I bought a spa here just 3 years ago, and a valve switch broke. I physically brought the part in and was told they'd look it up and order it. Over a week went by with no update. I called, and they had no idea what I was talking about. I had to resend the images of the part, was told again they'd order it -- and then a month later, this is the response I got: "Hello. We are no longer ordering spa parts. Very sorry. Ecospaparts.com. They also have a phone number on the website. Very sorry." So basically, no help, no direction, and apparently I'm supposed to figure out the part number myself. When I bought the spa, they assured me I could "always come back for parts or service." Clearly, that was a lie. If you want a company that stands behind what they sell, look elsewhere. These guys disappear the second your check clears. All i wanted was to be treated fairly with the sale. We told him what needs to be done to move forward. He finally agreed. A technician came a few days later and sorted out my concerns about the spa. All is well now. I sincerely hope that they have learned from their errors and move forward. I gave them 4 stars because i think that they have potential to be great (5stars). Keith is a terrible person. He is very dishonest. I bought a K2 spa. He never email me the deposit receipt nor the purchase receipt that he promised. He never showed us how to operate the spa. When it was delivered, we found out that the spa could be wired 110 or 220. He did not know that piece of information. Also the spa did not come with a owner's manual. Up to today, he has not gotten me the manual. I had to write to the manufacturer and the Vice President of Avantikul emailed the manual to me. I do not recommend anyone to buy from this person. Now he is charging my neighbour a huge percentage of her spa because she cancelled the order. Very dishonest business that they run over there. read more

Purchased a hot tub and cover and within 6 months the cover began to warp. Contacted the Manager Todd and he told me to contact Phoenix customer service which I did by leaving a voicemail. Two weeks later i followed up and CSR requested various pictures and serial numbers which I provided promptly. Waited two more weeks to follow up and CSR said claim was denied because of spa proximity to window but they would honor defective cover anyway. Was told they'd ship replacement cover to Spa World and they would in turn install. Another couple of weeks and was told it would cost me $120 for trip charge. Please beware of these scammers. Spent over 11k on on our spa. We were pushed towards a Geo spa because it was a less expensive Cal Spa. The owner Todd see business card picture gained my trust because we are both cancer survivors and we were told what a quality spa it was. It has been a nightmare. We've had several issues and when you call Cal Spas they tell you what a piece of junk it is and it was originally made for Costco but they had too many problems with it so they stopped carrying it. Shame on me for thinking a fellow cancer survivor would be honest and truthful. This spa has been a nightmare. We didn't even get an owners manual we had to download it and it doesn't even cover all the different functions. We are currently waiting for Cal Spa to tell us how to take it out of Lock mode after it's broken 3 times in the first year and the Cal Spa tech said it's a POS but was super nice. Well its been about 6 months since I purchased my hot tub from Todd and despite my wife not liking him very much (lol), everything he said was factual and he saved us a bunch of money on our purchase. All i can say is shop around and then go see this guy (no, i did not get paid to say this). I purchased a Vital spa brand and it looks and works great! The part I like about it is that the frame is metal and there is no foam. I learned the hard way with my previous spa that rats get in there and nest since the water is warm underneath (gross right!), and so far this one stays exceptionally clean thanks to the free chemicals I received and no rodents! BUYER BEWARE!!! This place is great at selling, but any follow-up care you may need is horrible. We bought a swim spa and the sides and molding cracked and warped within two months. Sunset Spas gave us a piece a paper with the name and number for a company in Arizona for repairs. It took them 7 months to replace the siding and within 4 months it all started cracking and warping again. It took me two months to get someone to return a phone call, and all my emails were conveniently "not received." I was told in December that they put in a claim and they would call me to replace the sides again. I have not heard from them and it's March 8th. I have returned to Sunset Spas for assistance only to be passed off to A&G, the "ever-so-helpful" company in Arizona. I would not recommend Sunset Spas to anyone, it truly has been the worst customer service after we spent $30,000 on a crappy product. read more

Went to Sunset Spas again this morning and talked to Todd about our spa. We foolishly bought from Proficient Patio and boy was that a mistake but I did not know about Sunset Spas because its about 20 miles from our home and we never ventured that far when we first moved here. We are having some problems with the water and what takes care of what our problem and Todd helped us immediately. I tried calling Proficient Patio for Help and got "we don't sell them anymore so I cannot help you. I also tried calling Karen Hanson at Cal-Spa in Cali and that was a fruitless effort. Todd told us what to do and when to do it and we really appreciate that he helped up even though we did not buy his Spa. If only we knew Todd before making such a Major purchase from Pro Patio on Valley View because they have No Idea of Customer Service & I blame the owner of Proficient for not teaching his staff in Customer Service because they suck. Sunset Spas had the best selection of low to high-end spas we found in Las Vegas. What made the purchase exceptional was the salesperson Joe, who was patient and gave us the kind of personal attention that made us feel secure for such an expensive purchase His positive, lowkey approach didn't make us feel rushed, and he shared with us his and other customers' experience with the various models.
