    Bahn Mi with chicken
    Katie P.

On a rainy, chilly fall night, I found myself hankering for a comforting meal. I really didn't want soup. Just wasn't in the mood. When Pad Thai popped in my brain, I began my hunt for a restaurant to appease my craving. I have heard great things about Vietnamese Noodle House. I haven't been there since I was a child, and we went to the North Syracuse location. My sister and I headed over to the Camillus location for dinner. From the outside, the restaurant is kind of unassuming. You cannot see in from outside, and to my surprise, it was bustling in the dining room! There is a beautiful mural on the wall and I really loved the cozy, well-decorated feel of the restaurant. I wanted Pad Thai, of course, but I also wanted to have something else! I've had Bahn Mi before and was excited to introduce it to my sister. The sandwich was a really good size for the price. The chicken was nicely flavored, as were the pickled veggies, and the cucumber and carrots added a perfect balance to the French bread. The Pad Thai was exactly what I needed - great amount of crushed peanuts, large pieces of chicken, and a sweet and savory sauce. We also ordered dumplings. They had options for steamed/fried and pork/veggie. We had steamed pork dumplings. It was a joy to add the chili crunch and dip them in the delicious accompanying sauce. Our server was attentive but not overbearing. The total, including sodas, came out to around $40 which I found to be reasonable for how much everything costs right now! I can't wait to bring others to Vietnamese Noodle House and share the great experience with them.

While I often get takeout from here, the in-person dining experience is also very good. The staff are friendly and accommodating, with the ability to make many of the items gluten free, vegetarian, vegan, or to make other changes. The Camillus location has a better feel to the dining area than the North Syracuse location, but each one is nicer inside than one would expect from outside.

Overall, delicious. Fresh ingredients and wonderful flavor in the food. We stopped by for lunch on a rainy day and it was definitely the day for a hot bowl of pho. We were seated quickly which was a plus. Our server was very helpful with answering food ingredient questions but overall service was very slow and it wasn't easy to get her attention. When we finally could order we chose stir fried chow fun and pho. The stir fried chow fun was perfect. The pho had one of the most flavorful broths I've ever had. Unfortunately, due to ingredients used in their noodles I couldn't have them. So I asked for extra bean spouts instead. The pho came out as a bowl with a few sprouts thrown in. There was no extra plate of bean sprouts, jalapeños and Thai basil, which is standard with pho. It took a long time to flag down the server and then there was another long wait for the bean sprouts and Thai basil, by then the broth was cold, annoying. In the end she charged us extra for the bean sprouts and Thai basil, which were the standard amount you would get with your soup anywhere else. The prices here were reasonable but it was still kind of weird.

One of the best authentic Vietnamese restaurants in Syracuse. The pho is delicious with a rich, flavorful broth, and the summer rolls are fresh and perfectly light. They also have bubble tea, which is nice. Service is good, and the food comes out quickly. The space has plenty of seating, and it's always bustling with people, a great sign of its popularity. Definitely a go-to spot for Vietnamese food in the area.

I'll have to preface by saying Vietnamese isn't my favorite Asian cuisine but the House special bahn mi was the best sandwich I've had in recent memory. And only $9! Next time I'll get 2! Great baguette but definitely on the crispy side. Had the shrimp summer roll which was very good. Great peanut sauce. But next time I'll get 2 bahn mis.

I placed a to go order but I was able to see the inside and it was clean and nothing too fancy. I was greeted and my food was ready on time. These dumplings are some of the best I have ever had. I loved the sauces to dip them in as well. I love pad thai and saw it on the menu so decided to give it a try. Typically a Thai dish not Vietnamese, it was good but definitely did not taste like what I am used to. I will have to go back and sit down and try out more of their menu.

I ventured outside the box this time and ordered something new... and actually have found my new fav soup here! :) The creamy udon noodle soup was fantastic. So flavorful and service was great as usual. This place is consistently amazing and provides delicious food. Can't go wrong here! I will continue to recommend this place to anyone who's looking for good food.

Wanted to try something different before going to the Movie Tavern in Camillus, and the Vietnamese Noodle House did not disappoint! For a Tuesday afternoon, there were quite a few customers and the single waitress did a great job managing everything! Since we had never been there, we asked her what she would recommend and took her up on her suggestions. I went with the Beef Pho and my husband had the Spicy Pho with pork. Both bowls had a flavorful broth that made you keep reaching for more. I said multiple times that this would be the meal I would want if I were sick. We also had pork bao buns as a starter and Vietnamese iced coffee, which was deliciously sweet. We will definitely be back!

Bomb vegan options, everything very fresh and tasty. Good portions and reasonably priced. Food comes out well flavored but not spicy hot, so if you are craving some hotness, I would ask them to kick it up a notch. I had the tofu banh mi at the restaurant for lunch and carried out noodles with veggies and vegetarian chicken for dinner. Definitely will be trying the rest of their vegan menu. Lots of drink options as well, I had a passion fruit juice, and they also have various teas and smoothies. Service was fast/attentive, and the place is clean and spacious.

My mom and I came in on a Wednesday noonish and there were several people seated but by the time we left it was packed! We were seated right away and ordered a pot of jasmine tea which was great. We ordered the fried dumplings and beef pho. The dumplings were perfectly cooked and crispy. The pho had levels of flavor and tasted like it was cooked for hours! I love pho and this was one of the best pho Ive ever had. Had plenty of noodles and bean sprouts. I asked for extra lime since thats what I like. Will definitely be back.

Ngon qua if you know what I mean. The com ga/suong nuong is also really flavorful and well prepared. My absolute personal favorite is the bun bo hue, real knows real. It's delicious here. The service as many complain about is as usual as any other delicious tasting Asian restaurant. They know their food is good so what else is left to say. 10/10 no notes

I've been a loyal customer here for years, which is why this experience was especially…read moredisappointing. Before coming to the store, I called to ask about the price of the food and was quoted one amount. When I arrived, the price was significantly higher. I calmly mentioned that there may have been a misunderstanding regarding the price. Instead of handling the situation professionally, staff went behind the doors, and I overheard them calling me "stupid." Regardless of any pricing confusion, speaking about a customer that way is unacceptable and extremely unprofessional. I understand that misunderstandings can happen, but customers should always be treated with respect. After being a customer for so many years, I never expected to be treated this way. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling embarrassed, disrespected, and unwelcome. I hope the business takes customer service more seriously in the future because no one should be spoken about that way. I proceeded to take my food anyways and then found a piece of plastic bag in my food. so im not sure if they did that intentionally because I spoke up or if it was a mistake. I won't be back there for awhile.
