Chicken pho was incredibly rich! Had to add water to cut the saltiness a bit. The chicken strips were plenty, noodles a bit clumped together. not enough greens in my opinion. I love basil, etc. And always put in all the greens. What a hidden gem! The portion is very generous with great price. I ordered the lemongrass pork chops with vermicelli - $13 with two pieces of big meat in a big bowl full of goodness. It's enough to feed two regular-sized adults, IMO. Food was flavorful. I'll come back to try other dishes!
Came here for dinner. The banh mi sandwiches were good. Service is straightforward. Sort of eat then go. Will come back to try rest of menu after this return visit.

When it's cold, I always crave pho, and this is my go-to place since it's close to home and clean with a nice dining area. The three of us ordered two bowls of pho, a grilled pork vermicelli, and one Vietnamese iced coffee. The young waitress doesn't speak Chinese, so if you talk to her in Chinese, she won't understand you--but it's not that she's rude. Our food came out very quickly, which I appreciated because I was hungry. There's plenty of parking, so that's never an issue. They now have a kiosk where you can place your own order if you prefer. I'll definitely come back when I'm craving a bowl of pho.
Came in on a Saturday evening as the original restaurant that my friend and I wanted to go to was closed. The restaurant was brightly lit and had a lot of available seating. Your typical Asian/Vietnamese style restaurant. Ambiance was quite quiet since they wasn't a lot of people other than some takeouts. They had a kiosk near the front where you can order or you can order in front with the owner as well. Restaurant was pretty clean and also had videos playing food from Vietnam on the TV. Service was decent; owner brought over waters and the food came out in a timely manner. I tried: 1) #8 - Combo #1 with vermicelli(Pork Chop, Chicken Wing and Egg Roll)(6.2/10) - A decent bowl of vermicelli noodles. The portion size for the price was very reasonable; a lot of vermicelli noodles, veggies(lettuce, pickled carrots and daikons, bean sprouts and cucumbers), 2 grilled pork chops, 3 chicken wings(drums and wings) and 1 egg roll. Overall the dish was just okay - didn't wow me other than the portion size. The pork chops were marinated well and grilled well, not dry at all. The highlight of the bowl was the chicken wings, those were cooked really well - light, crispy, hot and juicy! The one let down was the eggroll.....I didn't finish this since it had a funky taste...not sure if it was the seasoning or something else. Also, the fish sauce mix was just okay; it lacked the usual umami you get from fish sauce...maybe a bit too diluted; wasn't to my liking. Overall, its a okay Vietnamese restaurant and very affordable. But wouldn't go out of my way to come here.
Decided to grab a quick hearty sandwich for lunch and wound up at Viet Time. Definitely a good choice. I ordered a grilled pork sandwich to go. The Sandwich was relatively a good size especially for the price (under $10). The bread was still warm and crispy on the outside and the grilled pork was tender and delicious! Will definitely go back and try other selections of food offered on their menu .. (There's a sandwich combo with iced coffee or milk tea for a very reasonable price.. can't beat that.)
The Thai Tea was a miss for me. Very powdery, and the milk didn't fully mix in, leaving it clumpy. On the other hand, the Garlic Noodles were tasty, not too oily, and a solid value at $8. I personally wouldn't pay double the price to add protein, but the noodles themselves satisfied my craving. I ordered at the counter for takeout, and my order was ready in under 15 minutes, which was super convenient. The menu has so many options I'd love to try, and I'm definitely planning to come back to explore more dishes.
Amazingly good Bahn Mi with very generous portion of meat. I got the grilled pork. Excellent bread roll with a thin crunchy crust. I would have preferred a bit more grilling sear but it was almost perfect. I would have also preferred the cilantro to be on top instead of under the meat. Very friendly service.

It wasn't too busy or loud, so we were accommodated easily when ordering our lunch. Prior to arriving, we already saw the food on Yelp and they all looked so good! My friend and I split the Garlic Noodles with Grilled Chicken and a Grilled Pork Banh Mi to share since we wanted to try both. The bread was a little hard, but the rest of the sandwich was very flavorful! The garlic noodles with chicken were very flavorful as well. I would come back again for the same dishes, as well as try their drinks!
I stopped in for a bowl of Pho on New Year's Day. The staff here are incredibly kind and welcoming, which I really appreciated. However, the Pho itself wasn't quite to my taste. The broth had a very intense beef flavor that felt a bit overwhelming, and I found myself wishing for more spice and complexity. While I'm sure those who prefer a heavy, beef-forward broth would love it, it wasn't the right fit for me and I couldn't quite finish the bowl.
Came back here for a quick lunch. The combo pho my partner got was okay but the bun rieu was delicious! I'd definitely get it again. The service was a little slower this time but the food was consistently the same. The portions and pricing are better than some places in the Bay Area and the service is normally nice. I prefer to get their non-pho soup noodle dishes since they're better than their pho imo. Will be back to try their other soups!

This is my first time to this restaurant, let's see how it went: Parking is shared with the other restaurants in the immediate area. Inside was a modestly lit atmosphere which works well with what they are trying to achieve. The service was nice and friendly. The food we had was the buy 4 get 1 feee deal: 3 chicken 1 pork 1 beef Banh mi sandwiches which had No Authentic Vietnamese style or taste. In this case, l am not sure what the Flavor goals were to be; Not sure if I will be coming back. read more

A pretty good casual pho spot. There's plenty to like here. The portions are generous , reasonably priced. The meat is perfectly tender and noodles are great. The broth, however, could use more flavor. The peanut sauce was unique. Their is less think, more light beige and soupy. Not sure it's for me. Don't skip out on dessert. The mango pudding was great. The strong fluorescent lights make it more feel more stressful to eat there. read more

My mom and I swung by here in between apartment tour sessions, and we got the chicken rice dish and #1 pho. The broth was exceptional and the rice dish was so savory! Absolutely stacked with meat and veggies to the brim. Really homey vibes with authentic dishes, definitely a great place to go for a simple atmosphere and comfortable portions. read more
We came here for dinner a few days ago because we always see this spot pop up whenever we're looking for dinner ideas. I'm happy to say we were pleasantly surprised by this spot & will gladly return! I was feeling a little under the weather so wanted something soupy and nothing cures you more than a nice hot bowl of pho! My fiancé and I both ordered the combo pho #1 which was flavorful and surprisingly the beef brisket & rare beef weren't rough in texture or too chewy. Sometimes I feel like the restaurants make the cuts too thick and the meat is super tough to chew. The person at the table next to us ordered a vermicelli bowl and honestly it smelled so good! If I weren't under the weather I definitely would've ordered that. Overall, a great little spot near where we live & will return to try the other dishes. Also just genuinely like supporting small local businesses. read more

This family owned restaurant is tucked in the corner just to the left of Starbucks. It can get pretty busy around lunchtime due to its surrounding and a lot of people who work nearby drop in for a bite. Their Bun Rieu is hands down one of my all time favorites, I seriously crave it all the time! I hope they never change the recipe! The portion is one size but generous, and I always leave feeling full and satisfied. The broth is packed with rich, savory flavor. As for the vermicelli bowls, I was shocked by how big the portion was. The bowl they serve it in is honestly too small for how much you get (time for an upgrade, haha). I tried the grilled pork, and it was nicely seasoned. The fish sauce it came with added a perfect touch of umami sweetness. read more
First of all, they are not stingy with the noodles! We ordered at the counter and sat ourselves. A man came around with waters. I was grateful that they didn't put ice in em. Service is no frills. Inside is clean. The food came out quickly and was steaming hot! Definitely exceeded expectations and now I know why it got a 4.0 rating. I'll be returning soon. Very soon. read more
2025 update. Viet Time was empty at 7pm on a Monday evening. I usually eat at La Salsa when I'm in this strip mall. Then I remembered I've never tried Viet Time's grilled pork garlic noodles $14. This dish was OK. Flavorful grilled pork and mild garlic taste noodles. It wasn't greasy enough. The tips of the garlic noodles were burnt, which was good. It needed a lot more garlic flavor. Also missing were some sort of vegetables. Green onions (scallions), Vietnamese picked carrots or daikon (radish) would have been nice. The restaurant remains too clean for my liking for a Vietnamese restaurant. read more

Came here on a Thursday night, moderately busy. We were able to get a seat less than 5 mins. Fast service and sufficient. Restaurant has its simple atmosphere. Menu not complicated and straight forward. I felt the food was over priced but for the portion they served it was reasonable. I felt they had more mobile orders than sit down customers. The banh mi sandwiches looked so good I may try that next time! read more
I tried this place one time before this visit, (ordered 2 Bahn Mi sandwiches - combo and pork), and had a great experience that I thought to try their large bowl of Pho Ga, fried egg rolls, and an extra side of broth this time around. The first thing that stood out when I was preparing my meal when I got home was how small the Pho bowl was. After opening it up, to me, it was barely a size small portion as there were less than 7 cut pieces of chicken inside. I wasn't provided Hoisin or Sirracha sauces for the soup or pickled carrots and daikon with the egg rolls which I had asked for. Regardless, I started adding the sprouts, jalapeños, broth, and warmed it all together to a steep temp. First slurp of the soup, it's delicious. The fried egg rolls complimented the soup but would of been nice to have the pickled items that was supposed to accompany it. Overall, it was still a satisfying experience! read more

We found this place on Yelp. Fairly new. Dropped by and ordered take out. We got chicken garlic noodles and chicken vermicelli with egg roll. The portions are ginormous! We can eat this for lunch and dinner. Chicken tastes good. It was not dry or burnt. Would consider coming back. read more

Came to Viet Time for dinner and it was empty inside with one person waiting for their togo order. We got the bun rieu and cold cut sandwich combo. For the bun rieu, the soup was tasty and the portion was big, however the noodles were a bit undercooked. The sandwich was very good and packed with meat. I got the milk tea to go with the combo and their milk tea is Hong Kong style with condensed milk which was also very good. We sat closer to the back of the restaurant and it was pretty loud. From the sound of the tv to the moving of stuff in the back and the front of the house talking. I would come again for the sandwich combo but probably would not dine in again. read more

My family and I went to this place for Banh Mi. We were able to sit down right away and be served immediately. Upon arrival, we received hot tea, which was really warm. The host was speedy in service and served our food promptly. The restaurant itself is bright and welcoming. The best Banh Mi that we ate would definitely be the Grilled Beef. It was flavorful and tender. Would definitely come back to order the same Banh Mi again! read more

Came by on a Saturday afternoon for a snack! Cute indoor space, not a ton of seating but cozy. Super nice staff. + grilled pork bahn mi: opted for jalapeños but they weren't that spicy. Pork was juicy and well seasoned though it didn't seem grilled (maybe pan seared or warmed in oven?). Bread was soft inside with crusty outside. Could've used a bit more veg to round out the bahn mi, but it was still solid. Staff asked if we wanted it cut in half - yes please! + chicken wings: omg these were amazing. Hot out of the fryer, crisp skin, insanely juicy and well seasoned. Only 7 flats in an order for $9. Sprinkling of seasoned green onions and chopped jalapeños on top. Wish there were more. Despite the jalapeños, it wasn't spicy and my kids fought over these. I wish the staff could've noticed that we were a table of 4 and brought some small plates for us to use, but the kids didn't mind since they were hunched over the plate fighting over the wings. + 3 color drink: nice ratio of coconut milk, condensed milk, red and mung bean mash at bottom and the green jelly. Not too much ice. Yum. Def interested in stopping by in the future to try out other dishes! read more
To go order was small and sad. This place has had the worst turnover in this strip mall. It was like a sandwich place and something something else and now this. Okay, back to the small portion Pho. Grabbed my to-go order and was still left hungry. The eggrolls were super chewy by the way, and the thai tea at nearly $6 was pricey and watery. Didn't and haven't tried their banh mi sandwich, but based on my to go order, I won't be back. It'll probably be another restaurant at this rate in another year or two. read more
