    korean fried chicken and fries

omg. i'm aware that "krunch" is in their name but i was NOT prepared for the crunchy perfect deliciousness of the korean fried chicken. 15/10 the BEST fried chicken that i've had in tampa. i got my fried chicken with the garlic sauce on the side and it was absolutely fantastic. the only critique that i have is that they didn't offer a savory non-spicy sauce for the fried chicken; HOWEVER the garlic sauce was absolutely amazing. i just personally prefer savory sauces. the fries were also exactly perfect; crunchy, fresh, and addicting. the jasmin milk tea was fantastic and paired so well with the white crystal boba too. as for the japchae......... it was exponentially better than i expected; simple, comforting, and addicting. i will definitely be coming back. every part of this meal was amazing. the service was kind and informative. 10/10 to all of the workers who were so welcoming!!! if you're in ybor this is a must try! amazing portions for the price without skimping out on quality or flavor.

Still rocking at a 10! This is definitely my new spot now that there are new owners of Ybor Seoul . The menu is different too! There are a couple of items that I still need to try. This time , I got the Korean fried chicken. You can never go wrong getting the fried rice. Lady that works there is always nice! It's never too busy & prices are decent to me.

Second visit to Sweet Krunch & I truly enjoyed the soy garlic fried chicken. It consisted of 8 pieces and was prob the best Korean fried chicken I've yet to try in the area. It comes with a side of fried rice, white rice or fries. Great service and great ambiance on 7th Ave!

Sweet Krunch was delicious and very clean. The staff was very kind and helpful. We ordered the Teriyaki Chicken, Pork Belly Buns, and Buldak. The food was great, fresh, and flavorful. I would recommend this place to my friends and family, and would come back again!

Perfectly named. The Korean Fried chicken is incredibly crispy, yet tender. I love stopping here and the owners are so nice.

I would not come here for food or a snack again but the Boba is amazing everytime. I got the Ube Creme Brûlée Brown Sugar Milk tea half sweet and this was the best drink I've ever had here. If you're looking for amazing Boba this is definitely the spot. We visited Easter Day and our drinks and food were ready super quick. Lots of open seating and nice open restaurant. Had I not gotten the food I would have rated my experience 5 stars!

I love that it's has a good amount of seating. The décor is modern and clean. The Deerioca plushie cushions along the wall in the seating area are so cute. The drinks are unique. They also offer snacks such as crab rangoons and croffles. The service was pleasant & professional. We were greeted as soon as we entered. Surprisingly, it wasn't that busy on a summer weekday. The Ube Brown Sugar Deerioca Crème Brûlée Milk Tea was delicious! Their signature Deerioca tapioca balls are sweeter (more sugar than honey) than ones I've had at other shops. The crème brûlée is mixed into the drink. Keep that in mind if you have issues with texture. It's more of a clumpy pudding texture than a whipped one. Not a bad thing, but some may not agree. The drink can be customized to your liking. On the other hand, I wasn't too impressed with the Matcha Croffle. The buttery taste that makes these croffles so good was totally nonexistent. I didn't even taste the matcha even though it was sprinkled on top. It's just my opinion, and nothing more. I'd skip the croffle next time, or try another flavor. Otherwise, it was okay for an average waffle. The subtle Harry Potter references are very cool. I've read that the owner is a big Harry Potter fan. Supposedly, the original name of the brand was "Diagon Alley" but was later shortened. If you look real closely at the logo, you'll see the "da" in it. It could stand for anything at this point. I don't know... maybe it's a coincidence that there is a deer in the logo that could be Harry's stag patronus. Either way, there is a definite reference even if it is subtle. It's kind of like finding a hidden Mickey, maybe? Just take a closer look at that boba cup the next time you're there. I'm looking forward to trying more of their unique drinks. It's the perfect stop while shopping at this outdoor mall in the summer heat.

The dessert drink was absolutely delicious. I waited for the shaved ice to melt a little bit so I can drink some of it and all the little fruits in there and the beans were absolutely so fresh and I really love the Ube in there. I'm one of those type of people that like to custom my drinks and food so next time I would probably omit some of the fruits in there and either add extra Ube or extra ice cream or something like that if they allow it. The service was exceptional. The folks behind the counter were absolutely super sweet. I know they're Filipino, but I literally felt like I was in Hawaii. The service was so incredible. I felt like I was in paradise.

Like most other Filipino restaurants/cafe, there is a behind-the-counter, glass protected buffet at the forefront of the restaurant. From here, you can make your selections as you build your combination platter. The Filipiniana also offers a small section of baked goods and desert, while specializing in drinks such as Halo Halo and other Asian-curated beverages. Interesting to note that the Filipiniana offers catering in the kamayan style (simply put, a spread of various dishes over banana leaves to be shared by multiple people amd eaten with hands). However, they don't serve this in house/at the location - you will have to give advance notice (like with other caterers) to have this prepared. The Filipiniana is definitely a good spot to satiate your curiousity, explore, and discover Filipino cuisine!

The BBQ chicken is super flavorful, the katsu is crispy and cooked right, and the poke is fresh and easy to customize. The spam musubi is a must too, simple but really well done. And their boba drinks are always on point with adjustable sugar and ice levels that accommodate to your needs. What I also love coming back for is the service. Everyone there is genuinely kind and welcoming. You can tell they actually care about their customers, and it makes a big difference. Anytime anybody else or I had a request, they would always politely respond. This is one of those spots that's reliable all around and conveniently located next to Macdill AFB. Definitely recommend!

Pro tip: if you want to try a little bit of everything, get the 3 musubi combo. You get katsu, regular, and Hawaiian BBQ chicken which is a perfect variety without committing to full plates. The macaroni salad was good, but I wish it had a bit more texture (maybe some celery for crunch?). It was also a little heavy on the mayo for my taste. Portions are HUGE. One entrée could easily feed two people. Each plate comes with two big scoops of rice, so come hungry or be ready for leftovers. Prices are very reasonable, especially for how much food you get. The staff were super friendly, and the decor is cute. Just a heads up, seating is limited inside (a couple tables for 4 and a couple for 2). There's outdoor seating too, but it's not always shaded depending on the time of day. The chicken katsu was my favorite. It was super juicy with a crispy breading, and the soy flavors really came through. Overall, I'd definitely come back!
