I first had him come by to look into some siding that needed to be repaired on the house, but we found out that water had damaged the whole wall of the house. He added some details which I really liked and that speaks volumes of his work, character and professionalism to ensure his costumers are well taken care of. Solis Construction recently (April 2019) completed an 18 month long…read morecomplete remodel of our 114-year-old home and when I say complete remodel I mean everything, from attic to foundation, all new systems, plumbing, electrical, bathroom and kitchen total remodels along with new tile, all the way to exterior siding repair and new paint. To say we were satisfied is a total understatement - from the first Alfredo was on site everyday with his guys and it's not exaggerating to say that they became almost like family. They worked in a timely and efficient manner and were very good about cleaning up every day where feasible, putting up plastic sheeting to reduce dust, etc. It always a little uncomfortable opening up your home to strangers, turning over the keys and letting them have access while you are absent, but from day one Alfredo called and texted every day of the project to let us know what the day's work would entail and then he would follow-up with a review, which was very much appreciated, so there was no wondering what work was being done on what day. They were very accommodating on our requests for certain modifications to the plans (adding an outlet or a external lighting, adding an accent color to the exterior paint, etc.) and the work was completed on schedule (except where the weather made working outside difficult) and to our absolute satisfaction. I can highly recommend Alfredo and J.Solis Construction and we will definitely be calling them again when we're ready to landscape our front and backyards. They can do it all, from major structural work to detail finishing on a 114-year-old Victorian home and we are extremely happy with the work done.

I wanted to paint my Fairfield home's exterior when the summer heat broke and before the big winds…read moreof fall started. It's sometimes a small window. I called Moreno Painting for an estimate as Alejandro had done work for us before. He responded promptly and again his estimate was complete in describing the work to be performed and the materials to be used. As we walked around the house, he pointed out the gutters needed to be replaced as the bottoms were full of rusted out pinholes. I was aware of the damage but had hoped to put the job off until later as the estimate I had for the gutters seemed high. We continued our walk around and he showed me a bit of dry rot on a fascia board that needed attention. He told me that now was the right time to have the old gutters removed and replaced. He could paint the fascia board while the gutters were off to better protect the wood. When I told him that I didn't want to delay the paint job and that I needed another estimate on the gutters. He gave me a contact for the gutter work. Alejandro and I collaborated on selecting the exterior colors.
