    Thai Iced Tea
    Allister D.

Excellent Thai restaurant and super clean with such friendly staff. The kind gentleman, Phil, was patient with me since it was my first time. Because I ordered a pretty good set of food and had to wait a bit, he automatically offered my fresh cold water as I waited. Once I received my to-go order, I was surprised with an extra Thai iced tea which was so kind and generous. This made me super happy because the drink itself is my favorite Thai iced tea to date. It's creamy and has silky texture. I thoroughly enjoyed their Pad Sew Ew which was bold in flavor and darker than most of the others I've had. I think they put in extra of the sauce in this dish because it's more pronounced and tastier. The beef is cooked perfectly as well as the broccoli. The crispy tofu is fresh and goes perfectly with the sweet chili sauce. The Tom Kha soup was delicious and had a nice creamy thick texture. I loved the red chili that was included inside because it provided a nice subtle heat which also made the mushrooms and chicken stick out with more flavor. Overall, the food here is fantastic and definitely one of my favorite Thai restaurants right now. The food is fresh, the service is so nice and friendly, the place is clean with an urban decor. It's a must try in this little neighborhood. I would love to come back again.

Ordered online from uber eat. The items are different from what the pictures. No shrimp in tom yum soup. Only some pieces of chicken in pad Thai. Cucumber salad is flavorless.

Server was really sweet. Curry puffs were good. Spicy basil I would not order either bamboo as the bamboo had a really strong overpowering flavor to it. Yellow curry was good. All if the chicken though was dry. Calamari was ok. I would not order again. The other dish I can't remember what it was called. The milk to Thai tea ratio was a tad off. I thought it was a bit too much milk. Hard to find parking as it's all street in the area. We parked up the street in a public lot. Inside was cute, clean, and bathroom was clean.

Literally have no idea? You can't see it but it's literally so much pineapple and tomatoes and peanuts?

I ordered off of Uber Eats (it was BOGO). It was supposed to be the (Num Tok Moo) and I'm literally at a loss of what I received? It was a salad, with maybe 3 pieces of pork, so many tomatoes, and PINEAPPLE like so much pineapple. I'm literally at a loss of what they even gave me?

I ordered spicy basil pork and ginger chicken. Can you tell which is which from the pics? Of course not, they both taste very bland. Spicy basil pork with no ground pork (pad kra pao) and totally diffeeent from ad. Ginger chicken no taste at all. Laziest chef ever cuz every dish look the same, this place makes Panda Express deserves a Michelin star. Will not order from this place again, fool me once, can't fool me twice

We have 8 of us gathering for Chinese new year and celebrating a birthday. We picked this restaurant because is in the neighborhood and is much quieter to talk. The owner is the waiter all by himself and yes a little slow service but he managed fine. The food come out good except the fired calamari that was burn and all of the dishes were fine. We love to support small businesses restaurant (mom and pops restaurant) and all my friends like it. I think we will come back!

This place is such a hidden gem tucked away on a little side street. The food is super authentic and the portions are huge--you definitely get your money's worth. Every dish is packed with flavor, fresh, and beautifully presented. The restaurant itself is clean and has a really nice, relaxed vibe that makes you want to stay and enjoy your meal. On top of that, the staff are incredibly warm and friendly, which makes the whole experience even better. If you're looking for real Thai food beyond the usual spots, this is the place to go.

Placed a take out order for lunch and the lady on the phone was helpful and kind. I ordered a spicy basil with ground chicken. I enjoyed the flavors but wish there were more chicken, basil and other veggies. It was mostly onions with some bell peppers sprinkled in. Overall flavor was there. I forgot to take a picture until half way through but you can see it's mostly onions and the rice I added. I would order from them again maybe a different dish though.

Aww, man, this place is yummy! I've been searching for a papaya salad like the one I had in Pahoa, HI for a decade and finally found it with with Issan Style. So good, savory full of flavor. Strong fish sauce, but I love that! Satay was fantastic and spicy pork belly (got on recommendation here) was killer too. Don't sleep on this place if you're sleeping over at the airport hotels. Well with my 20 minute walk. To think, I could've ended up at Wendy's. Sorry for the less than lovely pic, I was hangry.

I went here with my friend around Tuesday at noon and this place was packed! There was only one poor guy manning the entire front and he was definitely overwhelmed. This definitely echoed my experience when I went to White Elephant Thai restaurant (see my review https://www.yelp.com/biz/white-elephant-restaurant-south-san-francisco-2?hrid=a6QobqD6qZMEq2DJMkimjw&utm) and as this is a sister restaurant, I can't say that I'm surprised. I do feel bad for the servwe as he was waiting on tables, taking orders, and also preparing orders for delivery services too! When it comes to the food, it was definitely great that it was the sister restaurant of White Elephant because the quality, great portion sizes, and authentic flavor is all still there! We ordered the crab fried rice, pad see ew with beef, pad Thai with chicken, and another pad Thai with beef (we were planning dinner to go too hehe). The food came out pretty quick and had tons of flavor. Loved the quality and portions of the food here. As for ambiance, the restaurant is pretty small and has some cool murals on the two main walls. It was pretty packed and people were even waiting outside during this prime weekday lunchtime. As for parking, there is street parking so could be hit or miss! Overall, will definitely come back but would suggest more help for the staff in the front for better efficiency!

My boyfriend enjoyed his Lanzhou beef noodles a lot, the beef was tender and the broth was incredibly flavorful and delicious. He liked the pork burger a lot as well, they did not skimp on the meat and the bun was fluffy! I would highly recommend this dish to anyone, it's a classic that is done well! I don't eat porridge often, usually when really under the weather so I'm fortunate to not gone to get some in a while. I called my pickup order since I didn't see an online option. The store front is Ichi Ramen so it's confusing in case you get lost in the busy plaza. I ordered shrimp, fish and plain porridge (congee) along with beef chow fun. 4 dishes total. Total came out to under $60 and it was a heavy bag! The porridge has a nice thick consistency without being runny. It had flavor to not need seasoning and surprisingly large portions of seafood. The chow fun was decent but I've definitely tasted better. Kinda pricy at $18 though the beef slices were big. I appreciated it wasn't as oily as other chow fun I've had so easy to eat without feeling kinda gross after. Solid value, good food, and worth a rec for porridge. All in all, I'd definitely return. 4.5 stars.

For some proteins, it is advisable to get an extra bowl to remove the protein as it will overcook in the crazy hot congee. The friend Chinese donut was crispy and airy, slightly oily so fryer oil may have needed to be hotter and fry cook need to slow down and let oil temp recover. Place does get busy quick and may need to wait for a table though.

They do have outdoor seating, not that it would help much when the lunch crowd is huge. Since the store name emphasizes on Hainan chicken, i havent quite explored their other menu items. First time I had the Hainan chicken rice plate, another time I had the noodle version. Funnily I find their rice plate version smaller portioned than the noodle soup, however it's not a true Hainan chicken experience without having oil rice. Both dishes serve Hainan chicken with scallion oil marinade and roasted peanuts. While noodles have oyster mushroom and spinach, rice plate has pickled veggies. Overall it gets the craving settled, its not the greatest though. The noodle soup was an interesting option. It feels a bit like when youre making noodle soup at home and just tossed in random toppings. I had corn, spinach, oyster mushroom. Definitely not a combo I see commonly. The soup was not bad, its drinkable, not salt at all. However its a bit odd to pair it with Hainan chicken, perhaps better with fishcake or meat balls, I did see a meatballs version. They do have other noodle style and broths to choose from, such as hot and sour, laksa. They do offer fish paste noodle if you want a teeny tiny bit more protein. Overall food is okay. It's nothing to rave about, even though I love Hainan chicken.
