This was my second visit. The gluten free pizza and the gluten free stuffed shells were very delicious. The crust on the Gluten Free Pizza was a different texture that I really liked. The stuffed shells were great. I appreciate it very much that the gluten free offerings are available and tasty. The young lady who was the server does an excellent job keeping up with many tables. recently purchased a medium Sise veggies pizza for take out. I was charged about $23+. it was a total shock since I usually buy pizza at Mannino in Morrisville. Large pizze costs about $13. at Vince they added 3% fir us8ng credit card which no one seems to automatically adds. Once upon a time, Vince's Pizza in Yardley was a regular stop on the underground pizza railway running from Bristol up to Riegelsville. It seems that somewhere along the way Vince's recipe or his touch for making good tomato pie got lost. Today, my slices were doughy rather than crisp, not well reheated in the oven, and had a slightly bitter taste. Too, it failed the most crucial pizza test - when lifted off the paper plate the point sagged like an old dog ear and immediately began to drip oil. This was not the experience I was anticipating when I stopped in to renew acquaintances with one of my old haunts. The price for the slices and small drink was just slightly above 5 bucks, which was great, but I would have gladly paid more for quality pizza. Oh, woe is me. How the mighty have fallen. read more

This is the fourth pizzeria I've checked out in the area and like the others, I walked away far from impressed. The slices at Vince's were on the small side and the taste was very average in my opinion. Slice characteristics included an overdone and overly dense crust, too little sauce, and what seemed to be a bare minimum amount of mozzarella. Their pizza will definitely fill your stomach but it's nothing to write home about. I also got to try to ham and salami stromboli which was pretty good. However, even though the stromboli itself was rather big (and nicely made I might add) I thought they skimped out a bit on the fillings. It definitely could have used a bit more meat for my taste. If you've lived in the area for a while I'm sure you've either grown to accept pizzeria's like Vince's or simply decided to drive a bit further and get your pizza somewhere more reputable. If you're a first timer looking for a slice, be prepared for complete mediocrity. read more

First time trying Vinces and my dinner special was pretty good although I doctored it using the lemon from my water. My wife's dish of rigatoni with olives capers and sun-dried tomatoes looked like something out of a horror film. Usually you would get a lot of rigatoni and a little bit of the ingredients on the sauce, this was completely unbalanced and had to have an entire jar of sun-dried tomatoes in it. It was very salty although the pasta was cooked well. The garlic knots were very good although probably had a little bit too much garlic sauce and the marinara was a bit thick. My cycling group has an annual dinner in the back room of Vince's. I've been there twice. Most recently I shared a pasta dish and some wood fired pizza with my mom. The pasta was a special, blush sauce with bow-ties, chicken, mushrooms, and spinach. It was pretty tasty, not as good as the BYOs in Philly, but considering how many people love Olive Garden in the suburbs, it was good. The pizza was good too, lots of basil, and a good sauce. It could have been cooked another 3 minutes, but still tasted great. I'm forgetting her name, but there's a waitress that takes care of us every year, and she's great. We are a party of about 20, but we never wait too long for food or drinks. I don't know if it's because we are a big group, but the salads come with this huge container of dressing. I usually take the leftovers home, but other people don't do that so I think a lot of dressing gets wasted. The rolls that come with the salad are always piping hot, and perfectly cooked. They come with butter, but ask for the olive oil. It's nicely spiced. read more

Ate at Vince's last night and while the food was descent, the service was slow and appeared unorganized. They usually offer bread, but it was apparently "still baking" and we didn't get it until after the appetizers. The appetizers took 30 minutes to receive after the order. The spaghetti with meat sauce was good with a comfortable portion, but a bit on the salty side. My son's angel hair pasta with red clam sauce was very good. When we got the pies they were a little off compared to usual. (Stuff happens, we know it can't be perfect every time) we called and explained, and with no further questions they sent out two new pies right away. These pies did come perfect!!! Vince's is a local favorite, an establishment where the families of LMT get together after youth league games, during Lent, right before a big cooking holiday (TG, Easter, Xmas)... so these are the nights it is the busiest. Grab a bottle of wine from Yardley Spirits right next door and bring it in for your family to enjoy. To be honest, there's something in my tastebuds which compares all pizza to Vince's. I don't know if it's because I probably ate it once every fortnight as a child, but whenever I travel, I compare my experience in a family run pizza shop to this one. Husband says it's "okay" pizza- and he's a pizza connoisseur- so I realize my bias. Vince's has been voted one of top 5 cheesesteak places in the Philly area, so their hoagies and steaks are great, too. If you ask for onions, they finely chop them and fry them up with the steaks, so if you want them raw and on the top, make sure you specify. They have expanded their menu significantly over the years and includes Brooklyn style and wood-fired pizzas. For the regular experience, try a good old regular cheese pizza. The pizza also changes a bit depending on which staff is running the place, so if you like your crust crispy, make sure you specify to the waitstaff. read more

Notwithstanding the suggestive name of the restaurant, I've decided to order a pasta dish -- the mussel linguine in garlic sauce, partly because I was craving for some seafood. I was very happy with this dish, linguine topped with mussels completely over the plate. Love New England's liberal way of serving seafood. I held a surprise bday party for my husband at Vince's yesterday, the owners went above and beyond expectations to ensure we had a great time. 50 guests in the private room, the food was great, Roxana assisted us & gave 110% and more. Every need was attended to, my husband was thrilled, the guests said the food was delicious & some even asked to take some home - there was more than enough, we took some home too!
