Quick, good, just what you want. Ok yeah I have a soft spot for pho813. It's close to the house, it's great and I'm never upset. If it's cold or there is a heavy rain storm outside there is a 85% chance you will see me here for dinner. It just makes sense. I throughly enjoy a lot of things about pho813. From the sauces on the table to the attentive waiters this is the spot. I've done solo dates, group events after sports and birthday celebrations here and everybody enjoyed their meals. Also the bar seating is clutch for solo outings. I don't have to worry about occupying a 4 top and you can chop it up with the staff behind the bar. Heck yeah. Once I was blocked in by the owner/manager in the car lot (I may have parked in the staff parking becuase it was so busy) and when I told the staff a man came out in full 3 piece suit and we laughed our way to the car and he told me he thought I was apart of the kitchen crew so why not park behind me. I called ahead for a small lunch time bite and was in the mood for shrimp spring rolls. These rolls definitely had fresh shrimp in the rice paper wrappers but I must say the ingredients were minimal. There was rice vermicelli noodles, fresh herbs like mint and basil but there wasn't the crunchy vegetables like carrots, cucumbers, and lettuce I typically have in a roll. Pho 813 is seriously so underrated. Everything we ordered was SO good, and the portions were huge, so you definitely get your money's worth. I got the salmon, my friend got the Bun Bo Hue , and honestly we were both obsessed. The Thai milk teas were super good too. But the fried ice cream?? Easily the best I've had in YEARS. I would come back just for that.The staff was also incredibly nice, and the whole place has a chill, laid-back vibe that makes it really enjoyable to eat there. First time I've been here. 45 min before closing on a Sunday Labor Day. Wasn't too busy. I got the spring rolls and veggie pho with beef broth. I'm doing this review to save for an update. I will go back. They have great parking. A bar too but didn't seem like much at bar. Reminds me of pho Qyuen. Amazing bar but they aren't doing anything with it. Server was nice. Can't believe I haven't tried Pho 813 until now... I was missing out, big time!! I got the grilled pork rice platter to go. We ordered when we were just down the street and it was ready when we arrived, within like 5-10 minutes! Didn't really get a chance to look around the interior since we were just picking up, but parking was easy and there was plenty of it. When we got home and dug in, I was delighted with my order. The pork was perfect with that grilled flavor you can only get at a place like this, the sauce and little veggie sides were good, and the rice was addicting. It was also a pretty large portion size. I really want to try the pho and banh mi here, but I don't know how I'm going to do that when the rice platters are on the menu here... but I will definitely be back to try them all eventually! read more

I am only giving a low review because of one thing. I go to this restaraunt a few times per month and the food is great. But, there is an issue with the sauces on the table. I have brought it up twice before to the waitstaff before writing this. They refill the Hoison and Sriracha with other containers and the current bottles are expired and worn. I just had dinner there and the Sriracha sauce was 3 years expired. they need to first not refill the same old bottles and must provide fresh sauces. Such great soup! We stopped in here following a long plane ride home and the pho was exactly what we needed to rejuvenate before hitting the road again. The service was quick and friendly. I needed something to hit the spot after working nearby and not feeling like cooking as it was, let alone after driving home through traffic. Pho 813 is a little nondescript restaurant in south Tampa. It's clean and modern, and feels like it belongs in the neighborhood. By comparison, I prefer places with the menus no one wants to pay to update so they come with labels to update prices or sharpie to remove things no longer offered. I figured I would probably have a white-washed dinner here but was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the bun bo hue for a change of pace. The broth was great, tangy and a little spicy. The brisket and pork were both good. I had a mental lapse from my long ass day and forgot the sausage was going to be cha lua (not a favorite lol). They provide the plate of veggies and herbs for the soup but I got the world's driest lime with mine. The service was good for the most part. The restaurant wasn't slammed (it was midweek), but there were a few tables occupied and some pick up or delivery orders here and there. read more

What a great experience! My wife and I had dinner on a Friday night and we are definitely going back. We started off with the grilled pork summer rolls - which are now a must every time we return. For our mains, she had the chicken Pho and I had Bun Bo Hue. Both were so delicious! My wife loved the Thai iced tea and I had a Tiger beer - one of several bottled imports on the menu from Asia. They also have a few local beers in tap and a wine list. The staff was courteous and attentive. When the order was delivered, no eggroll was included. I called the store, and they said that the eggroll was not part of that menu item. 4 stars for a great atmosphere and some yummy food. The space itself is much more modern than other Vietnamese restaurants. We visited on a Saturday afternoon and it was pretty busy. We ordered quickly after sitting. For our food, we ordered the BBQ pork bahi mi $10 and the BBQ pork platter for $15 with fried rice (+$2). I felt the sandwich was rather small for $10, it was good don't get me wrong. The platter was enough to share, it comes with a small salad too. Wanted to try a new place that wasn't in my area so opted for pho 813 via DoorDash. The order was presented nicely and both dishes were very tasty. The only complaint was the entire family agreed the broken rice was just nasty. It was so bland and the small grains of rice so were just not good. (Didn't want to pay $2 upcharge for the fried rice option) the deluxe pho and the beef dish had a generous amount of meat so we were excited about that and it had great flavor. Everyone enjoyed their food and commented on the broths rich flavor. The veggie broth had a rich shiitake mushroom flavor. The peanut sauce for the rolls was great. Found this pho spot after I went to the mall down the road. I was seated by the hostess promptly. The interior is super cute, clean, and they had a great bar selection.
