What an experience Sa RI One is..it was easy to fall in love with place.... WARNING, authentic and delish Korean food found here! I visit twice a week now, my guilty pleasure, I can't get enough of their delicious side dishes and Kim Chi Gai Jae! The service is top notch with ladies coming around constantly to make sure you have everything and also it's very quaint inside and homey feeling. Definitely a staple in Tampa for me now going on 20+ years.

The tofu soup and beef soup were perfect for this cold day so comforting The free side dishes were solid too, and my friend really liked the seafood pancake

As a Korean I love the food. The kimchi pancake was just ok. I prefer mine crispier. The Kalbi was delicious as was the Jap Jae. Hilarious story there was a man that was related to the owner who was drunk was ranting around the restaurant while we were there.

The food was great. The Kelbi was cooked well and it tasted like it was barbecued. I also was impressed by the variety of drinks. The pancake dish was yummi as well.

Very authentic, delicious, and service was fast and friendly! This is a very quaint, little Korean restaurant that felt like I was in Korea. They have waitresses who brought drinks and banchan r as soon as we sat down, took our food order quickly, and food was brought out hot and fast. They continued to fill our water cups and clear away our dishes quickly so we had room to enjoy our food. The restaurant quickly filled up as we were half way through our meal and had a long queue by the time we left. This is a MUST GO to spot in Tampa!!

I'm not from the area but my friend and I saw the good reviews and wanted to try it. Inside is quite narrow and it looks like there isn't much seating at first glance, but there is an additional dining space in the back with much more seating. The food was a bit lacking -- I got a chicken katsu, while my friend got the jajangmyun. While the flavor of the katsu was good, the chicken itself was quite tough. Biting through the meat was a struggle in itself. We also shared the vegetable dumplings, which were delicious; it was had the perfect crispiness to it. While it is labeled as "vegetable," it's more of a glass noodle stuffed dumpling, but it's tasty regardless. I also really enjoyed the banchan. My only caveat besides the toughness of the chicken is that sometimes I would get whiffs of the restroom in the back seating area. It's also not well circulated so the heat made it uncomfortably warm. Otherwise, my experience here was fairly decent, hopefully I'll have the opportunity to go again and try something else!

The small, intimate space with authentic Korean food I've been searching for! I've driven past this place so many times and finally remembered to give it a try this weekend. The service was so friendly and quick. We got a table immediately at 6:30 PM on a Friday, but there was a line for waits forming as we left. The Bul Go Ki Chicken was hot, a little spicy, and full of flavor. Although good with the white rice, the beef fried rice is an entirely new category of its own! We loved this spot and can't wait to go back and try some of the amazing dishes we saw come to the other tables around us.

Still the best Korean food in Tampa. My wife and I both got the Dol Stot Bimibop again and it was amazing. We got to the restaurant about 6pm on a Saturday night and when we left the places was filled and a Lin to get in. Get there early!

Nice little restaurant. Liked the pancake, kimchi and seafood soup. Other dishes were a bit salty

Food was fresh, quick, delicious. Hands down best Korean food I have ever had. Felt like I was eating at a Korean grandma's house. You could taste the love in the food. Also the servers were extremely attentive, water was refilled as soon as you'd finished it. They checked on us and kept telling us to take our time. When it was time to go, the server packed up our food for us and packed the broth and noodles separately so everything wouldn't get soggy, and included extra sauce for our seafood pancake. Very thoughtful. Will be back, soon!

Real old school feel. Nothing fancy or spectacular. The tofu soup was a bit bland and lacking deep flavor. The side dishes were fine. They limit you to only two plates for your refill. Parking lot with multiple spots. Many different sections as you walk throughout the maze

After a relaxing day trip to siesta beach, my exquisite partner and I decided to try Sa Ri One as it was recommended to her. I must admit the location looks sketchy; especially at night. It's off the main road, and is literally next to an overhead pass, while the outside looks like a temporary trailer home. I'm not sure if they wanted to create an at home vibe, but that's exactly how it felt. When we were seated, we felt like we were being guided through someone house to a large back room where there are a number of tables. The staff were super friendly and answered our menu questions without any hassle. We discussed what dishes we wanted, and my beautiful dinner date placed the order: Gal Bi Beef, Tok Bok Gi, and Jaeng Ban Ja Jang. We waited for a few minutes and the Tob Bok Gi was the first to honor table. It was exactly as you expect with a little kick in the sauce. Not sure if I'm a fan of a whole hard boiled egg in there though. The Gal Bi Beef order came out next. Everyone knows this is a staple for KBBQ, and we found them a little sweet, but excellent. Should be warned that we did notice a few pieces that were basically all fat. This dish does have a bowl of white rice included. The last dish to come out was the Jaeng Ban Ja Jang. This dish was near perfect. The black bean sauce was delicious and mixed with the noodles well. There was also a ton of topping; from what appeared to be never ending zucchini pieces with scattered pieces of squid and shrimp in the sauce. Overall, I would recommend anyone in the area looking for some pretty good Korean food, to come by.

10/10!! The food here is AMAZING, and I personally would recommend the seafood pancakes and noodles here. The service here is great, and everyone is really nice and friendly. When we accidentally ordered the wrong thing, they were understandable and offered to make the one we meant to order. The overall look of the place is nice and cozy, and it gives a reallu natural and almost human kind of feel that you don't get much in fancier places. ITS ABSOLUTE CINEMA

Do they serve a dish with spicy or cheesy rice cakes?

Yes! They serve tteokbokki, the spicy version.

Do they serve Kimbap here?? I love it and haven't had any since being back in Tennessee (at Bibimbop in Clarksville, Tn).…

Unfortunately, no kimbap. The local Korean stores make fresh kimbap though you have to catch them at the right time. Out of the restaurants in the area, I think Sa Ri One has one of the better bulgogi recipes. I actually like the Sa Ri One bulgogi… Read more

In a somewhat run down looking strip mall, the small restaurant was simple, but showing K-music videos on a TV. Unfortunately I couldn't see it from my seat, but I'll change that next visit! Our server was polite, helpful, and attentive. We ordered a ridiculous amount of food since we drove 45m to try it, so had a Kimchi Pajeon, Kimbap, Soon Tofu, and Veggie Fried Rice. The pancake was DELICIOUS-super flavorful and chock full of veggies. I did not care for the Kimbap, only because it had less flavor and was a little more dry than the other items, but it tasted very fresh. The Soon Tofu was spicy and full of flavor. It came with a huge heaping of rice in a cute covered dish to keep it hot - I'm ordering these things for home! The veggie fried rice, for which we opted no egg, was also fantastic, but we ended up taking ,ost of it and the pancake home for leftovers. We were also served Ban Chan - side dishes, of small tastes of seasoned veggies such as bean sprouts, eggplant, cucumbers, broccoli, radish, and more. It was all amazing. Sadly, we had no room for anything else, but I will definitely be back as soon as possible. SO worth the drive and expense!

They were also out of the crab egg roll, out of sweet tea, and out of lettuce in which we like to wrap the bulgogi. We ordered mandu, it was good but a little bit doughy because of the wrap they use, not as crispy as we would expect. I ordered the dolsot bibimbop. Mine came out first and was sizzling hot. No complaints, the egg had a runny yolk which means it was not overcooked like many I have had in the past. The bibimbop sauce is delicious with just the right amount of kick. Waitress brought out banchans, there were six different types, pickled eggplant, nori, broccoli, kimchi, bean sprouts, and cucumbers. Son ordered pork bulgogi. The plate was heaping with pork, and the sauce was nice and thick and stuck to the pork. Spouse ordered beef bulgogi and it took about 10 minutes for his to come out after our son and I had our meals. The plate was heaping, but spouse said the beef was a little bland, but some of the bibimbop sauce took care that. Son and spouse took leftovers with them. We were kind of disappointed in the items they did not have, but the lady waiting on us was nice and we realize they are a small business and when things are busy, it is easy to run out. The interior was a little dark, did not go to the restroom so cannot comment on the cleanliness but what we did see looked clean.

I would recommend using filtered water. My Dolsot Bibimbop was good, but for the price I expected a bit more veggies. Spouse got the pork bugogi and it was good. He ordered the lettuce to wrap the pork bulgogi, and the lettuce was cut in half lengthwise, which made it hard to roll a lot of pork in the lettuce. It did come with a lot of bonchas. Jajangmyun is also one of the most popular comfort foods among Koreans, just like its ancestor Zhajangmien, which is a popular comfort food in Beijing, China. Korean Jajangmyun differs from Chinese Zhajangmien as the sauce is thicker, sweeter, and has more vegetable, meat, and seafood toppings.
