I stopped by for a quick dinner. This was excellent-- a nice crispy crust with cheese that was gooey but not greasy. They advertised lunch special (2 slices and a drink for less than 7 bucks) but that also seemed to be offered at dinner. Pizza by the slice was somewhat limited. I reserve 5 stars for truly elite pizza. This wasn't that, but it was very, very good.

Had a good experience with Yardley Pizzeria. Ordered takeout via phone and was ready within 20min. Pizza was good and it's what you would expect from a pizzeria. It's a "football style pizza". Would recommend and will visit again.

A cute little restaurant on Maine St. It is currently going through some renovations, however we were excited to check it out. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. We really enjoyed Yardley Pizzeria! The pesto pizza was outstanding with fresh arugula and it was perfectly sauced. My husband also enjoyed his pepperoni, and we both liked the way the crust was cooked. Everyone who worked in the restaurant was friendly and came over to check on us and ensure the pizza turned out well. Good service, casual atmosphere, and great pizza! We'll be back! read more

We are so happy! We ordered a delivery gluten free mushroom pizza & an order of meatballs. On the order I stressed care needed to be given to be sure the pizza was gluten free. Shortly I received a call from the restaurant to be certain the meatballs were a side and not to be placed on the pizza. We appreciated the call. Soon the order came right on time, I called the restaurant after we had a few bites. The meatballs were perfection! I was absolutely delighted. The pizza was excellent & nice and cheesy. He seemed delighted that I'd called & said they were very careful with the gluten free order. I told him we'll be calling again soon! read more

IF anyone could reasonably expect nice decorating or prettiness, I'd only give 4 stars because this is as plain a place as can be. However, it is clean, and their pizza is wonderful (and I'm a pizza snob formerly from Trenton NJ, enough said, if you know, you know.) Servers are nice and efficient; I'm going to be a happy repeat customer here. read more

I have ordered delivery several times and everything was wonderful. Today I went in and ordered Gluten Free Ziti with grilled chicken. The dish is served with a salad and it's huge. Probably 4 meals for me. The owner or manager came over to go over my order and check that my sister's dish was not to be gluten free. Special handling and very knowledgeable of my need to make sure everything was safe for my health needs. Definitely will be back or delivery! Ambiance welcoming! read more

I always get a Brooklyn square pizza. Since the owners changed recently it doesn't taste the same. It seemed as though the sauce was chunkier, with large bits of tomato and didn't quite taste as good. Looking at old pictures of the Brooklyn on google confirmed my suspicions about the sauce. read more

We were traveling on Saturday 16th of December with our granddaughter to attend a matinee at the Bucks County Theater. On our way, we stopped in Yardley for a quick lunch at "Sauce". We found the pizza was fresh, with home made sauce and done to perfection. We enjoyed a pizza that was half plain and half vodka sauce, both as described in the menu. The owner is new and could not have been more friendly and helpful. The restaurant is super clean and accommodating for families. read more

Their pizza is typical Trenton style, thin crispy crust, cheese on the bottom with dollops of sauce on top. I've lived in PA since I was 7 but prior we lived near Washington's Crossing on the NJ side an most of our family is from Hamilton. Every time I get a chance to have some Trenton Tomato pie it brings back memories grabbing some with my grandparents off of Klockner Road. I definitely put this location towards the top of my list but PaPa's is still #1.

I'm not a huge bread guy, but it's a staple at Italian eateries. I enjoyed a nice glass of a dry oaky cabernet my new friend recommended. They had a decent sized wine bottle/glass menu. I'm not a wine expert, but many styles were represented and it seemed like the management is on top of their selections and recommendations. A look at reviews from the last few years read of disappointment in the products available in their cold displays. A change was needed to inject new life and renewed quality into the good Capt'n. That has been accomplished. My recent visit demonstrated that management is actively engaged in rebuilding brand by focusing on returning everything that the seafood market was previously known for to their former glory, as well as expanding with high end crab adjacent goods, like packaged pastas, pierogi, sauces and Stock pound cakes. All this, and the smiling repartee from Mark, one half of the new team running the business. This shop may be small, but it is bright and friendly. Of course, the crab is excellent, especially in light of the fact that Chucky is no where near the Chesapeake and must have inventory all year, and not just in crab season. No whole live crabs in the house, but their thing is the cake that lump crabmeat can create. Several options depending on your taste are available. I purchased a quart of Cream of Roasted Corn & Crab Soup and sampled three large fresh Shrimp. The chowder was delicious, with lots of corn and shredded sweet crab. Maybe not quite as meaty as I have loved in Annapolis, the Eastern Shore or the Delaware Beaches, but compelling nonetheless. Maybe next time I will pick up some of the pierogi and pound cakes to create a full meal. 5 Crusty Stars and only five miles from home.

We tried their pizza and it was ok . It was just not like the typical pizza we usually enjoy . If pizza places don't use high quality cheese you will see oil on top. The pizza place we frequent in New Hope uses fresh block cheese which doesn't produce that orange oil on top.
