There was a two week delay on delivery. That was a disappointment because I had family from out of town and they missed the fun. Sunset Spas did give us extra chemicals for the spa for the inconvenience. I'm doing this review now because after having the spa for three weeks there was a mechanical issue with the spa ( it did not prevent me from using the spa) and I wanted to see the outcome of that first. Keith is who handled the mechanical issue, he is great! They use a third party (ag Spas for the warranty and maintenance). Keith was terrific at keeping me updated and informed. ag Spas wasn't too proactive so I would just let Keith know and he made it HAPPEN! It did take them three visits to get the mechanical issue solved, but having some understanding of the issue I can see why. I have to say ag Spa's maintenance guy is great and very informative. The repair was done under warranty and went very smooth. Our Spa has been 100% operational for a while now. We are enjoying it and loving it.

His communications skills are absolutely on point, you will not be confused or lost during the conversation. To start off, I personally wanted a regular inground Spa, but my wife insisted on an inground Swim Spa. Mike guided us the best way possible and showed us options and explained everything in detail and asking us if we understood or had questions. Honestly I didn't have many key questions, because I in the past was about tp purchase a pool and a jacuzzi and that was going to run $60,000 versus a Swim Spa which is legit half the price and one day install. The fact that I did my research on both options and pools tend to cost more in the long run versus a swim spa, we decided swim spa. Mike upon this was up front about pricing, install, and what he can and cannot do. Mike was very patient with us and showed us various designs and differences between the models. Overall Mike was down to earth easy to understand and talk with, kind of like a family friend who came to visit. I've owned 3 pools (2 in NV & 1 in FL) but I've never been good at figuring out the test results…read more(once calculated I need 150 pounds of ash and I did know that was wrong). And Yes I did deal with both this store and NPS before Leslie's purchased them, even Amazon for a few things. But none of those come close to the information, knowledge and help I receive from this store and especially it's owner BILL! The man is a walking encyclopedia of information on water chemistry, chemicals, equipment and anything else to do with pools. I have the print out of every water test ran at this store so I can track my water and chemicals to better understand what my pool is doing. Once again I'm attempting to test myself and use both the vials with drops and test strips to cross-check myself. Several days ago it indicated I needed Acid so I added acid and then a couple of hours later water clarifier/brightener (their blue brand). I went to bed proud of myself! Next morning water was super cloudy. Frantically I tested (both ways of course) and no acid - NADA! Grabbed the water test bottle and roared down to the store. Now I had just been in 3 days earlier and had my water tested by Bill and I hate to abuse that generous free service. As soon as I came in frantically holding the test bottle out Bill asked, "WHAT DID YOU DO KNOW!" I told him as he walked to the test area he told me my Chlorine was most likely locked up from old water saturated with chemicals. (I generally change water ever other year in late winter) He tested it and confirmed no chlorine and my Parts per Million chemicals in the water was super high! He was kidding and tutting me as he walked back, picked up a bag of stuff and said put this in, explaining fully what it was, how it works, and how to broadcast it and run the pump. I paid and went straight home did exactly as instructed, upped the pump speed to it's highest speed and within 2 to 3 hours my water sparkled like diamonds and was crystal clear. Yes, I think Leslie's is high on some of their products, but they have had some fantastic sales recently. But that is the Company and not the stores and with NPS brought up by them they pretty much rule the roost. So I'm leaving the company OUT OF THIS REVIEW and ONLY RATING - THIS STORE! I research online everything we purchase - to a fault! I've yet to find a Leslie's product that didn't work as advertised, IF USED PROPERLY and by the Directions! I have never had any of Bill's employees attempt to oversell me. I've visited during off hour times when Bill has some time and sought his insight in which is the best tool, machine or chemical for my pool and use in it and every time he has been brutally honest, even to the point of steering me away from my leaning strongly towards a far more expensive product. Their technician came out and charged us $150 to tell us we needed an electrician. We arranged for an electrician at another $150 charge, and the electrician pointed out that the motor was corroded and was spewing water out onto the electrical connections causing the electrical panel to trip off. Creative Spa technician should certainly have been able to pinpoint this issue if they had any idea of what they were doing! Weekly reports lacked basic chemical breakdowns and only provided a photo of a meter. ​Weeks of Ignored Algae Blooms: Despite multiple messages alerting them to worsening algae over several weeks, proper testing (like CYA) wasn't done until a company leader flagged it when called me after I notified them I was cancelling. ​Offering free service doesn't fix persistent bad service. I had to hire outside help just to restore my pool. Look past the marketing and check their most recent 1-star reviews before hiring them.
