I am an information nerd and Alan was there for it with patience and good nature. He even was cool with me changing my mind on tile and on plaster, multiple times!! Never a problem. Pricing was in the middle, not the cheapest and not the highest, Every crew who performed the backbreaking hard work involved did so with pleasant and respectful attitudes. they even seemed to enjoy the work. Any little detail I wanted addressed was done so without protest. I love the job they did. When I see other peoples' projects in my facebook group, some of them nightmares, I am doubly happy I chose Pacific Plastering. No complaints. They even added jewels and abalone for free and weren't stingy. The abalone is magic. Other companies charge and overcharge for these add ins. I highly recommend them. FYI-I inquired with several local pool companies, all with good reviews, to have my large pool replastered and retiled. I got either no response or a quick visit and assessment with promises of estimates most of which only arrived weeks later than when they said they would provide them.. The company I was encouraged to go with by my pool maintenance people, after a couple of week and no responses to texts, provided an estimate that must have taken 5 minutes. No information regarding plaster or other options. Another one added equipment I already had and did not request to replace to the tune of 70,000 dollars. They must have assumed I was stupid. All of the others made me well aware that I really wasn't important to them. Alan was the opposite, always there for me.

Alan was outstanding with communication always responsive and incredibly patient, even as I asked countless questions and voiced concerns throughout the process. I'll admit, I probably wasn't the easiest client, especially since I was managing this remodel while overseas. But Alan was incredible. He kept me informed every step of the way, consistently sending updates and photos of the progress. I researched many companies in Las Vegas, and I'm so glad I chose Pacific Pool Plastering. As someone who's extremely particular, I can confidently say they delivered a high-quality project and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. I will definitely use them again for my other properties and highly recommend them for your future pool remodel. Thank you, Pacific Pools and especially Alan for your exceptional work and outstanding customer service!

Last July, we hired Refresh Pool to resurface our swimming pool. The finish was covered by a 7-…read moreyear warranty and was also treated with the Microglass Plaster Densification Systems, which was represented as extending the life of the surface to approximately 10-15 years. Less than one year after the work was completed, significant discoloration appeared on the pool steps. Given the short age of the re-surfacing, we contacted the company and requested that the issue be addressed under warranty. The company informed us that they believed the discoloration was caused by pool chemistry and therefore declined responsibility for the problem. The company also suggested that a chlorine floater had remained on the pool steps for an extended period of time and caused the discoloration. However our floater is too long to hover over the step. Because we questioned that explanation, we sought additional opinions. We consulted staff at Leslie's Pool Supply. They advised us that, based on the information we provided, normal pool chemicals would not typically be expected to cause this type of discoloration. We also observed our pool service technician perform water testing, and the results were reported to be within normal ranges. While we understand that opinions may differ, we were disappointed that the company dismissed the warranty claim and attributed the issue to pool chemistry despite the information we obtained from other sources. We hired this company because of its reputation, warranty, and promises regarding the durability of the finish. Unfortunately, our experience with the warranty process has been very disappointing. We paid them over $24000- in this pool resurface project, including the upgraded finish and additional treatment that was represented as extending the life of the surface. Given the size of the investment, we were very disappointed to see significant discoloration appear in less than one year. This review reflects our personal experience.

No integrity and shady. After taking time off work to meet with Scott Hill, owner, to get an…read moreestimate for deck repairs, he also offered other services that we needed. After sending the estimate to only 1 Board Member of the Association. They refused to send it to the other 2 for review. I received a return phone call from Melissa who said they are retracting the bid. I believe this is an inside SCAM. I will be filing a complaint with the State of Nevada Contractors Board as well. Update: Scotts reply is inaccurate: 1 Awesome Pool Solution retracted the bid when it was requested to be provided to all board members. They are clearing hiding details regarding that bid from the rest of the board. The solution is to send the bid to everyone. Apparently there is something "Shady". Avoid this company at all costs. 2nd Update: Again Scotts reply is inaccurate. The main reason his company was contacted was for deck repairs. Therefore the comment "to pull a permit for work completed by another party" is false. No deck repairs have been completed by any company. This back and forth is proof they have no integrity. I will get to the bottom of this "shady" behavior or perhaps the State Contractors Board will do the honors. Please dont waste your time with this company.

The team of multiple suppliers did a satisfactory job on work, including the acid wash, calcium…read moreremoval, rebar, water replacement, and Pentair re-wiring. However, the company struggles with organization on medium-sized projects, particularly regarding supplier coordination and communication. Customer service with Melissa did not meet expectations, as I had to proactively follow up via text and web messaging to get answers. I was also disappointed when Scott, who was a key reason I chose this company, became defensive instead of understanding challenges and the sequence-of-events. I had to manage and seek when vendors were coming out and when they arrived in the wrong order and at the wrong time. The pool materials was left out and the pool was left without chemicals and filter running with fresh water for 1.5 weeks. While I recognize it wasn't their responsibility to add chemicals; it should have been communicated and at least in working condition but they didn't want to come out again after they refilled the pool until Pentair technician came out to avoid another trip. While they pointed to my schedule, I was only referring to the programming portion as I communicated, not the critical need to get the system running immediately after filling the pool. I understand everyone is busy, but I suggest Scott seeks to understand the client's perspective before responding in such a manner to get folks on the same page. A positive shout-out to Lee, who is a Pentair whiz and was super helpful.
