They just opened for a few months The service was great and attentive Great recommendations I'd say that the pho uses semi wide flat noodles rather than the usually not that wide noodles but it's all good Get the sandwich with the milk tea or coffee Loved it Their spring roll was good and the dipping sauce was on the runny side as opposed to a thick consistency some other place has it I liked the sampler because it gave me a taste of everything on the appetizer list without having a whole serving of any one I personally didn't like the sliced luncheon like meat but other things on the sampler was great read more

Omg what a great new place! Went on date night and I suggested we try this place 1) nearby 2) plenty of easy parking 3) love Vietnamese food! So excited we have this great family owned restaurant. Food, service, price was spot on. Decor was bright and new. Everything was clean and inviting. So excited now there is a Banh mi i can buy even though tad $$ more than SJ but tasted really good! Everything was well done and fresh. We can't wait to come back again!! read more

Service was fine, food was good; I don't understand why these restaurants don't include everything in their bun...no cilantro or mint leaves; they give a lot of vermicelli but those two herbs would bring it to a higher level read more

So I had really high hopes for this place. The first time I dined in, it was okay. Nothing spectacular but got the pho craving done. The second time I came in, the beef pho with brisket and rare steak had so much fat in it, it was unappetizing. I told the server my feedback and the kitchens response was "we can't control it because the recent delivery of meat had a lot of fat on it." Well, okay, if that's the case, you still are able to control it and not serve it to customers. They offered me a 10% discount but even then, I think they could have at least comped 20% given mostly 1/4 of the pho had fat and gristle. Also, it's confusing when you enter. You don't know if you're supposed to pay upfront and then sit down, or just sit down and have them take your order. There's also no napkins or forks on the table. The plate of veggies didn't come with any cilantro or jalapeños. I had to ask them for a napkin, fork, and jalapeños which is such an inconvenience because they'd rather prioritize DoorDash orders. I won't be coming back. read more

I ordered the spring rolls and it tasted good can't wait to try the sandwiches next time! And they have viet ice coffee so good!

Came by on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. Parking was easy, plaza parking. The friendly staff told us which table we could sit at for dining in. There are tables but we feel like there aren't enough of them. Inside looked clean, there was occasionally mini fly flying around. It was very busy, there were customers dining in and ordering takeout. We got waters and took a few minutes before our order was taken. I was craving the banh mi sandwich. Ordered Cold cut banh mi Bun Bo Hue Grilled Beef First came the cold cut banh mi sandwich, it was good, tasted fresh. The bread was toasted just right, I would get this again. The Bun Bo Hue tasted good but it didn't come with pork blood like it stated on the menu, maybe they don't have that yet? Husband got the grilled beef, it was alright but would try a different dish next time. Once we were ready to pay, husband walked up to the cashier and they asked us if we needed any takeout boxes. Overall we will be coming back for takeout. read more

I think it was formerly a Korean and boba spot. Good pho and decent spring rolls; looking forward to going back and ordering other items off their menu. Prices are pretty decent, although service was just ok. It's a small spot, so to-go is probably recommended (especially if it's not pho), but it's nicely decorated. Good location in San Bruno Town Center, so there's plenty of parking. I feel like service improvement would bump it to 5 stars. While not perfect, highly recommended. read more

First time trying this restaurant. It's a nice ambiance inside giving gen z modern look with the neon name on the wall. The servers are nice & fast. The food is okay. I've had better vietnamese food. I personally think their food has an americanized touch to it compared to an authentic vietnamese taste. read more

New place was excited to try but was highly disappointed in their banh mi combo cold cut. Taste wasn't there merely any pate, meat was thin seems like regular ham highly disappointed as there wasn't any fresh veggies just cucumbers. No authentic banh mi taste was bleh. The bread was dry, didn't seem fresh. No jalapeño at all even though i ordered with everything on it.. Shrimp roll was decent in taste the peanut sauce tasted on authentic side but could be better. 2 long shrimp fresh rolls skin weren't soft after 2 hours became crunchy like. I'd try this place once more like a rice plate to see if its wirth coming back too bad i will not be ordering banh mi any more read more

I am assuming that this restaurant just opened negate of the grand opening sign that hands out front. There were two people working when I arrived, one taking orders at tables and the other taking to go orders at the counter. It was a cold day and I wasn't feeling my best so I was hoping for a delicous hot pho. I am a vegetarian but when I'm feeling down I like to get a beef broth veggie soup. When I ordered my usually veggie pho with beef broth the server was kind enough to let me know that they don't really put vegetables in their pho -- only onions and scallions. I was glad that he was honest and up front with me. I think other places would take your money and give you something that you might be dissatisfied with. Based on his advice, I left for a different pho place just a 5 minute drive away and got exactly what I wanted. read more

Came in wit a friend to sit down and eat and do some reconnaissance for future visits. Ordered the appetizer sampler, lemongrass pork chop rice place and a sandwich Togo. Offered hot tea or water before orders were taken. The first one to come out was the pork chop rice plate , ( forgot to take a picture) but was generous full plate. My friend said it was delicious, because she usually doesn't finish the plate but it was so good. She had too. The appetizer sampler came shortly after. Had to wait for the wings to cool down because they just fried them well. Cooked perfectly. The potted meat was my not my favorite. The imperial rolls were yummy. Overall nice to try , if you can't make up your mind what to try. Good option. Sauces were ok. Lacking peanut taste. The sandwich made Togo was a pork belly Kim Chee bun mi sandwich. Was told it was tasty and filling. We are definitely coming back to try the pho. read more

This place is a solid place to come for any type of Vietnamese food. The quality of each style is amazing; the Pho is great, Banh Mi is as expected and etc. The service is amazing as well as very quick so you won't be waiting long for your food. The place is a typical Asian-owned place just normal ambiance. read more

I stopped by to eat a late lunch while waiting for the nail salon next door. It's clean and bright and the menu is clearly displayed on the wall, there were a few other people having food. I got the combo pho medium and it hit the spot! The broth was good and plenty of noodles. I also appreciated that they offered me either hot tea or water as a choice. The lady in front was laid back and friendly. I saw some of the rice dishes come out and the portions looked big. The banh mis looked good too. I'll be back! read more

I was excited when this place opened up because there is a sad lack of good Vietnamese food nearby. Our first time, hubby and I both got the bun bo hue. The broth was flavorful, the noodles had the perfect bouncy chew, and there was a decent amount of meat. My only gripe was that it wasn't spicy at all, but we were still pleasantly surprised. So much so that we had to go back and try more things. Unfortunately our second time around was more of a miss. I got the bun rieu and the broth was very light and pretty bland--none of the rich umami+tomato flavor or deep annatto coloring you expect from bun rieu. The "rieu" came as one square piece like they made it as a meatloaf and sliced off a chunk instead of as separate "meatballs" with more loose rieu in the soup. Hubby didn't think his pho was anything special either. And though we got a small bag of sprouts, about 5 basil leaves, and a tiny piece of lemon for his pho, I didn't get any cabbage/herbs/lemon for my bun rieu. We'd go back for bun bo hue but it looks like we'll still be braving the downtown SSF/El Camino parking for Ben Tre if we want anything else. read more

New place across from Tanforan-nice clean and friendly service! I loved how it doesn't smell like dirty dish rags! Tried the cold cuts and chicken banh mi, avocado shake, iced coffee, and eggrolls. Eggrolls were crispy and not overly chewy-just enough bite and had enough taro for me to taste ! Banh mi was yummy toasted bread and good cuts of meat. I hate it when that meat has that awful tough rind on the meat. This place didn't have that and slathered on all that yummy pate for me! I also asked for no cilantro and cucumber etc cuz that's how I like it and they made it right! I ate it outside before I got in the car and because it was so yummy I made my husband go back and order another one for my mom. My mom wanted the beef banh mi and when she ate it, she texted me and said "this is how it SHOULD BE"! So mom approved cuz she remembers the banh mis from the days of yore! LOL! Will def return-didn't get to try the Bun Rieu yet! Tons of free parking which I like and close to all the shopping! read more

The meat served here is dodgy to say the least. Was craving good banh mi and felt truly let down by this place given the highly rated reviews. Note - I ordered in advance and ate my sandwich 20mins later, so potentially it may have tasted better eaten straight away. But I'm still getting jitters from the gross and thick layers of pork it's making me want to gag Another disclaimer, I'm not Vietnamese and perhaps only know the gringo version served by Lee's Sandwiches. So, if this is the real deal then I guess it's not for me! Ordered egg rolls, the belly pork and kimchi banh mi, bbq pork banh mi (had to ask for jalapeños which seemed odd as they're always in there!?) and a pho ga. Across all the dishes the meat was disgusting. The chicken barely seemed cooked in the pho ga and had thick hairy skin on it!! The bbq pork was def not flavored. Just thick grizzly slices of boiled meat with no flavor. There was no kimchi in the banh mi just some paste smeared on. That said, the pho/soup was flavorful and I'm grateful the stop wasn't a complete waste of time. Had to leave this review to ensure others don't make the same mistake I did with the banh mis!!! read more

I ordered the mixed vermicelli plate, which came with chicken, egg roll, and a pork chop. The noodles were either not cooked or the wrong kind bc it was awful. Very disappointing bc that's the main thing for the dish. The meat was ok. Seemed like it was boiled and then grilled for browning. The egg roll was also not too good. I also ordered a pork bhan mi sandwich. The only good thing about it was the bread. The only reason I ordered from this place was bc Ben Tre is closed on Tuesdays. I will not return to this place again. read more

Was excited to try a new Vietnamese spot with good reviews. Came in expecting some good but left feeling unsatisfied. We ordered a few items: combination pho extra tripe, cold cut banh mi with Vietnamese ice coffee, bun Bo hue (special request for egg noodle ) My daughter liked the combo pho. It was solid according to her. The bun Bo hue however left much to be desired. The beef was tough with avg portions and the worst part is they used ramen noodles to substitute for actual egg noodle. This totally ruined it for me. The broth was also salty and didn't have that rich bun Bo hue flavor I'm used to. The garnesh was also lacking for the soups. Just a bit of basil, sprouts , cilantro but no cabbage for the bunbohue. My wife liked the banh mi but indicated that there wasn't enough pate or maybe had none. Probably wouldn't come back here as there are a lot of better spots near me in Daly City and ssf read more

Very happy to welcome this new Vietnamese/pho place to San Bruno. Our first order was dac biet # 1 and a rice combo meal with grilled pork. The pho is a tad missing in flavor. It had flat noodles instead of vermicelli. But, I love the ambiance and attentive service. With all white furniture and white walls, it gave off a cool and clean vibe. My favorite part while eating here was the comforting aroma of black tea brewing. Made me crave for their iced tea. One good reason to come back and try their other dishes. read more

Super clean and friendly establishment. Came here on a Monday afternoon and it was fairly empty with a few patrons. Service was good and they were really friendly and accommodating. Food was so so. My friend and I both ordered the large Pho Tai (rare beef) with thin rice noodle but it came out in a small and wide rice noodle. The fried egg roll was the most disappointing; not crispy, more so stale with very little filling inside. Overall, not really impressed by the food but service was good read more

Ever since my goto place in San Bruno has gone downhill, I've been searching for a new place to get my pho. I found two places and this is one of them. The other I won't name here, but if you read my reviews, you'd know. This place has a nice, clean Ma and Pop feel to it. It's small with about 10 tables and it's usually quiet here as it's still quite new. There's a part of me that would love to keep this a secret, but this place deserves to be busy. The pho is as good as I've had in this area. The soup is delicious and their salt and pepper chicken wings are amazing, juicy and a great way to start off a meal. Another plus is the parking as it's in a strip mall and spots are abundant. The staff is friendly and they offer a nice variety of refreshments. read more

We ordered via DoorDash and got a viet coffee and cold cut viet sandwich combo and a bun rieu. The bun rieu was not bad, but lacked some flavor. It was just okay. The viet coffee tasted water down and the viet sandwich was just not good. The bun seemed like a sweet roll and not the usual baguette. The spread also tasted like there was a lot of Mayo and Americanized. Unfortunately, we will probably not order again. read more

New Vietnamese restaurant that opened up in Towne Center, I found their ingredients very fresh and high quality. I ordered a combo #1 pho as well as a garlic noodle.
