Chris scheduled a pool repair for me at my new house and did not show up, at all. I sent a text asking what happened and got no response back. I called back from a different number the next day and a woman answered and said they did not show up because they were not paid. My experience with paying people is that they would need to come out and perform the work before this happens, so the confusion only adds up. They only seem interested in big pay days, and if you need a basic repair, they will not show up or even notify you. Oh yeah, and then they blame you because they have challenges showing up on time. Chris will come across like a "nice guy from Utah, running a family business", but please don't be fooled. If they don't want to show up, they won't. I reall like supporting small businesses, but this one doesn't care about wasting your time. Please avoid at all costs. See picture below of the photos I texted to them a few weeks back, my question about why they never showed up, and that they NEVER RESPONDED back, as I already mentioned. Sorry, they're lying. The Morrison team seemed very knowledgeable and responsive in our early communications and they did an overhaul on our above ground spa which looked beautiful and everything seemed to be working well when they left. They convinced me to switch to bromine for sanitization, and said they could come monthly for maintenance. Made an appointment with them to come out early May and they cancelled and haven't heard from them since despite my efforts to reach out. Great potential for this team, but they seemed to have disappeared. Value? I think they were somewhat expensive. However, it's nearly impossible to find anyone in Las Vegas to work on above ground Catalina Spas. I would never ever purchase a Catalina Spa because once you've paid the bill for your spa, customer service disappears too. read more

I've never had service done with this company. However, their customer service is 5 star!! They responded almost immediately. They gave me very helpful information. They were professional and polite. Very patient as well because I had a bunch of questions, in which they answered all of them with no problem. Maybe good with pool cleanings etc. but not adequate at fixing pool heaters and they charged us 3X for parts. Chris and Amber arrived at 5pm on March 31st 2020, and spent two ours troubleshooting the problem with our pool heater that wasn't igniting. First thing they checked was the pool filters which we all agreed needed to be replaced, and they agreed that they will give us the parts at cost so we didn't question the fact that they were charging us $110 per filter, coming to $440 for the 4 (refer to photo, they are $150 for all 4 from Amazon). They also said that we might need to replace the ignitor but can only know that for sure after they change the filters. Next day they came, installed the filters. Then they said the ignitor needs to be replaced and that it was definitely the problem. They charged us $155 for the ignitor (refer to the photo, it costs $40 on Amazon) and again said they will give it to us at cost and provide us with receipts and a warranty. I agreed since I didn't know better. After installing the new ignitor, they said that the System Control Module also had to be replaced because it was the only other explanation for the heater still not working. Again promised the part at cost and charged me $415 (refer to photo, $150 from Amazon). After another hour of not getting it to work they said that it is a gas problem and it is out of their hands. They wrote up hand written receipts without giving me the actual receipts and warranties for the products they installed, so it was the first time I thought something was fishy. I called the gas company and they came out immediately confirming it was not a gas problem and that the gas worked perfectly. The gas company then pointed out that Chris left the ignitor unplugged (so we never even needed the new $415 control module they scammed us out of). After my husband plugged the ignitor in the heater fired up and worked. At the end of the day they did not fix our problem and lied to us about pricing, which I looked up online after they would not provide me with the actual receipts (I also confirmed the online prices are accurate with local pool suppliers), therefore I would not recommend them for fixing your pool heater and therefore the 1 star. They looked like such nice people so goes to show, do your own homework before taking someone's word. I hate writing bad reviews but it is a honest review. Response to your response: Your words were you will give them to us at cost. Your words Amber. We asked and you said "yes you only make money from the labor"!!! I also asked if I could get the actual receipts before we agreed to you buying the parts and you agreed. Chris then said over the phone last night that ok he wasn't 100% honest and he did make about $20 off this and $40 off that etc. which we wouldn't mind if you made some money off the parts, but you lied and a local supplier can give me the same products you installed for the same price as the online prices. I WOULD NEVER agree to your prices if I knew the facts but you were openly deceitful saying they are at cost and you're getting us the absolute best deal. The online parts are EXACTLY the same parts you installed. You never offered a partial refund, if so then write that down in words and I will rethink my reviews but that is also a lie. We DO NOT expect a full refund, we are not unfair but not going to let it slide when getting lied to to our faces. Sorry to have to says this, but I hired them to check out my hot tube and they came and review the trouble with the tube. After a half hour or so he told me the problem was the main circuit board and they would try to find one locally. They found a supplier in LV but I found one in CA at a lower price so I purchased it myself and installed myself. After the board was in the spa did the same thing, shutting down. The a complete check by turning things on and off, found the real problem and it was the heater all along. So I neer had to by the circuit board which was $1046.00. Installed a new heater at the price of $278.00 and the problem has been fixed, have my hot tube back, with really no thanks to Morrison read more

I wish I could give 100 stars, this company is amazing. Chris and Amber have installed a new salt system, a new filter, a heater for my pool and most recently found and fixed 5 leaks in my spa pipes. My 20 year old pool was leaking from the spa. Once Chris got to the pipes he realized whomever built the pool had laid the pipes in cement . Any other company would have RUN when they saw that mess but not Chris and Amber. They worked day and night graciously chipping away at the cement mess for almost a week and got to where they could repair the pipes. The service I received from them was the best service I have ever received from any company. I will continue to use Morrison Pool as long as I own a pool. These people are professional, courteous, and know their business. I live in a small town without reliable pool and spa repair people. My pool had was losing water. After being misdiagnosed twice and having two companies not return my calls or emails I was frustrated. I contacted numerous companies and finally found Chris and Amber Morrison. They had no problem coming here from Las Vegas. They gave me written estimates and receipts. They guessed the reason for my pool losing water and told me how to make sure. They then came and did the repair and checked the pool for possible other problems. They went over and beyond my expectations and were wonderful people to deal with. If I could give 0 stars, I would. During my initial phone conversation with Chris (the owner), I asked him for his professional opinion on how long the install would take. He said for an 18' above ground pool, 8 to 10 hours. We discussed that my yard was already pretty flat. At $95 an hour, that seemed reasonable. So his quote was for between $760-$950. I scheduled an appointment then kept in touch to see if there was anything I could do ahead of time to keep costs down. He told me to have sand delivered, which I did and informed him it was in my driveway and ready. This is where things got a little weird. He told me it should've been delivered to the backyard and that he'll have to buy wheelbarrows now?!? ..... Also he scheduled for between 1pm - 3pm which I thought left too little time for an 8-10hr install but I figured he knew what he was doing. The day of, he shows up, just him and some little chick. She has a binder in her arm and they start saying it's going to cost $2400!!! That the ground work is extra! The price he told me is just to ERECT the actual pool!!! I told them to leave and the chick actually squared up on me (I'm 51). I almost called the police, Chris (the owner) was trying to argue the entire time till I slammed the door. Chris and Amber came out to fix 2 check valves. They said they felt sorry for all the bad pool companies I had in the past that did bad work. HUH!!! They messed up my equipment. It leaks all over. Was having issues with our hot tub, called Morrison and they came out to service the tub. Well, first visit, no fix but did charge, had to get a part. Second visit, no fix but did charge and had me pre-pay for another part they needed. Third visit, no fix and had me order an expensive main board from Amazon, you guessed it, no work. So I sent that board back. Then they found the right board at a local spa shop and asked me to get it and they would install. So I did, $750 worth of main board. Then, no answer from them, tried and tried, no answer, they just dropped off the planet. So I called the same shop that sold me the board to come install it. Well, guess what they found? The very first repair that Morrison made was a shoddy fix and caused to issue I was having. Now, no doubt it was bad when Morrison "fixed" it, but they did not fix it. Now, I can't get my money back on that $750 main board. So all in all, I am out better than $1200 for a fix that they should have gotten right off had they been more competent. read more

I had a large blockage in my vac line that I couldn't get out myself. They came in and knocked it free in an hour to get me up and running again.
