First time at this location. Spacious interior with artwork/ sculptures on the wall for sale by local artists. True to the area, there are rooster figurines as well as cute flamingos and Lucky Cats, adding to the charm. The food was amazing; got our usual order ( from the Bradenton restaurant), but added veggie potstickers (yum yum!!), edamame ( mmm), chicken japchae (delish!!), salt and pepper chicken nuggets with roasted Thai basil garnish ( OMG, we affectionately call it "crack"!!!) with a fabulous jasmine milk tea . But the icing on the cake was the OUTSTANDING customer service, friendliness and hospitality by Amy. This place is situated in the heart of Ybor, parking is very easy to find. It does open at 11:30 in the morning. They offer a lot of Asian fusion items, like Boba, Korean food, and Chinese food. The japchae was a little sweeter than usual and the bibibap gochujang sauce was too watery. The staff was super nice. Some great service, cool vibes, and yummy Korean food right in the Ybor District. It was a little chilly the night we stopped by Sweet Krunch so it seemed like a great moment to get their ttebokki which was filled to the brim with hot, spicy ramen and rice cakes. We also got the takoyaki to share which was good! Like I mentioned before, service was great and we didn't have to wait long at all for our food to come out. omg. i'm aware that "krunch" is in their name but i was NOT prepared for the crunchy perfect deliciousness of the korean fried chicken. 15/10 the BEST fried chicken that i've had in tampa. i got my fried chicken with the garlic sauce on the side and it was absolutely fantastic. the only critique that i have is that they didn't offer a savory non-spicy sauce for the fried chicken; HOWEVER the garlic sauce was absolutely amazing. i just personally prefer savory sauces. the fries were also exactly perfect; crunchy, fresh, and addicting. the jasmin milk tea was fantastic and paired so well with the white crystal boba too. as for the japchae......... it was exponentially better than i expected; simple, comforting, and addicting. i will definitely be coming back. every part of this meal was amazing. the service was kind and informative. 10/10 to all of the workers who were so welcoming!!! if you're in ybor this is a must try! amazing portions for the price without skimping out on quality or flavor. read more

The tteok-bokki was honestly disappointing--soggy, with wayyyy overcooked rice cakes and mushy veggies. The presentation was pretty pathetic, and it was overloaded with cheese, which didn't help. On the plus side, the restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly. And the Thai chili wings were absolute bangers Highly recommend those! read more

Second visit to Sweet Krunch & I truly enjoyed the soy garlic fried chicken. It consisted of 8 pieces and was prob the best Korean fried chicken I've yet to try in the area. It comes with a side of fried rice, white rice or fries. Great service and great ambiance on 7th Ave! read more

This place was decent after the first stop. I had bi bam bop. It was fair. I was a little disappointed by the bau bun appetizers, as I did not anticipate that the chicken was fried, and it was not a great rendition of Karagee chicken usually found at Korean places. Overall, the food was decent but unremarkable. This is basically Korean fast food. It's fine for what it is, but I wish the food was prepared with more attention to detail and a little more love. I hope this place does survive, as I love seeing alternative food in Ybor. I wish them well, but it's not something I will crave to try again. The shop is cute. You order at the counter and then sit down. For this type of establishment, the ambiance is great. read more

We decided to venture out for a good bowl of ramen and something new. After reading the 60+ reviews we decided to give it a try. This definitely has a more Korean flare than a Japanese flare. The ramen was served in plastic take out bowls and the broth in another take out container. The to tonkatsu broth was lacking in flavor,the spicy miso was seasoned with straight siracha not my idea of spice, eggs were on point. Shortage of added veggies. The dumplings came in yet another take out container and the sauce too. They were fried Mandu style tasty and delicious! The ginger was a viable note in them and they were stuffed with meat!
