Great service and food! I always stop in for some coffee with milk when I visit the market next store. Their Vietnamese coffee is the BEST in town. They are quick to take your order and getting to go is always speedy. They take great care packing up your items individually as well (see photo). The atmosphere was upbeat, there was vietnamese music playing on the tv screens. Yet the place wasn't clean, the dishes were dirty and there was some black stuff on it that I had to wipe off. The service was questionable. I had to call over the servers to order my food multiple times, it was hard to find a server available to take my order. I had the Hủ Tiếu Xào Bông cải carrot it wasn't as good as the noodles as it lacked the fried flavor and wok smell that I was aiming for. The Bô Lúc Lác did not have that much meat, the portion was small and mainly just leafy greens like watercrest, onions, and tomatoes to fill the plate. The fried rice was good, it had the wok smell and was hot and fresh. It could've been better if it was moist since the fried rice was very dry. The Canh Chua Cá/Sweet and Sour soup was very good. The soup was sweet and not too sour. The fish was also cooked perfectly and buttery and smooth. Yet, the orca was not cooked and hard to eat, like it was just tossed in before I got my food. I also ordered a Taro bubble tea Without crystal boba and a honeydew With boba. Yet, both bobas were Not fully blended as there was still boba powder that I could taste and take out in both drinks? Fantastic establishment with hefty portions and delicious food. We walked in before a mid afternoon rush the inside had a good amount of seating that filled up relatively quickly, despite that we got our food shortly after ordering. Word of caution the large portion of pho is in fact very large, not necessarily more meat but definitely more broth and noodles. So if more meat is what you're looking for just order a side of that. The sauces on the table were amazing, finally a chili oil that tasted like something! The server was very attentive and the tv screen with the Vietnam slide show was cool to watch. My friend brought me to this little restaurant for the first time this weekend. It's in a small plaza with just a couple of other businesses, I've driven past this place many times but I've never noticed it was there. The look of the plaza is a bit run down, but the inside of this restaurant is very cute and aesthetically pleasing. It's very welcoming, as far as the decor is concerned. I ordered the chicken pho - it was delicious. The broth is flavored nicely and it came with a very good serving of chicken and noodles with all of the extras on the side. I also ordered the thai tea with boba - the boba they gave me was not the traditional tapioca, it was like a fruit jelly which wasn't what I asked for, but the thai tea itself tasted good. My friend ordered the crab fried rice - I tried some and it was really tasty. My one complaint with this place is the service. We had to wave our hands to flag down our server - and even that didn't work sometimes. They were not very attentive at all. The only time they came to our table at any point was when we went out of our way to get their attention and call them over. Don't ever go there. The service is absolutely horrible, and the owner is terrible. First, they forgot one of the dishes we ordered, and we had to even remind them that they forgot it. The waitress and owner were both terrible (which made us even more mad that they added a 18% gratuity fee for such horrible service). We wouldn't even have given tip in the first place because the service was horrible, yet they forced it down our bill. They are also not organized because they didn't even bring out water or utensils for us to eat our food. Also, they seated us with people despite our party being a big size, which made us uncomfortable eating. The food is nothing special, not good but not the worst. The worst part of coming today was the service. They seated us like beggars by squishing us together with other people. One of the staff even yelled at my cousin in Vietnamese "why are you so dirty" for accidentally spilling the nuoc mam. And the waiter also told us to sit down because they had a table ready, but they didn't even have chairs fully available for us. So when we asked for chairs, they gave us an attitude. Please don't ever go here. The food is bad (nothing special), service is terrible, and they are so unorganized and rude. The owner and waitresses were dirty and rude. This restaurant sits at the corner of the Lien Hoa market and is easy to find but the turn to get into the plaza might get you if you're not familiar with the area. The restaurant is a bit small if you're going to have a big party of just enough to host a good amount of parties of 2-4 people. Staff were very attentive and menu wasn't overbearing. We got the spring rolls, fried rice and pho. Our spring rolls didn't come out but it was fine since I was full by the time we paid for our bill. Pho: 5/5! Didn't even need the condiments! Canh chua cá kho tộ good but for my taste I wanted a little bit more sugar in the canh chua and cá kho tộ. If they add a little bit pork belly to the cá kho tộ and cooked it a little bit longer so the caramel & fish sauce made a fish tasty. Despite the dining area being open, occupied by other customers, and having available seating, I was told by a staff member that I could not sit down and was only allowed to order to go. We also tried the artichoke drink, which was lightly sweetened. The oysters here are quite yummy, surprisingly tasty. The banana leaf and shrimp salad was good, the banana leaf was good at least. The mango salad with escargot was good, although I had asked for the Jack fruit salad. The caramelized fish was lovely as well, piping hot and came out in a stone pot, very Koreaneaque.
