Very warm welcoming feeling as soon as we entered the restaurant. Quick and friendly service. I didn't even have to ask for refills, dessert, or a box to take home. They were already on it. Delicious food, I wish I would've taken a picture, but was too busy stuffing my face. Now, what really got me, was when she packed my to go bag for me, she put a fresh cup of rice. I've never had that happen. Would definitely return in my next visit please support local businesses.

Note: Good about gluten stuff (for intolerants at least)... Offered wheat free soy sauce. Have a feeling this place stays alive based on generosity and sweet vibes. Food is hugely portioned... My pad Thai is easily two portions. And The sweet lady that served me (owner?) was fun and friendly to talk to and threw in an extra tapioca pudding. This is Maybe in the bottom 30% of pad Thai's I have ever had but it's not terrible. Salad Kaak leaves a lot to be desired with the iceberg lettuce and potato chips. Decor is pretty basic, especially the bathroom.

Chicken pad Thai 10/10 also tried the shrimp fried rice & egg rolls all so good customer service is also 10/10 - A dish of Pad Thai topped with shredded carrots, cabbage, crushed peanuts, served with orange slices on a white plate.

Came here one night with friends since we all decided to check out something new. I love a good Thai place and this one did not disappoint! We got their Tom Yum Kai which was perfect since it was one of those cool nights and this soup was perfect and satisfied each of us. Didn't expect one of server would come out and serve us the soup. The place is a little old but the food we had was delicious and recommended to other friends and you should try when in town!

The service was excellent. Our server was kind, responsive and friendly. The food was fresh and the portions were large.

Yelpers didn't go wrong with Pacifica Thai Cuisine. What I appreciate most about this cozy local gem is the delicious honest food, staff and ambiance. It's just an honest to goodness great place that's been here for decades and I truly respect that, in an era where most restaurants get too fancy with chaotic music and weird fusion menus for the sake of being "cool." But not here. This husband and wife team deserve all the patronage, they are hardworking and genuinely friendly folks. Upon entering, the wife came out from back, greeted us right away and offered us to pick any table. We ordered some beer, Tom Yum Koong and Pad Thai. Fairly basic items but there was something special about each of them. The beer was ICE cold and also came with a frosty mug. I don't know why most restaurants/bars don't offer the frosty mug anymore but it's a detail that shows an extra level of thoughtfulness for their customers. Next, the Tom Yum Koong soup, which came out quickly. Note: a medium level heat is still fairly tolerable. The highlight of this soup was a surprising slight sweetness, we couldn't place where from but it was pleasant and overall delicious. Lastly, the well plated shrimp Pad Thai with generous sauce had excellent depth of flavor. We were so impressed with a tasty affordable dinner, which came out to less than $60. I also appreciated the little tamarind candy that came with the bill. Parking is easy as there's a small lot in front and street parking. There are so many small details to love at Pacifica Thai. We look forward to returning soon!

I was finishing off a hike around Mori Point when I thought I'd pick up some takeout food before heading home. I really had no idea what to expect. I guess I was in the mood for Thai food and just didn't want to make an emotional investment in it. I walked over from the trailhead and entered an empty restaurant save one young bewildered-looking couple. I ordered a couple of dishes. The entree was the $9.95 A Pad Suki Yaki, definitely a kitchen sink pile of glass noodles mixed with prawns, squid, chicken, tofu, egg, bean sprouts, Napa cabbage, green onions, and ground peanuts (photo: https://yelp.to/ifTg2lGG4B). It was OK but kind of a mess. I was also disappointed by the absence of pan-fried noodles as described in the menu. Better was my side dish, the $6.95 Vegetarian's Delight which consisted of pieces of deep-fried tofu and taro root (photo: https://yelp.to/Ttd4HtHAy9). While I didn't care for the too-sweet homemade sauce, the veggie take on fries actually worked. Despite my disappointments, I might come back for the barbecue or one of the curries, but to be honest, I'm not in a hurry. FOOD - 3 stars...middling mess with random high points AMBIANCE - 3 stars...pretty sparse SERVICE - 3 stars...quickly packaged TOTAL - 3 stars...kinda off RELATED - Exploring the peninsula south of San Francisco? All the food upheld the 20 minute drive home. Chicken wings were delightfully stuffed and crispy. Entree were still warm and not too oily. I love that there is a bit of sear on the pad se ew noodles. The gal who rang me up was kind and speedy. They kept the thai tea cold until pick up which shows great customer service. There are plenty of places who leave your Togo drink on the counter until pick up and this place doesn't do that. Restaurant was practically empty and very clean. To-go portions are served in smaller black rectangular containers, which is much different than when they used to have the wider square white containers. I'm not sure if ownership changed hands because their menu had also changed and the previous specials aren't offered anymore. They have different specials now and they're not as good as before. As a small business, you would appreciate your customers whether they dine-in or order to-go. The lady I received the food from during pick up barely smiled and didn't express any sign of appreciation for choosing to order from their establishment. Especially in today's tipping culture where it's mainly based on service received, a smile and simple "thank you" goes a long way. There is never a line to wait and sit down here (at least I haven't seen one) so that might give you an idea of the restaurant's dine-in popularity. I would only order from here if we were really craving thai and too lazy to venture outside of Westborough area.

I might consider getting the fish on the side since the sauce made the breading a little soggy. The green curry chicken was very good as well. Broth could be a little thicker, but flavor and spice level were great. Not too soicy. The fried chicken over fried rice was pretty good, with a nice crunch to the chicken. It was pretty empty when we got there, so service was fast and cordial. All in all, it's one of the better Thai spots I've been too. I've actually been here a few times, but finally got a chance to review. One thing to point out, however, is sample tip calculation includes the sales tax. My husband ordered a Roast Duck Noodle Soup, our little one ordered Fried Chicken Over Fried Rice, I ordered the Massaman Curry with Chicken, and we ordered Fried Banana with Ice Cream to share. The Roast Duck Noodle Soup tasted delicious it was not too heavy on the lighter side not too salty and overall we all thought it tasted well. The star of the show was the dish our little one ordered the Fried Chicken Over Fried Rice everything about this dish married well with each other and tasted spectacular. The Massaman Curry with Chicken was ok it wasn't my family's favorite, the Roti and Cucumber Salad that it came with was ok Roti too crispy for me, Cucumber Salad was super small portion I was expecting a bigger portion and the Curry itself was a tad bit too salty for my liking...I find that it would have been nice if it was served over a bed of rice instead of with Roti. Also my Curry dish was full of chicken pieces and very little potato pieces...please please more potatoes next time. As for the dessert it was good can't go wrong with dessert. Also at one point one of our plates had a little dead gnat on it but the waitress was so attentive when I pointed it out to her she changed the plate setting right away, thank you!! Maybe when I come again next time I can get a different dish. Other than that the place is well kept small and tucked away from a busy street, I believe my family and I know of this restaurant because we passed by a few times while going to other neighboring stores and restaurant.

The noodles were actually a pleasant surprise and very different from what I expected but really tasty. The wings were super good too, especially with the sauce on the side so you can control how much you want. The clay pot dish was just okay, nothing bad but nothing that really stood out either. The highlight for me was definitely the steak and eggs! it was cooked well and probably the most satisfying dish we ordered. Unfortunately, the Pad See Ew was a letdown. The dish was greasy, lacked depth of flavor, and had very little beef. I ended up contacting customer support to request a partial refund because the portion of protein was so disappointing. For a dish like Pad See Ew, you expect tender slices of beef, chewy rice noodles, and a balanced savory and slightly sweet soy flavor with a bit of char from the wok, but this version fell short. I'll be back, but to do the take-out only. I was first introduced to Thai cuisine in early 1970s when Uncle Sam sent me to Thailand's Royal Thai Air Force Bases on several but each brief round-trips. Some trips were so brief, that when we landed I'd rush to a Thai food vendor, often accompanied by several of my fellow travelers, get Thai food take-out, and rush back to the C-130A Hercules transport, where after we'd completed the off-loading then on-loading of personnel, we'd savor our Thai treats on the trip back while strapped to the side of a bulkhead or the hull. Thai food worked well at dealing with the smell of aviation exhaust that permeates our craft's cargo hold, which is already stuffy. We'd tried several other foods but only Thai food was able to put up a fight for flavor against a C-130's engines. I learned each of Thailand's different regions has developed its own style of cuisine and has dishes that are quite different from those of other regions. Thai food from Issarn, in the northeast of Thailand, shares many similarities with cuisine from neighboring Laos, though Thai versions of the dishes, such as Som Tam, are a lot heavier on the chili. Southern curries on the other hand, are less spicy, with a greater Malaysian influence, and feature more coconut and turmeric. I prefer Northern Thai food. P.S. Don't message me because in spite of my several complaints to yelp, for years now I am unable to open up any messages in yelp to me :-(
