We had the pleasure of working with Trinity and his contractors in 2018. The design process took about a month as I kept changing a few details in the design, but Trinity was very patient and provided great feedback including many iterations of quotes, drawings and videos. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable of the entire process from design concept through excavation and construction to finished product. He also supervised every phase in the process stopping in almost everyday to ensure the contractors were on track and in line with his expectations. It is apparent he's done this for many years and has a lot of passion for it. Everything he promised as far as quality, design, features he recommended and most importantly timing, he delivered. This was our first pool build and he made us feel comfortable from start to finish. Being it was our first year at this house, we hosted Christmas holiday and had guests from out of town including kids. I was concerned they would not finish our backyard in time. He completed the project on time and with a few days to spare. From excavation to completion, it took about 8 weeks. I was also adamant about using a tile for the waterline they've never used before, they made it happen and it turned out beautifully. The contractors he works with were all respectful, professional, communicative and cleaned up well after themselves. There were a few issues I had with the water pots and plaster, which he took care of immediately even months after the pool was completed. He was very helpful throughout and after the process. He followed up for months afterwards to ensure we understood how to maintain our brand new pool and were happy with the finished product. One time, I saw him in my backyard spraying water on concrete after gunite at 7 in the morning. He always made sure the pool was getting build perfectly. Only thing, it took longer than we thought because we had tremendous amount of caliche rocks to break. Ron said he never saw this much caliche before. (He's been in this business more than 40 years.) We went through several pool companies to determine who would be best for the job. Ultimately, Artistic pool what's the best choice for us. Our decision was based on who had the best customer service, pre-installation communication, pool industry knowledge and of course price. After looking around and getting quotes from multiple companies we decided to go with Artistic Pools & Spa. Our decision was made with ease after we realized that most pool companies will have one person sell you the pool and design and a completely different person runs your project. To us that practice did not seem like the choice that would work, as we like to see and be very involved with people we trust. Artistic pools takes a different approach that separates them from the industry in the sense that the same sales person that designs and sell you the pool, also coordinates the entire project of the build from start to finish. This was a key feature that made our decision easier. We initially met with Nathan Turner and he explained the way he would be not only the person that designed the pool we envisioned, but also the project manager and main POC throughout the entire build. He was super nice and informative from the start. We appreciated his honesty and the fact that at no point did he ever steer us in the direction where the price of the pool would go beyond what we intended to spend. Factors like those were vital and helped our decision to choose this company, despite the fact that they were not the cheapest option, nor the most expensive either, so their pricing model is very fair. Now, on to the good stuff, the build process. Sitting down with Nate to build the design was fun and informative and he always gave us great advice when it came to what we needed and what we did not. We decided to go with a free form pool that would have a wet deck, a bubbler, raised water fall feature that fell to an underwater 6ft bench. Once the design was settled, Nate started working on the permits with the City and provided the necessary supporting documentation to process with our HOA. This was about a 1.5 month process for us, mainly due to HOA. On Presidents Day weekend 2018, the exciting part of the process began. We were out of town that weekend so Nate Facetimed us and he outlined the pool design on our backyard, so that we could make any final changes before the excavation began. We had nothing to add or change from the original design so the excavation began. Nate was very honest from the start and made clear that although, most of the prices negotiated in the contract were set in stone (no pun intended), the only exception would be if we encounter any CALICHE ROCK. We had originally included 2 hours in our initial contract. Nate was very upfront and stated that was one of those things that could drive our price up, so knowing that allowed us to budget some extra money as the excavation of this Rock can cost about $250/hr. We were lucky enough that although we hit Caliche, we did not exceed above the 2hrs that were already included, but just knowing this upfront thanks to Nate, alleviated any unexpected surprises that we could have had had we encountered excess amount of this rock. After excavation was done, the rest of the steps in the build process went relatively smooth. As always, with a multi-step project like this and weather like what we get in Las Vegas in Feb-April with high winds, we ran into some really minor scheduling issues, but Nate once again proved his expertise every step of the way be ensure we hit our main milestones and never missed a beat or an inspection. We originally started the build process the 3rd week of Feb and they were able to get all the moving parts together and active by the 3rd week of April. They stated our entire build process could take between 8-10 weeks, and they were spot on as we were able to complete our in 8 weeks. By the time Cinco De Mayo rolled around, we were able to use and really test our pool. We did run into a minor issue with the electric circuit that runs our pool equipment and upon informing Nate about it he had the electrician return to fix the issue. After this we continued to enjoy the pool for about a month and then we noticed an issue with one of our water features that seemed to have a leak. I called Nate again and his response was second to none as expected. He came out and checked the issue himself, then after they began he began getting folks out to find and fix the root of the problem. After a few tries they were able to find and fix the issue and we have not had any additional issues after that. We went the entire summer to this day enjoying and using the pool. I give this company 5 stars because although we experienced minor setbacks, the end result and response, in our opinion was exceptional. The thorough attention we received from Nate and Wade, was beyond phenomenal. For being first time pool owners, Nate helped us understand and learn a lot of the things that would be involved in our experience and those kinds of interpersonal skills are certainly appreciated. We would recommend this company to anyone, and as of matter of fact we know one of our friends just contracted them to build a pool for them. read more

From the beginning Artistic Pool was amazing. We bought our home in August 2017 and we are commuting back and forth from the Seattle area. We only had a certain window of time to get a design and everything started before we went back to Seattle. We reached out to 3 different Pool Companies all 3 responded within a reasonable time but only 2 followed through with appointments and only 1 (artistic pools) came through with a design and a bid with a start date that I was THRILLED with. Not only did Nate the designer stay in communication at all time, he over saw every part of the build for us, he stopped at the house regularly and too picture's and video of the progress. We never had to worry while we were away. Completion was done first week of December on time and on budget with exceeding our expectations. We had an awesome experience with this company. They were always on time, cleaned up after themselves, everything was done as promised, and the quality of their work was superb. We worked with Trinity (which was the main contractor) and he was excellent with communicating back and pretty much took care of everything (permits and meetings) Everything was included (landscape and pergola) so we didn't have to work with other contractors. We had a little mis communication with the Landscape permit (HOA just wanted more money), but Trinity and the guy in charge of landscaping took care of it at the end. We had a really good experience with Artistic Pools. We met with Dan (designer) for our initial consult. He worked with us to design exactly the pool and spa that we wanted. He was very helpful (while not being pushy) in making suggestions that he thought would improve functionality and aesthetics. He met with us multiple times to make sure we got the design just right. And also communicated back and forth with us via email to make adjustments to the design. We had gotten quotes from a handful of other top pool builders in town. When it comes to a pool and spa, I truly believe you get what you pay for...so we didn't want to go with a discount builder where we could potentially have serious problems down the road. While they weren't the cheapest, they also weren't most expensive and we were really happy with the design we created with Dan. We started building in May 2017 and they finished in just over 10 weeks! Pretty great if you ask me! Would've been 9 weeks but our we had a 1 week delay because of our pool tile. During the building process Wade (the owner, Ron's son) came over several times per week to check on the process. On a personal level, I really like Wade. He is very easy going and we had several good conversations. He never over promised nor underdelivered. The only suggestion I would make is to have some kind of schedule of stages so that the homeowner knows what subcontractors to expect next and follow along with the progress. Especially outlying the stage or date by which the homeowner needs to select a pool tile, or have the girls in the office call the homeowner to remind or verify the tile selection has been made. This review is long overdue. We had our pool built starting the end of 2017 and finished around spring 2018. We have been dealing with Nate Turner from the beginning and to this date with any issues with our pool. Nate is very responsive and professional, he went above and beyond than what was expected. We trusted him with his suggestions and what's best for us. We mainly felt comfortable with the process Artistic Pool & Pool, because you only deal with one person from the beginning to the end. He did the designs, quote, setup all the dates, came to check out the progress, and any issues we had it was fixed asap. We did have some issues along the way. Not Nate's fault. Examples: The back of our land is higher than the rest of our house (we have to raise the back of the pool), over 30 hrs of caliche (couple of weeks delayed), it happened to rain a lot (delayed couple more weeks) and from the tractor coming in and out of the side of our land was super muddy and it got messed up. Also, our gate was another issue a few times, not sure why but it was causing a lot of noise after it was reinstalled. Nate took care of us very well. We were thinking with all these issues how much more do we have to put out. The 30+ hrs of caliche digging was unexpected. We already went way over our budget and with the caliche... we almost canceled everything. But Nate worked with us, we're very happy with our pool. The only thing not happy with is the spider cracks on our wet deck. It was there from the beginning after the water was filled in, there has to be a better way to do this part in my opinion. It looks awful. We were told to sand it out. It's not a small part either. We recently had to reach out to Nate about the pool light. It was flickering, then not working. He had the office reach out to me the next day and had warranty called me to setup a date. It was fixed within a week. We also had Nate recommended a pool guy too. We have salt water and the current one we had was awful. They changed all of our settings Nate had in there and clearly didn't know how to deal with saltwater. Overall, we're very happy we chose Artistic Pool & Spa. We recommended them to our friends and they got their pool thru Nate as well. The communication is crystal clear and you're in good hands with Nate. If we get another house, we would use Nate again. Just wanted to comment on one negative review they received on here. It was our jerk neighbor who called the city on us 3 times thru the process of us getting our pool done. Complaining we were loud....we remembered about 3 weeks before we started our pool, they were the noisy one for about 2 weeks getting their basic sad landscape done. I should have called the city on them. They dare to report us for not having a permit! They shouldn't be able to leave a review. read more

We were so lucky to have worked with Artistic Pool & Spa! We received quotes from other contractors in the area, but know we made the right decision to work with Artistic Pool & Spa. From conception to reality, we worked with Trinity - who was an absolute delight. This was our first time building a pool and the experience was phenomenal - we always felt that we were being communicated to honestly, and often, which was reassuring and very much appreciated. We had quite the challenge for whomever we selected - come in on time, at or below budget (which was tight and we knew it). Additionally, my husband and I had slightly different visions of the final product. I envisioned a tropical, resort-style oasis (in the middle of the desert ;) ) and my husband wanted a fun area to entertain as well as share & create memories for us and the kids for years to come. This made it challenging for all involved, but talking through each of the decisions and the ability to see renderings and a 3D modeling was of great assistance. I can only imagine the patience it took to deal with some of our requests, but it never seemed that we were a burden to Trinity. Trinity was available anytime, 24/7... literally. He answered any and all questions in a timely matter, provided samples when we were unsure, came on-site a number of times to help us visualize, and provided any information that was ever requested. There were a more than a few occasions that due to our schedules, it required later evening meetings and Trinity was always available. Additionally, he was always on-site to make sure that everything was getting built to spec and met our expectations. It was refreshing working with someone who would not only provide their professional, but personal opinion, when asked. There were some questions we had in regards to equipment, finishing work, etc. and we 100% trusted Trinity and all of his experience and guiding us in the right direction because he understood what we wanted. I can imagine that building a pool can be a very frustrating experience, but Trinity and the team at Artistic Pool & Spa made it easy, fun & rewarding! There are so many decisions to be made and being able to rely on a contractor (because they understand what you want) was of such great help. All of the employees and contractors that were brought it for various portions - water slide, outdoor kitchen/bbq area, electrical, pool gate, outdoor patio (alumiwood), landscaping were great to work with as well. Sitting poolside listening to the waterfall drinking my cup coffee is a dream come true. Everything that we envisioned became reality. There are many options out there but very few deliver exactly what they say and plan. Trinity was with us every step of the way. Regardless the time of day, he always answered. Reading some horror stories online can make you nervous but what we experienced was the total opposite. Our beautiful pool and spa was completed in 7/8 weeks. When I first agreed to relocate from "Hot"lanta to even hotter Vegas, there was one stipulation: pool. I had to have one. So, shortly after arriving, pool procurement commenced. As with any home contracting project, searching for the right fit of value and quality is challenging and...well, interesting. We met with a wide cast of characters from the sketchy pushy overpromiser to the slick high-dollar coolio. Neither extreme is safe in my opinion, so I was very happy when we found Artistic Pools. It is a father-son company, and both father and son are fun, easy people to work with. And, I am the first to admit that my husband and I are demanding consumers. From the beginning, Ron (the father) listened to our budget concerns, and he didn't try to make any excuses about why a rectangle pool would cost more than an amoeba-shaped one. Our pool was completed on schedule and exactly how we asked for it. In fact, Ron had higher expectations than we did. When the tile contractor installed the tiles on the steps a little crooked, Ron made them come back, pay to drain and refill the pool and fix their mistake. Besides that little hiccup, all of the contractors that worked with Ron did a terrific job. We actually ended up hiring the concrete guy to pour our entire patio. Plus, they made sure we were all set when the pool was finished. They helped us buy a huge bucket of affordable chlorine tablets. I couldn't have asked for anything better, and now that it's 110 outside, I am appreciating Artistic's work daily. read more

Artistic was recommended to us by a neighbor who had used them and we decided to go with them. What a great decision! Wade came over and looked at our back yard, which resembled a "moonscape". We talked about our needs and he came back with a design. After our initial discussion, my husband and I decided we didn't want a full-blown pool with a spa, but rather a large spa/small pool combo. We called Wade and explained our change and he had to go back to the drawing board. He did so with enthusiasm and developed a great design that matched what we envisioned. He reviewed all the options with us and helped us understand the implications (both fiscal and practical) of decisions, given that we'd never been pool owners before. The pricing was reviewed thoroughly and we had no surprises. All our questions were answered and fully explained. Construction was within the amount of time estimated even though we had a few unusual rain delays. The subcontractors used by Artistic were very professional and did their jobs with quality workmanship. Wade or Rick were there almost daily to ensure all was done correctly. We had several questions after the initial install and all were resolved quickly. We are super pleased with our spa/pool and look forward to many years of enjoyment using it. Great Service! Ron and Wade did my pool in 2002 and it's still running strong. Any time I have maintenance issues, I call them and they're quick to respond. They're extremely honest telling me when parts are under warranty and giving me the contact information. as opposed to getting the part and charging me to install it. In 2010 I had them do a pool check-up on everything. There were some minor things that were needed to keep my pool at 100% which I thought was great. I appreciate their honesty and hard work. We worked with Ace from beginning to end. We had two rounds of design discussions. He has plenty of experience to take in the stated requirements and interpret those into several alternative designs that are very helpful to review and focus in on what is really important vs. nice to have. He uses a 3d modeling environment for all the designs that makes it easy to visualize the end result, including landscaping. After we got stuck following the first round of design, I ended up providing some rough sketches of what we would like to try. Rather than just taking my sketches and providing an identical design, he used my sketches as a starting point to come up with several variations on the key themes in my sketches. He came up with a really great option that was able to incorporate everything we wanted in ways we hadn't thought about. Pricing was clear, itemized and above board. I'm sure there are less expensive options and cheaper approaches but I wanted a company that could handle everything and provide some accountability to the outcomes. Ace assured me he would make sure we are happy with the end result. Construction started quickly and proceeded consistently without any abnormal or major delays. He estimated ~3 months from beginning to end and that was where we pretty much ended up. The sub contractors Artistic used were professional and efficient and Ace was onsite almost anytime contractors were at the home to make sure they understood the design requirements and were properly completing the work. We opted to have Artistic handle the pool and landscaping together. We're very happy with the end result. The design blends into our overall architecture with landscaping that matches the front of the home. We were able to accommodate a dog run and a great selection of plants that really turn the backyard into an oasis in the desert. It's very rare to order something and have the result look exactly like the original design / picture but our backyard looks every bit as good as the original design and visualizations. We've only been up and running for ~2 months now so I can't speak yet to their after construction / warranty support but I also don't have any reason to believe they would not be professional and service-oriented. While sitting in our chaise lounges next to the pool, we were contemplating where we might go for Spring Break. With a back yard like this and a pool that is super fun for adults, kids and teenagers . . . we decided the best place for Spring Break is the back yard. Now if I can just get the dog to stop digging up the irrigation bubblers, but that's my problem. Artistic did everything they said they would and we love the result. read more

Trinity was our point person and he kept us in the loop on everything in real time. He's also in the field and is present when your pool is built. He's not a sales guy dressed up in suit and tie pretending he's an expert. He actually IS an expert. Short version: We paid what I thought was a reasonable amount for an awesome pool / hardscape / landscape combo that we love. I would not hesitate to use Artistic again and recommend them to everyone who asks. My wife and I built a new house in Providence (northwest area of Las Vegas) and had a dirt lot to work with. We had some ideas about what we wanted to do back there, but weren't entirely convinced we were going to go in the right direction since this was something completely new to us. After some preliminary investigation by my wife I reached out to 6 different companies who listened patiently while I laid out our initial ideas. Ron (the owner) was the only one of those who had his own ideas about what was possible in our blank canvas. I told him I wasn't entirely convinced but would love to see the design they came up with. When I went into the office I was told I'd be working with Ace as he was the one who put together our design. I tried to remain poker faced but I think they knew how excited I was about what they put together. Step one, the design, was great. The price seemed reasonable and was within the price range that I expected (hint: building a pool is expensive). We iterated a bit, my wife and I chose the options important to us, and we decided to go ahead with Artistic. After permits were issued and plans approved, the build started nearly immediately. There were a couple bumps the first few days because their subcontractor's dump truck for the dig out was broken down, but everything proceeded smoothly after that. We were given clear indications of when payment would be due and, because we always paid promptly, work continued without interruption. I think we ended up finishing 2-2.5 weeks ahead of schedule. Our backyard is beautiful and we are constantly being complimented on it by anyone who comes by. The work was completed on-time, on-budget, and wholly professionally. I would definitely work with them again. One other note that I think is important to mention. My wife and I were in a unique situation in that my wife was back in the midwest taking care of family with some health issues. She was not available for the consults with the six companies that I invited out. Artistic and one other company were the only ones who would provide me renderings to show my wife and they argue with me about it because they saw the situation for what it was. The other four companies were immediately disqualified because there was no way i would make a decision to spend $65k+ on something without being able to talk through the options with my partner. I am currently watching the impossible being done in my back yard: my own residential lazy river. And the experience has been wonderful so far. The plumbing and electrical are being finished today. There's a long way to go because of its size, but the owner of the company, Wade, has become like a brother to me. I can't say enough good things. I feel valued and listened to, with every step. I wouldn't even consider another company. My project is bigger than most, and Wade has never done this before. But he has stayed on top of every possible pitfall and takes great pride in how this is going to look and work. I think this will be the start of lazy rivers becoming a real possibility for regular people who don't just want a simple pool. read more

Our experience with Artistic Pool & Spa was amazing! We needed to have our 20 year old pool re-plastered and decided we wanted to add an in ground spa and above ground water slide for the kids. We met with several pool companies including Artistic. All of the other pool companies had a poor, "I'm not sure if this is possible" attitude when it came to adding the spa. When Trinity from Artistic Spa walked in and we explained what we wanted to do, his response was, "We add in-ground spas often and this will not be a problem". Artistic's final price for everything was the most competitive, they took the most time with us, met us at stone yards to review decking materials, and reviewed our project as a whole and not just the re-plastering and added spa and slide. Trinity didn't think the location of our existing skimmer box was right as it was the first thing you saw when you approached the pool so he had his crew relocate it at no cost. When they laid out the new spa location he oversaw the layout to make sure it was within scale of our existing pool and made sure the spa did not look like it was added after the fact. When we tell people who come over that we added the spa their reaction is great as they say there is no way they could see that the spa was added later with the way the spa just blends right in and spills into the existing pool. Also the kids LOVE LOVE the water slide!! I would recommend Artistic Pool & Spa to everyone and would definitely use them again in the future if the need arises! read more
