Really good ramen. I love ramen and this was my second time here. I've tried a few other places around the Tampa Bay area, and this one is definitely one of the best. I just confirmed for myself that it's a great place. I got the spicy tonkotsu ramen and the spice level was just right. I really liked it. My wife liked her chicken ramen, and my daughter enjoyed it too. She also said the mango sushi was great. The kids ramen was good, but I think they should make the portion a little smaller Definitely come try this place. I don't see how it's anything less than 5 stars. read more

I stopped by Token Ramen Hibachi for the first time since it is conveniently situated right next to the LA Fitness. I brought my girlfriend, her son, and mine along for a casual meal.I ordered the pork ramen, and the broth itself was absolutely delicious--rich, savory, and hit the spot. However, the chashu (pork belly slice) was not quite what I was expecting and fell a bit flat for me compared to other places. I'll pass on the crab wontons next time, but the overall ramen bowl and the quick, easy location make it a decent spot to check out after a workout. read more

This spot offers a mix of noodle dishes and tea with boba. I ordered a tea with boba, and it was really good. The boba was very fresh and chewy. I also liked that they let you adjust the sweetness level to your preference. The interior is a bit small, and most of the seating is communal, so it might be a little challenging for larger groups. The space itself was clean, though I did notice the restroom door wouldn't lock. Hopefully that gets fixed soon. Overall, the drink was excellent and I would definitely come back. read more

Stopped in for ramen. We ordered tonkatsu, mega pork, and a rice bowl with broccoli and pork. Tonkatsu was very flavorful and the chashu in both bowls was tasty. Toppings are plentiful and complemented the broth well. Typical large ramen bowls were generous with noodles. The rice bowl was served in the same sized bowl with plenty of pork and broccoli. Each portion could easily make 2 meals. On the way out, I picked up a brown sugar milk tea with boba. The boba was plentiful and tasted fresh. Wow sweat, would probably ask for half sweet next time. Service was fantastic, and the vibe is casual. Good setup for takeout or eating in. Will return when in the area. read more

Token Ramen was okay, but the pulled pork chashu in my ramen looked and tasted like someone shredded up a Home Depot mulch bag and dropped it in my ramen. The broth and noodles were fine, but nothing that made me want to slurp to the last drop. Average at best. read more

I ordered a strawberry boba milk tea, and it was honestly one of the better bobas I've had in the area. The flavor was very sweet but not overwhelming. I usually get my boba in this little kiosk at the mall and its hit or miss, Kung Fu Tea has quickly become my favorite stop. They have a lot of different options to choose from. The atmosphere is pretty chill too. They have many high top tables to sit at and eat or wait for your order, granted you won't be waiting very long. Even with a long line they get the orders out rather quickly. I highly recommend you stop and check this place out, try their edamame when you go. You won't regret it. read more

Upon entering you're greeted immediately. The environment was clean & the music wasn't too loud. I like how the tea bar is off to the side in case you don't want to dine in. Ordered the chicken Bao buns (4/5) the sauce was tasty, chicken was crispy and had flavor Passion fruit tea and slush (5/5) both really good! Loved the slush. Chicken ramen (4/5) i love how they put a lot of noodles without asking for extra, the chicken was tender and juicy, the broth was also tasty. Not pictured* Chicken habachi (5/5) Definitely my fav. The fried rice was very good too Will return. read more

The ramen broth was too salty. All the food I ordered was too salty. Way way far grom the authentic Ramen

Kung fu tea is my absolute favorite boba spot and my drink of choice is the honey oolong milk cap! The honey oolong is fruity and sweet, the boba pearls are so soft and chewy and the milk cap adds a nice density to it. The line was long but I waited about 5 minutes for my drink. I would have liked to try the ramen but I was already eating dinner later. Would always recommend trying a Kung Fu Tea! read more

The quality at this specific Token Ramen is consistent; I have never had a bad experience. The ambiance is very casual and the prices are not cheap but also not the worst for a restaurant in Tampa. The service can be on the slower side, but the food and drinks come out at the right temperature so everything appears to be fresh. I tend to order and enjoy the oolong milk tea with boba. I saw some other reviews and disagree about the drink having a burnt tea taste or heavy on the milk, but I could understand those errors happening. I really like the chicken ramen for an entree. The chicken is very juicy and the serving is pretty large so I tend to have leftovers. read more

Having been to a few of the Kung Fu Tea locations around the country, this is one of the better ones in terms of food / boba quality. I ordered the fried chicken bowl with noddles. Both the presentation and the flavor are great (for a "fast food place"). It came with a soup selection (miso or egg drop with chicken), and that was yummy as well. While eating, I placed my boba orders to go for the fam via their app. The bobas are cooked just right (fresh with right amount of chewiness) and the tea flavors (I got Thai tea, winter melon tea, Oolong tea and green tea) were spot on. Knocking off one star for missing bobas in one of my orders. It's a simple human error, just double check before you leave! Will return for sure! read more

I've been going to this Kung Fu Tea for a while and never have been disappointed by the boba. If I'm in the mood for boba, I know I can rely on Kung Fu Tea for being consistently good. I usually get the honeydew slush, honey green milk tea or just the original KF milk tea and they always make it delicious. I'm very picky with boba but they know how to cook it well (not too soft, nice and chewy, and usually warm). The service is good, never had an issue. Also the restaurant has pretty good seating and everything looks clean. A great boba chain that I hope never leaves! read more

This was a fun stop before lunch up the street. They have several booths for 3 to 4 people, and that was perfect for the three of us to drink our Boba Tea and chat. We ordered our drinks at the counter. The cashier was sweet and efficient. We had the caramel macchiato slushy, and Melissa had hers on ice. They were so good and filling! The place was clean and the staff was friendly. The drinks were so good that I wish we had one closer to Palm Harbor. Not sure when I'll get here again, but if I'm in the area, I'll stop in for a different Boba tea! read more

We were craving ramen and it was rainy outside, so we were looking forward to warming ourselves up. When you come in, you place your order and then grab a table. They have a decent variety of items to choose from, including an array of teas, slushes, and punches with all the add-ins. The staff is friendly, and the establishment is clean. Unfortunately, we weren't impressed with our order. We both decided on the chicken ramen, but it lacked the rich and flavorful broth that makes ramen so delicious. We both agreed that the broth was somewhat watered down. read more

My wife and I wanted Japanese food and we were in the area doing some Christmas shopping. So, we decided to give it a try. Simply put, the food is ok. The service is ok. And the atmosphere is ok. Nothing stands out. Here's what happened. You order your food with the cashier up front. I ordered the Tonkatsu Ramen. My wife ordered the takoyaki. They do not have sodas so we ordered a mango slushie. We grabbed a table and waited for them to bring out our food. The takoyaki came out first and it was good, having small pieces of squid and being creamy inside. Next came my ramen along with the slushie. The ramen looked different from the picture on the menu. I tried a sip and I started coughing. It was their spicy version. Not happy as I was not in the mood for spicy. I asked the waitress to change it to which she seemed disoriented at first but then made the switch. My observations about the ramen is that it was a bit saltier than expected, the boiled egg was cold, the bamboo shoots were too thick and the pork slices were too thin and fatty. Not the best bowl of ramen. Also the biggest observation was that the broth was warm. Ramen broth needs to be piping hot! We finished our meal and left. The prices were a little higher than expected as well. I don't believe that we will be going back. read more

Went in for lunch. It was kind of difficult to order/ask questions due to some language barriers. Boba - good variety of choices. Disappointed that they didn't have ube flavor even tho it was on the menu. Tapioca pearls were soft and perfect. Overall good authentic boba. Also ordered crab Rangoon (slightly over fried), Takoyaki (yum), Samurai crispy chicken (pretty good, had this distinct Asian flavor lol), and pork steamed bun (too much bun not enough meat...wouldn't recommend). Tonkotsu ramen was flavorful, pretty good!! Also ordered grilled chicken rice bowl which was a healthy option (chicken was kind of salty and had that distinct Asian flavor too) but they gave plenty of rice which was filling! read more

I've been wanting to try this place for a few months, and was finally in the area at lunch time. They are part of a small strip mall, so there was parking right out front. Since it was my first visit, I had the guy behind the counter give me some recommendations. I ended up with the Tonkotsu ramen (pork broth, pork chashu, pulled pork chashu, scallion, nori seaweed, seasoned egg, bamboo, and kikurage), gyoza, and honey milk/milk green tea. I love that all their milk teas are actually dairy-free. I ordered to-go, and I thought they packaged everything very well. There was so much ramen broth it didn't even fit into the plastic bowl provided, but that was useful for the next day's leftovers. I loved the flavor, and was very pleased that the pork was not stringy or fatty. The bubble tea was delicious! This definitely fills the fast food ramen and bubble tea void in the area, and I would love to try more items on their menu. read more

I thought all Kung Fu Tea locations were alike, but I guess I was wrong. I decided to try this location one day while I was shopping in the area. I really wanted to try Brioche Bakery which is in the same plaza but found out it was permanently closed. Anyway, I ordered the matcha sesame milk strike which I've had at the Riverview location and loved it. I usually add herbal jelly with no issue. Something just didn't taste right with this drink. I don't know if it was too much black sesame or something off with another ingredient. All I can say is that it had a very unpleasant smell and taste. This is the first time that I didn't finish my milk tea. I usually like the matcha milk strike. The service was great. I didn't wait too long for it to be made. I haven't tried the food there. The drink just didn't taste right. I think I'll stick with the Riverview location. read more

I'm a huge Kung Fu Tea fan. I definitely give a 5 stars for the bubble tea drinks as Kung Fu is consistent with the tea. I never have to worry that my taro or my matcha won't taste like taro or matcha. The food is good, but nothing that I crave. I actually prefer the Cheers Cut Taiwanese bento lunches over the Token ramen menu items. The ramen is a solid ramen for a fast food establishment. I've actually had horrible ramen at ramen only spots, so great job to Token for serving decent ramen. Again, it's just nothing that I can rave about. So the ramen get's a 3 for being average. I'll definitely be back even if it's just for a bubble tea. Due to the consistent tea being a 5 and the ramen being an average 3, they get 4 stars. read more

Token Ramen was cute!! I feel like it was overpriced but the ramen and boba was good. I've been there a total of 3 times and the boba is spot on every time. I usually get their brown sugar boba but I know its called something else. The ramen had a lot of toppings and the noodles were cooked very well! The miso broth was extremely flavorful as well!! I just think my chicken was over cooked, sadly. On a different occasion, I tried their chicken hibachi and it didn't disappoint. The hibachi was really good and everything was cooked well but I just didn't like their yum yum sauce... it was too watery for me. This place is fairly large and they do enforce being socially distant which is great! Definitely a place that I will continuously go back to. read more

This Kung Fu tea is in the middle of the pack. We got the coffee slush with boba and the winter melon milk tea. I agree with Vivian that they need to improve the mixologist of the tea. Somehow it do not have the taste of harmony. The ingredients is good. The honey boba is still very good. But the the tea bitterness need to tone down. Caffeine is well maintained but the the tea bitterness somehow need to reduce. Milk is a bit heavy compare to many milk tea I have tasted. This restaurant has token ramen section. We did not try their food this time. But will plan next visit to try their hot food. I like the open kitchen with glass wall allow the customers see their food preparation. It has increased the interest of the food. read more

You know I had to drop by Kung Fu tea for my bubble tea fix while in town. Lol This place is super conveniently located closely to where my hotel is at. It appears this location had a Ramen place attached to it where it serves all kinds of food. We definitely don't have this at any of our Kung Fu Tea locations in Atlanta. I didn't have any of the foods unfortunately because I was super full already. I ordered my all time favorite drink of Lychee Punch with Crystal boba. I advised them not to give me any ice as I wasn't drinking it right away. Well, they failed on the directions. lol No biggie. I also ordered the Strawberry lemon tea with Crystal boba. They are still in their soft open phase, so they are a little disorganized. That being said, I love ramen and boba tea, and my husband loves hibachi, so this place covers both our likes and is also very convenient to us. As I mentioned, this location just opened up this week, but I've been to the Fowler and Brandon locations. The menus are very similar. The interior is very bright and clean. Right now, the only options are take out or delivery, although the dining area looks like it'll be great once the coronavirus situation settles down. I had the tonkatsu ramen. It was pretty good, and the serving size was quite generous. My husband had the hibachi beef, and he really enjoyed it. We also shared an order of the ninja chicken, which was tasty and still crispy despite having to travel home with me. We also had an assortment of bubble teas. They were a little sweet to me, but my kids loved them. I can see my family becoming regulars at this place. read more

A bit expensive for the food you get, and some of what I ordered lacked the flavor I expected. Black Garlic RamenNinja Chicken Nuggets We always loved their ninja chicken nuggets. For whatever reasons this time it didn't taste the same. Sauce they usually come with wasn't the same either. This is my go to place for boba whenever I'm in South Tampa. This is more of a "fast food" place for food but since I was hungry, I decided to order food. It's actually pretty good!
