Service was quick. I loved the music. Low enough to talk but loud enough to just chill. The food was good but the pho was a bit salty. Ordered 3 banh mi to go. I hope they're good.

I loved the meal I had from here last night. This is one of the few places in the area that is open later on Sunday. My food was ready really fast. The storefront is small with a few tables for seating, but I opted to do to-go. The pho and egg rolls were great. The egg rolls were crispy and flavorful. The pho had all fresh ingredients with a rich broth. I was so full afterwards. I also tried a Vietnamese tea that was not too sweet and complimented the meal. I would definitely give this place another try!

We decided to try Mr. Pho out after seeing a post about them on a local food page. It was only a few days after they were open. I try to wait it out with new restaurants but we love Vietnamese food, plus we were in the area. The three of us couldn't decide on an appetizer so we opted for the house special platter (egg rolls, summer roll, rocket shrimp, chicken wings). I believe it was the owner brought out the appetizer and explained what each sauce was for. Everything was delicious and I love the size of the summer roll compared to other Vietnamese restaurants(I make them this size at home lol). My oldest loved the chicken wings, I took a little bite(saved them for her) and they were good. The rocket shrimp and egg roll were just as good as everything on the platter. The sauces complement each appetizers(I forgot what the white sauce was, it was for chicken wings but they really didn't need it). For entrees my husband ordered the Steak & Brisket Phó , I ordered Rice Vermicelli Bowl w/Egg Roll, Meatball & Grilled Pork , my oldest ordered Shrimp Fried Rice . My husband loved the broth of the pho(he'll add more meat next time, not enough), he had me taste the broth and I definitely agree it was delicious and might surpass our usual go to place . His came with bean sprouts, lime, Thai basil, jalapeños. At the table there were chopsticks in like a caddy(regular utensils too), hoisin and sriracha(no chili oil). I loved my vermicelli bowl, the grilled pork was flavorful and not dry. The meatballs were slice and were delicious, a little greasy(I love, some may not), the egg rolls were good like the appetizer. It has enough vegetables and sauce to pour over. My oldest loved her shrimp fried rice. It was a good size portion with good size shrimp(I was surprised). As for drinks she got strawberry bubble tea, I got Vietnamese iced coffee(so good), my husband had just a soft drink. We can't wait to go back and try more items, parking downtown isn't the greatest but for good food it's worth it. It looks like takeout was a hit for them as we sat there.

First week of opening: Unfortunately, this was a miss for us. The summer rolls had too much lettuce & little other flavor for our liking. The Banh Mi, which may be total preference, the bread was good but the rest of the flavors did not shine though & having the meat thin & cold just wasn't our forte. We ended with a pork & egg roll rice vermicelli, which were all tasty in themselves but again seemed to lack flavor. I absolutely MUSTA try the PHO & Thai tea and coffee, though! And, they replied to my post on Instagram with thoughtfulness, it's a hard break in downtown cuse so I am excited for their future

We're passing through Syracuse and we happened to see this place. The staff are super friendly and super accommodating. The restaurant has many tables/seats, clean and seemed family friendly. The food is also great, fast, and affordable. It seems a lot of people order take out from this place. Will definitely drop by again if we are in downtown Syracuse. Absolutely a great spot if you're looking for Vietnamese around this neck of the woods.

When Pad Thai popped in my brain, I began my hunt for a restaurant to appease my craving. I have heard great things about Vietnamese Noodle House. I haven't been there since I was a child, and we went to the North Syracuse location. My sister and I headed over to the Camillus location for dinner. From the outside, the restaurant is kind of unassuming. You cannot see in from outside, and to my surprise, it was bustling in the dining room! There is a beautiful mural on the wall and I really loved the cozy, well-decorated feel of the restaurant. I wanted Pad Thai, of course, but I also wanted to have something else! I've had Bahn Mi before and was excited to introduce it to my sister. The sandwich was a really good size for the price. The chicken was nicely flavored, as were the pickled veggies, and the cucumber and carrots added a perfect balance to the French bread. The Pad Thai was exactly what I needed - great amount of crushed peanuts, large pieces of chicken, and a sweet and savory sauce. We also ordered dumplings. They had options for steamed/fried and pork/veggie. We had steamed pork dumplings. It was a joy to add the chili crunch and dip them in the delicious accompanying sauce. Our server was attentive but not overbearing. The total, including sodas, came out to around $40 which I found to be reasonable for how much everything costs right now! I can't wait to bring others to Vietnamese Noodle House and share the great experience with them.

I enjoyed the squash bisque (fabulous, no pic), then shared the whole sea bass entree with my companion. It's brought to the table then cut and served. Perfect for two. The restaurant itself was such a large space with nice seating. Service throughout the meal was good but a bit slower. For appetizers, we had plates laid out for us to grab from. The eggplant items and spring roll I think were the best. We all got a large plate of salad which felt very generic with no Thai flavors. For my main, I chose the chicken in red curry. The curry was good, a bit mild though. The chicken itself was a little bit dryer than I was hoping for but flavor was good. I do also wish they had more veggies in the dish as well but the ones that were in there were well cooked. It would have been nice if there was more eggplant and hopefully also some bamboo shoots as well. Finally, for dessert I had the warm chocolate cake. The cake was tasty - basically just a chocolate lava cake. Additionally the ice cream it came with was a nice addition. All in all, a fine meal option in the area.

There was one server who was taking care of everything and did an amazing job. She was seating people, taking orders, serving food, bussing tables and ringing people out when they paid. I ordered the lunch special.. appetizer, entree. I ordered the Thai dumplings, Green Curry with chicken and Coconut Flan. The dumplings were homemade but tasted a bit bland. The Green Curry was delicious and very flavorful, the vegetables and chicken cooked perfectly. I actually finished it with my spoon so I could eat every last drop. The flan was very small but sweet and excellent and a perfect end to the meal. I don't think I would get the special again...it was an okay lunch portion but I enjoy getting a larger entree to have leftovers for another day. I will definitely be going back and trying more of their dishes.

I prefer dining out during lunch hours, I feel you can get a better sense of an establishment when things are calmer. This is exactly what I experienced at Thai Flavor. A very calm and relaxing environment with only one other table being occupied at the time, service was spectacular! I had no clue what to order upon arrival, but I am a huge fan of Thai fried rice, so I was extremely happy to see that it was listed as a part of their lunch special. It did not disappoint! The fried rice was flavorful and "fresh." It didn't taste greasy or have a heavily salted taste profile. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The appetizers were very tasty as well. We ordered spring rolls, which were perfectly fried and chicken satay. The peanut butter sauce that was served with this chicken satay was a bit different than I was am used to. It had more of a natural PB flavor profile, not a deal breaker by any means. I'm so glad I finally dined at Thai Flavor and will definitely return to enjoy their amazingly priced lunch special again soon.
