The good: shaken beef and nice servers. The ok: ca kho to (clay pot fish) fish is bland unless drowning in sauce, they needed to be marinate longer. Quails were nicely flavored but it was just 2 quails, cut in halves... more veggies than meat to fill up the plate. Fried chicken was done right on the outer layer, nicely crispy but what happened to the inside flavor? Like it was brined for too long. The bad: crispy tofu, crispy yes, flavor was almost non existent. Fried rice was so dryyy, it's not even crispy, just dry, needed more salt. The rau muong xao toi (morning glory) was bland, need more seasoning, tasted more steamed than stirfried.

Said it before and I'll say it again, best PHO in Tampa! I love coming here on cold gloomy days this Pho is so flavorful and brings me back to life! Huge portion and quick service! Small cozy restaurant tucked away in a small plaza located on the corner of DaleMabry and Waters! FYI bring cash as if you pay by card they charge a fee since it's a small mom and pop place.

Great service and food! I always stop in for some coffee with milk when I visit the market next store. Their Vietnamese coffee is the BEST in town. They are quick to take your order and getting to go is always speedy. They take great care packing up your items individually as well (see photo). When I do take time to stay and eat, it never disappoints. They staff is friendly, very quick, and the food is delicious. I highly recommend if you haven't tried their pho yet! The inside is so cute and inviting and you will always be greeted as soon as you walk in

This is a hidden Jem! Broth is so flavorful and they don't go light on the noodles! Meat tasted fresh @ they gave us all the fix'ins. Staff was so friendly, will be coming here again!

The atmosphere was upbeat, there was vietnamese music playing on the tv screens. Yet the place wasn't clean, the dishes were dirty and there was some black stuff on it that I had to wipe off. The service was questionable. I had to call over the servers to order my food multiple times, it was hard to find a server available to take my order. I had the Hủ Tiếu Xào Bông cải carrot it wasn't as good as the noodles as it lacked the fried flavor and wok smell that I was aiming for. The Bô Lúc Lác did not have that much meat, the portion was small and mainly just leafy greens like watercrest, onions, and tomatoes to fill the plate. The fried rice was good, it had the wok smell and was hot and fresh. It could've been better if it was moist since the fried rice was very dry. The Canh Chua Cá/Sweet and Sour soup was very good. The soup was sweet and not too sour. The fish was also cooked perfectly and buttery and smooth. Yet, the orca was not cooked and hard to eat, like it was just tossed in before I got my food. I also ordered a Taro bubble tea Without crystal boba and a honeydew With boba. Yet, both bobas were Not fully blended as there was still boba powder that I could taste and take out in both drinks? My taro had bubble boba in it even though I did not order it. The boba drinks seemed rushed and not properly prepared. At the end, there was at least some complimentary chè.

Fantastic establishment with hefty portions and delicious food. We walked in before a mid afternoon rush the inside had a good amount of seating that filled up relatively quickly, despite that we got our food shortly after ordering. Word of caution the large portion of pho is in fact very large, not necessarily more meat but definitely more broth and noodles. So if more meat is what you're looking for just order a side of that. The sauces on the table were amazing, finally a chili oil that tasted like something! The server was very attentive and the tv screen with the Vietnam slide show was cool to watch. Will definitely be back soon, this is the place to beat!

I had the chicken pho ga. It was so delicious. Well seasoned and I loved all the veggies that was in it. The service was great and the ambiance was very relaxing. I will definitely be visiting here again.

Craving a boba drink & happened to be in the area. Ordered a fruit tea & it was very refreshing. Freshly made to order & fast. Very small restaurant. Will have to come back & try the foods here.

Authentic! My husband said this was one of the top three bowls of pho he has had in his life--chock full of meat and a delicious broth. I had a healthy but tasty dish of stir-fried tofu, mushrooms, bean sprouts, green onions and carrots. We also had mango bubble tea with plenty of boba. The tofu summer roll was just OK. When we asked questions about the desserts, the friendly owner gave us complimentary a sticky rice/corn confection and another with taro. Interesting but tasty.

My friend brought me to this little restaurant for the first time this weekend. It's in a small plaza with just a couple of other businesses, I've driven past this place many times but I've never noticed it was there. The look of the plaza is a bit run down, but the inside of this restaurant is very cute and aesthetically pleasing. It's very welcoming, as far as the decor is concerned. I ordered the chicken pho - it was delicious. The broth is flavored nicely and it came with a very good serving of chicken and noodles with all of the extras on the side. I also ordered the thai tea with boba - the boba they gave me was not the traditional tapioca, it was like a fruit jelly which wasn't what I asked for, but the thai tea itself tasted good. My friend ordered the crab fried rice - I tried some and it was really tasty. My one complaint with this place is the service. We had to wave our hands to flag down our server - and even that didn't work sometimes. They were not very attentive at all. The only time they came to our table at any point was when we went out of our way to get their attention and call them over. I'll be back for the pho and fried rice - the food really is quite good, but if the service isn't great next time then I'll likely be ordering to-go moving forward.

Top 3 dishes here: Pho Shaking beef fried rice Clam steamed with lemongrass Let's not take my word for the pho, rather if my father says the pho is good, you better order it! He gets the pho here every time and it's consistently steaming hot, aromatic broth, perfectly tender brisket. I love the shaking beef (bo luc lac) at Viet Kitchen. It's a signature Vietnamese dish. The smokiness and black pepper seasoning is delicious. What makes Viet Kitchen different from other Vietnamese restaurants is the seafood! Grilled snails, oysters, clams. My favorite is the succulent clams with lemongrass. If you like steamed mussels, try the clams and taste that herb infused broth. They recently added bun bo hue to the menu too. A spicy beef and pork noodle soup, divine. Pho's sexy cousin as some may call it. There is also a variety of desserts so check those out! And right net door is Lien Hoa market. Two gems in one parking lot.

If it's cold or there is a heavy rain storm outside there is a 85% chance you will see me here for dinner. It just makes sense. I throughly enjoy a lot of things about pho813. From the sauces on the table to the attentive waiters this is the spot. I've done solo dates, group events after sports and birthday celebrations here and everybody enjoyed their meals. Also the bar seating is clutch for solo outings. I don't have to worry about occupying a 4 top and you can chop it up with the staff behind the bar. Heck yeah. Once I was blocked in by the owner/manager in the car lot (I may have parked in the staff parking becuase it was so busy) and when I told the staff a man came out in full 3 piece suit and we laughed our way to the car and he told me he thought I was apart of the kitchen crew so why not park behind me. A great vibe accompanied by great food. I love this place. I can't wait to come back and try more and more dishes and up those 4 stars to 5!

I live in Miami where there isn't much Vietnamese food but my parents moved to Pinellas Park only a few minutes away from this restaurant so I was super excited to visit and go with them! Vietnamese buffets are not a common business model, and from other types of buffets you know that sometimes the quality can suffer, but Quan Ngon strikes a great balance between quality but also diverse options from many subtypes of Vietnamese cuisine. I won't be able to go into everything I tried (that would be a novel) but I will hit some of the highlights: - Grilled pork with broken rice: pork was marinated well, savory and sweet with a nice chargrilled taste, great with the rice + eggs + scallion oil or even by itself - Curry chicken: tastes very similar to how I remember my family does it, light but a bit creamy and with tender chicken and potatoes - Braised clay pot fish (but it's buffet style so served in a warming tray): savory, a bit sweet, tender fish that goes well with rice to soak up all the sauce - Fish sauce wings: not a super traditional dish but it's popping up all over modern Vietnamese restaurants now, slightly crisp outside juicy inside with a delicious savory sweet just salty enough glaze - Dessert (Che) bar: I'm not a huge fan of Vietnamese desserts, but I have to admit their row of Vietnamese desserts are well cooked, and sweet but not too sweet (also approved by my Vietnamese parents so you know it's legit!) For the price, the Quan Ngon Bistro buffet is more than worth it; for not too much above the price of a single entree at most other restaurants, you get to try a generous array of well made dishes. Whether you are native Vietnamese or trying Vietnamese cuisine for the first time, I'd definitely recommend stopping by!

I visited twice, once for lunch and once for dinner, and found that the selection was pretty much exactly the same both times, The pho is only on weekends, dry noodles and meat are pre-portioned into bowls, and the broth wasn't hot enough to properly warm the meat or soften the noodles, leaving them on the dry side instead of tender...I couldn't finish my bowl The bánh xèo was nice and crispy but quite oily and only had 1-2 pieces of shrimp. Some dishes were flavorful and fresh, while others seemed like they had been sitting out for a while and weren't kept hot enough. The standout dishes for me were the rice congee, bánh cuốn, chicken wings, and the caramelized fish. Those were well done and the reason I'd consider coming back. The restaurant was clean, and the staff were attentive. Overall, it's worth trying at least once if you're curious about a Vietnamese buffet, but compared to many of the excellent Vietnamese restaurants in the Tampa Bay area, I still prefer ordering freshly made dishes over the buffet. With a little more variety, hotter food, and a few quality improvements, this place could easily be a worth the price. * Weekdays: $24/adult, kids are half price * Weekends: $29/adult, kids are half price *4 and under free
