The Works!!!!
Kevyne N.

My man took me here to show me where he gets pizza when he was growing up. He said it was the best pizza in town and he is flipping right! We had to come back here in 3 weeks after the first time because why not? Their pizza is really good! I would skip the cheese steak tho. Better to get it somewhere else.

This is the amount of sun-dried tomatoes left over when the dish was finished.

First time trying Vinces and my dinner special was pretty good although I doctored it using the lemon from my water. My wife's dish of rigatoni with olives capers and sun-dried tomatoes looked like something out of a horror film. Usually you would get a lot of rigatoni and a little bit of the ingredients on the sauce, this was completely unbalanced and had to have an entire jar of sun-dried tomatoes in it. It was very salty although the pasta was cooked well. The garlic knots were very good although probably had a little bit too much garlic sauce and the marinara was a bit thick. Will probably give it another try. The server was friendly.

Great little restaurant in the heart of Yardley borough. Good food at a decent price and my favorite is there a brick oven pizza.

Good, no frills pizza at a reasonable cost. Quick and friendly service to boot. Not the best pizza in Yardley, but the best value.

I love their meatballs, tomato sauce and their homemade bleu cheese! Service is good. I think their kid' s menu could be cheaper.

I was debating between the Chicken-Fried Chicken & the Pork Milanese Marsala so I asked the…read morewaitress. She said the pork is one of her faves and it's a big portion. She wasn't kidding. Not only was it a delightful experience for my tastebuds, it covered the entire plate. This was one of the few times I couldn't finish my meal. It probably didn't help that I had an order of their amazing bread and butter. I love the vibe at this spot. They serve top notched meals in a casual environment. I have visited this spot at least 10 times and they don't miss. My wife has the Rye & Gochujang Radiatori. I tasted it and it was delish. I never thought to add gochujang to a pasta dish, but I will be doing that in the future. If you have room for something sweet, end your meal by sharing Brioche Doughnuts. We get them every time we visit.

If just reviewing the food, this would be a 5. The beet salad was so unique and artfully crafted,…read moreI've never had a beet salad quite like that. Also loved the smash burger -- delicious and no pretentious frills -- but the fries were the standout; homemade, hearty and crispy. The pumpkin and pretzel casarecce pasta was very tasty as well, and the small-sized portion was plenty. Clearly the chef is talented and takes their work seriously. Given that they don't sell liquor & you can bring your own, the prices are fantastic. Cheapest dinner I've had since the early 2000s lol. They do have some N/A wines, beers and cocktails for those who don't care about booze. I could see this place being perfect for breakfast or lunch because it has beautiful views of the river. We came for dinner, and within 20-30 minutes, it was pitch black outside so we didn't get to enjoy the view. The lighting in the restaurant for dinner is too bright, which takes away from the atmosphere and makes it seem more like a takeout restaurant than upscale dining. Our server was great but the food took way too long to come out. It was about 30 minutes to get a salad. Not sure if they were short-staffed or that's just how it is but because the food was good enough, we will definitely come back to find out!

So happy that I have rediscovered Canal Street a few times since our first visit. This Greek…read morerestaurant has consistently delivered on taste and cozy ambience, whether a family dinner or a date lunch. Apps this time included cold dips and my favorite version of grape leaves. Meat dishes - especially lamp chops and blackened salmon were big winners. Carb cakes also crispy to perfection. Lemon potatoes were the all around favorite. Baklava was a treasured dessert and converted even my picky younger daughter over to Baklava (chocolate mousse also rich and delish). So glad we have had many great meals here and that Canal Street was such a nice place to have a weekend dinner with friends.

I mean how many times have you asked for a medium burger only to get it well done? Compliments to the chef on that alone but also on the Moussaka. Both the vegetable and classic Moussaka are standouts. Sooo delicious. Our server was excellent. Friendly, timly and wanted to please. It added to a perfect dinner. Reservations were honored. The restaurant wasn't full on Sunday night, but you never know...still better to have a reservation. And who dosen't love a byob!! Not sure why we haven't been here in a while but we will put it back on our top 5 local place to go. It checks every box.

We also got dessert to celebrate 2 birthdays and an anniversary. Dinner for 4 was a little over $200 - although 2 of us did not drink. Cocktails here are from $14 and up. Had an OK to good lunch experience here with my son. We sat in a dining area that faced the river…read more I would recommend asking to be sat along the windows if you can reserve one. The service was somewhat slow, but the waitress was very nice. Their beer was in cans or bottles. I ordered a Head Hunter IPA and it had a date code from the summer, so their stock was a bit old. I split a bowl of crab bisque $15 with my son. It was ok on spices/flavor and had small strips of crab, but the body was on the thinner side and I didn't think it was creamy enough. A miss, plus the guy who brought it out must have had the soup shift on the walk over so he had his thumb on top of the spillage that went onto the rim. I should have sent it back, but we were hungry. The small cornbread muffins that we had before our meals came out were tasty. After discussing the lunch menu with the waitress she said the Yardley Burger was very popular. $19 - roasted tomato, boursin cheese, hand cut fries. My son ordered the chicken cutlet - $18 fresh mozzarella, vodka aioli and chips. He skipped the sauteed spinach that was supposed to come on it. They took awhile to come out. The burger had a ridiculous amount of boursin on it (plenty of herbs and garlic coming off it), the meat was bland and the hand cut fries were a tad soggy. Even the bun was weak, so for $19 they can keep it. My sons sandwich was much better. The vodka aioli flavor was a home run with the thick cutlets. Still not worth $18, but much better than the burger. I had a Yards Washington Porter with my burger that slightly helped my disappointment. This place only gets the 4th star because I love history and the building has it. It was just OK other than that. Maybe a dinner/date night is in order to see what these higher yelp reviews are all about. Their entree prices seem much more in line. For lunch, I'm a no.
