me to enroll my two-year-old in the "Parent & Tot Tiny Tumblers" class--which sounds intimidating, right? At the time, he was mostly non-verbal and had an intense fear of new people and places. After just a few days of what felt like pure torture--filled with non-stop tears and screams--he turned three. At age three, the kids graduate and you get to send them off to "Mr. David's Tumbling Tots." Once again, I was convinced to sign my boy, Jaxson, up. This time, it was two days a week of intense, fear-fueled tantrums. After eight months of private therapy with absolutely no progress, I was desperate. And Mr. David kept telling me, "Keep coming back." Two sessions, eight weeks, twice a week... it got to the point where other parents literally asked for my schedule so they could enroll into the opposite days. And then, Jax touched the mat. He didn't actively participate right away, but simply touching that blue mat freed mommy from the back pain of standing for 60 minutes--or playing a real-life version of Where's Waldo. (A part of me still wonders if he genuinely forgot I was hiding behind that mat, or if it was all part of his plan.) Fast-forward to the present: Jaxson is now four and a half years old, and he is the most talkative, confident, and highly coordinated little man in town. He has truly blossomed, and I owe that recognition entirely to Mr. David. After seeing Jaxson's incredible progression, I enrolled my other two "gremlins" as well. I truly cannot rave enough about how amazing of an instructor he is. Watching their confidence skyrocket, their strength increase, and their behavior improve made me think, "Hey, I could use some of that." So, yes, I joined adult gymnastics! If you are reading this and contemplating coming to this rec center, look for me. I'm the woman on the floor, or the one chasing a little blonde, curly-headed girl around who constantly gives me a run for my money. I will definitely convince you to join. By the end of a session, you honestly wonder what kind of magic Mr. David possesses to get twelve three-year-olds to actually listen. It comes down to the immense effort, compassion, and time he invests in each child. It is rare to find someone who puts their entire heart into what they do. As long as you take your child consistently, they will blossom too--I promise. My children and I are living proof. Since I am now here five days a week, I have met the entire staff, and they couldn't be more welcoming. They are genuine, good-hearted people who make the atmosphere a thousand times better, especially when your kids are acting like... well, "little angels." To me, Whitney Ranch Recreational Center has become my second home. Being here brings me so much joy, and I am incredibly grateful to have found such an amazing program and community.

They have a cute banana scavenger hunt challenge to earn 10 minutes of axe throwing. I also noticed they take donations for their smash room, which I think is neat. We visited the location on a Monday! They have $75/per person offer on Mondays to enjoy 2 activities. We chose the smash room and axe throwing, but they also have a paint room option. I have gone axe throwing before, but I like the axe throwing better at this location because they offer a variety of games to play with your group. We played and enjoyed the zombie game the most. The only reason I gave the experience 4 stars and not 5 stars is because I wish we could have thrown items against the walls in the smash room, but we were confined to the table in the center. You can also get on an old train and learn about history of Las Vegas. Outside, there is a playground, and a few animals so it kind of feels like a little mini zoo. They also have a cafe which we tried and was decent. One thing I really like is that they have different activities and workshops on certain days so it doesn't feel like you're doing the same thing every time you visit. On our last visit, they had an insect workshop with a UNLV student who taught the kids about different bugs. At the end, they got to make their own little bug hotel, really cute! They had also added a dinosaur exhibit where they had moving dinasaurs and a place where kids could draw and put it in a 3D computer and turn their drawing into a walking dinasour. Pretty cool for kids. So this is a great place to spend a few hours. It's fun and educational at the same time.

It feels like the place is being run by young employees who either haven't been properly trained in customer service or simply don't want to provide it. If you don't like dealing with customers, a customer-service job probably isn't the best career choice. It took us over 30 minutes just to find someone willing to help us redeem our arcade tickets for prizes. We asked multiple employees for assistance, and every single one seemed more interested in passing us off to someone else than actually solving the problem. Look, I get it--it's Circus Circus. The place already comes with a certain reputation. But maybe during new-hire orientation, management could dust off one of those painfully boring training videos explaining what customer service actually means. At this point, even that would be an improvement. Will I come back? Probably. I still have little kids, and they have fun here. But believe me, I yearn for the glorious day when they're grown and I can finally drive past Circus Circus without hearing, "Dad, can we go there?!" Until then, I'll be back. Reluctantly. Do a little better, Circus Circus. The kids may not notice the poor service--but the parents paying for everything definitely do.
