This is a nice little park. I liked that's it close by. It has a nice layout and lots of parking for a small park. It's well maintained there's a good amount of Bbq grills with cover over the picnic tables. The walking trail is nice my dog likes walking on it. A nice place to take the dogs for a little walk

Would highly recommend Soccer Shots if you want your kids to learn how to kick & control the ball! They teach kids how to pay attention and follow directions. Other soccer leagues have your kids run around. My daughter has done 4 seasons with them and only reason why we stopped is because we moved to southern Vegas and they are located northwest. My daughter loved coach Jayden and coach Nate.

So my wife asked me to enroll our 3yr son into soccer. This company seemed good for price. Here are…read moremy issues: 1. The very 1st day we walked on the field the coaches never came to meet the parents and just felt weird, you have to send your kid to a group of strangers without any orientation. I get it if the kids were older, but these are 3 year olds. Very awkward. 2. Weren't enough coaches to really pay attention to the kids. One practice the female coach with the long nails carried a baby the entire practice and was on her phone the entire time giving the kids things to do!!! This practice really pissed me off. I was going to say something the next practice, but someone must of complained because the following practice she had help, and wasn't holding a baby and on the phone the whole time. 3. During drills with 7-10 3 year old kids, you figure coaches can help each child individually to complete the drill. Coaches would stand there & tell them, then they would show them, but not walk them personally through it. It'd take 5 seconds to go up to each kid doing the drills and help them. They would let them try 3-5 times if they got it, they'd said great job and if not they didn't get it, they would move on to the other kid. Just really unimpressed with format, unprofessionalism. I understand it's for kids. A business is a business and should be ran right. If your dealing with kids and parents, a level of costumer service should still be provided, other then your emails of how did we do. ALSO I TOTALLY FORGOT, AT THE VERY LAST PRACTICE, THE FEMALE COACH WITH LONG NAILS CAME UP TO EVERY PARENT TO ASK WHY WE DON'T LIKE THERE PHOTOS ON SOCIAL MEDIA!!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? SHE SAID WE HAVE ALOT OF FOLLOWERS BUT NO ONE IS LIKING OUR PICTURES.. CAN YOU START TO LIKE US?!!!! Do better work and be involved and then you get more likes!! thats insane

DECEPTIVE TRADE PRACTICES!!! Do not spend a dime here or sign their waiver, which supposedly states…read morethey don't offer any refunds in the event you pre-pay for anything at their facility. I signed my son up for their summer soccer camp, which is horrendously run by the way, with no skills or drills being taught to the kids. Furthermore, my son was harassed and bullied by the manager, named Cassidy, because he was crying after I dropped him off for camp today. I called this afternoon to withdraw him from tomorrow's camp that I pre-paid for, and that's when Cassidy, informed me that they don't offer any refunds. NO WHERE on the application for soccer camp does it state that they don't offer refunds. Which is the definition of deceptive trade practices in Nevada. She told me that when I signed the waiver (for my son's birthday party LAST year - that supposedly I agreed to no refunds for ANY activities at this facility). So if you sign their waiver for a birthday party, they will refuse to give you your money back in the event you sign up for any future activities at this facility. Nevada Revised Statutes § 598.092, businesses that do not offer refunds or exchanges are legally required to inform customers by doing one of the following: Printing a statement on the face of the sales receipt. Printing a statement on the price tag. Posting a sign in an open and conspicuous place measuring at least 8 × 10 inches with boldface letters. Failure to clearly communicate a "no refunds" policy means the business could be considered guilty of deceptive trade practices. I will be filing a complaint with the Attorney General's Office for deceptive trade practices against this corrupt business.

The session is supposed to be kids only, but invariably there are 1-3 parents (usually dads) who insist on hovering over their kids and being on the field. This is disruptive to others, annoying for the coaches and worst of all it is bad for the kids they are trying to comfort. The coaches should be firm in not allowing parents onto the field for kids-only classes. The parents should realize that letting their kid figure things out and not having mommy or daddy to run/cry to is actually the best thing you can do for a toddler. Lil Kickers, please kick the helicopter parents out of the kids only classes!

I would ABSOLUTELY NOT recommend this place…read more The classes appear to be run largely by very young, inexperienced staff who did not seem particularly engaged with the children or focused on individual development. My daughter was placed in the same class four times in a row, to the point that she had aged beyond the intended age range. I was told she could not advance because she still wanted us on the field, while the next class required children to participate without parents. That reasoning did not make much sense to me. If parents are already on the field actively participating, it seems completely normal for a three-year-old to seek them out. My daughter also attends swimming lessons independently without us present and does extremely well, so we know she is capable of participating independently when that is the structure of the class. More importantly, every class was essentially identical. The coaches went through the same routine each time without much individualized instruction or attention to what each child actually needed to improve. Repeating the exact same activities over and over did not feel like meaningful coaching or development. I was also troubled by the inconsistency in how advancement appeared to be handled. I watched boys move on to the next class even though they also frequently relied on their parents and had regular tantrums during class. Whether intentional or not, the inconsistent standard felt unfair and raised concerns for me about how advancement decisions were being made. When I finally asked to register her for the age-appropriate class, the manager I spoke with was extremely rude and dismissive rather than trying to understand the concern or work toward a solution. For the price they charge, I expected experienced coaches, thoughtful instruction, consistent standards, and professional customer service. Unfortunately, that was not our experience.

Id like to be able to give a good review to an organization that is geared around helping kids play…read morea sport and become more enthused about the game but unfortunately the AYSO in this region sets themselves up for a lot of disappointed players and parents. After coaching for 6 seasons I finally had to leave when the league decided to go against their own "volunteer" policy and require the parents from all teams be required to ref in a certain amount of games or the kids team would not be eligible to play in the play off games. Unfortunately this happened in the final season I coached and we had a number of very disappointed 11 year olds because unfortunately the parents all had busy schedules and were unable to do the required amount of class room training and then the refereeing of the games. This was never told to us prior to the players signing up so obviously the kids were crushed because of it. So if you do sign up prepare to do some additional work whether you decided to volunteer or not. The other problem was that there was a serious lack of communication as far as scheduling but mainly between the refs and the coordinators as far as the rules went. I had a one on one discussion with the coordinator over the phone who plainly did not even know the AYSO stance on handballs and after arguing with me for over an hour I sent him an email with he national rule on the subject showing him that he was mistaken in his definition. Instead of trying to fix the problem I was completely ignored and never heard back from him again. Needless to say as the following season progressed a number of other rules were misinterpreted and ignored because of whomever the refs and coaches were taught by, the rules were different. I applaud everyone that did volunteer for the positions because yes as a coach for the league there is a lot of work that goes into it but you can't fill in coaches, players and parents on additional rules after signups are over and after teams are made. I honestly hope this region gets everything figured out and organized a little better so they won't continued to have the same problems year in and year out. Once everyone found out about the rules that were made a number of parents decided to go to other leagues, myself included, where things seem much better with a number of other activities that the kids can be involved in. The application I even signed up for even had in quotes "no forced volunteers". I left with a number of other families very disappointed with how this was all run. So to whomever is reading these posts I truly hope you guys fix the problem because there are too many families that are jumping ship because of the rules you are setting forth. Best of luck.

I have found her to be unprofessional, lacking in management skills, and dictatorial in her approach. She is also very poor at communicating with parents and players. I have read several other reviews of AYSO 1258 under Wilkinson's leadership, and they all share the same sentiments. I am concerned that her behavior is damaging the reputation of AYSO and that she is not providing the best possible experience for the children who participate in the program. I urge AYSO National Headquarters to investigate this matter and take appropriate action to address the concerns that have been raised. Giving a 1 star to AYSO 1258 under Wilkinson's leadership is not even worth it.
