Service is simple order wait and eat. They will call out your name when it's ready. This is a Togo only location but plenty of space and seats around for the most part. High traffic area. Sparkman wharf is a super lively area that I love going to on the regular. I've been to this place a couple times and it's not the tastiest, but it fills you up and probably one of the better options there. Honestly, it's pretty reasonably priced for the area. The wings were fried very crispy, but despite there being a lot of seasoning on the wings, they didn't have that much flavor. I was also expecting them to be sweet and savory but they weren't sweet at all, surprisingly. There dumplings were pretty good, fried well. There is some topping they put on them that has a flavor I wasn't a fan of, but overall they were decent. I would absolutely come back. It can be a long wait, because they make things fresh. It took about fifteen minutes for us to get our food, but our friends who came around about five minutes after we got our food got theirs in about five minutes so it is the luck of the draw. I would absolutely get the bulgogi steak bowl again. It was fantastic with very tender beef. I would skip the taro milk tea with oat milk. I ended up finding it a bit too sweet with the brown sugar boba. However, I do love oat milk so if you like sweet things this is for you. It's batched so you can't control the sweetness. Yuck seriously I was at Sparkman's Wharf for a dog festival and wanted a snack. I decided to stop by here to order this Korean Style BBQ Pork Bun which was described as with Pickled cucumbers, lemongrass hoisin. I didn't taste that whatsoever. There is no pickled cucumbers either to give it some flavor. My dog eats 500% better than this. It was also sitting there for a bit, and I didn't want something cold on a cold day. We ordered the Chilled Sesame Noodles, $11 and the Five Spice Pork Belly $8. For the five spice pork belly, I was expecting it to be on a bao bun, but it came out on a hamburger bun. Also for the price, I feel like it could have come with two. The noodles were kinda sad too, I liked the crunchy toppings with the cucumber but the noodles had way too much of an oily taste. I've had chilled noodles before but these seemed to be more fast food style. I did like that it comes with the glass noodle, I've seen others that straight up substitute with pasta lol. We were visiting this area from out of town, and we're looking for unique eats in the Tampa area! I had heard of this Sparkman's Wharf and decided to stop by! This place is really, really fun! Tossed in a sesame sauce and fresh Asian veggies, and the option to add a protein (I went with chicken, boyfriend went with Pork Belly, and both "worked" with the dish!) I also added a bit of chilli oil which added just a slight kick to the dish that paired with the flavor profile. Of the many stalls in the wharf here, this was the one that caught my attention the most and had exactly what I was craving, boba tea! I ordered the mango black tea which had a refreshing fruity taste and delicious well made boba. I got it as I was headed to the sequarium and ended up finishing it pretty fast. The noodles were pretty good and the chili crunch added some nice heat, but I'll probably skip the pork belly if I go again. The boba was pretty disappointing though - the tapioca pearls weren't fresh at all and just formed a giant clump at the bottom of my cup which wasn't appetizing or edible. Thai milk tea was refreshing and tasty with delicious taste. The sake shot was also good and since it was my first time with Japanese beer it was okay for me. Soon we got our food too. For our Chicken Rou Jia Ma we had lemon chicken which was delicious and tasty. I loved the taste of chicken along with the bun. Veggie gyoza was delicious and one of the gyoza we had. The dish itself isn't the prettiest but who cares because it was TASTY AF!!! Worth the wait. Their menu looked interesting and I wish we had more room in our belly to try the other dishes. I usually have very low expectations for restaurants in the shipping containers at Sparkman. This one is relatively new and sounded delicious so I wanted to give it a shot. We thought it was very good! We just wanted a light bite, so we got the fish bites, dumplings and lemongrass bao bun. The fish bites were so good, but I kind of wish there was less juice at the bottom since they got a little soggy. The dumplings were SO GOOD with the crunchy hot chili sauce they out on top. I feel like it was a little sweeter than I would have liked. The steamed pork dumplings were okay, not great. They were drowned in a sauce that was too sweet and also a ton of fried onions. The pork rou jia ma was pretty good and a very large serving. I think the idea of Dang Dude is excellent, but the execution could use some work. Overall, the dish was great and I wish I could rate it 5 stars BUT, I can't because I just can't rationalize $17 for the serving...it was just too small. $12-13 I could feel a little better about, but above $15 didn't seem worth it to me. It was really yummy, the Szechuan chili sauce was really tasty and I loved the fried scallions that added a nice crunch, along with the cucumbers adding crunch and freshness! The pork marinade was tasty, and I'd probably enjoy it as it's own side dish with rice. However, I didn't think there was enough meat to make it feel like an additional $4 was worth it, I got a serving of mostly fat -- and yes, I am aware that pork belly is a fatty slice of meat, but I would say half of the pieces I was given was fat only and no meat.
