This gas station is under NEW MANAGEMENT since June 2021. I had been a customer of the former owner and they were amazing. NOT with the new management team. I went for a state inspection and emissions report and the data was either not transmitted or not received. VA DMV will not allow you to enter the data manually anymore (although that option exists, it will not accept it.). This station not only refused to re-transmit (apparently cannot), they were not willing to reach out to DMV to remedy this situation while telling me that he did not know what I did wrong, but it should have worked. Great mom-and-pop station. I've had good luck bringing my vehicles here for state inspection. Most recently, they were able to plug a huge hole in my tire that another shop said was too big. I think the other place just wanted to sell me new tires. The price was reasonable (keep in mind they are a business). The owner of the shop is great to deal with. He really cares about his business and his customers. The techs/mechanics working there seem to be a good group from my interactions with them. They let me watch the repairs. The place is small, but they are a full service shop which surprised me. For state inspection or small repairs, I can vouch for Vienna Gas & Auto and will probably return. Mom-and-pop places are great. I have no experience with them for larger more complex repairs, so look to other reviews for those. read more

VERY UPSET BY MY LAST VISIT TO THIS SHOP. I brought my SUV into this shop for an HVAC leak that has been written about extensively on the internet. Anyone could google this issue using the make and model of my car, and find out what needed to be done. These guys claimed they did a bunch of work over a five day period to my car, and yet it was still flooding on the driver's side floorboard. Their service desk rep, who explains things the clearest out of anyone, kept telling me about holes that were drilled and seals that were replaced, but with issue still present on a test drive, and the lack of calls, everything seemed fishy to me. I drove out with their mechanic who claimed the issue was fixed, and I pointed out the occurrence of a very loud, watery, swishing sound which he claimed he could not hear. I was even asked if I had wet feet from the rain which would have wet the floorboard. Really? Wet feet from the rain? On top of that, my vehicle was supposed to be ready on a Wed, a Thurs, and then ultimately a Friday, but I never received a call to pick it up. I had to call this shop multiple times to follow up which is never a good sign. Read the other reviews. Callback are a real problem here sometimes. Ultimately, the shop ended up using my own floorboard heat to dry the wetness but claimed the issue was fixed. Despite the fact that my car is flooding again with water backed up from the AC, I will never give this shop my business again. The way I see it, they have my money, but I don't have my fix. I will go elsewhere. Hopefully the owner will make changes that will improve this shop's practices in the future. Brought my 1999 Toyota Camry. The car tech walked us through the various aspects of our issue concerning struts on the car and the logic behind doing other maintenance while the car was on the lift. The overall integrity of the car was fully discussed and we came away with a positive feeling. There were some non-safety issues we decided to waive to reduce the cost. After the repair, Mr. Park was eager to showed us the parts that the mechanics removed and pointed out the bad condition of the original equipment. We'll use them again for sure. read more

We've been taking our cars here for inspections for years and have gradually moved into maintenance. We have found them to be exceptionally honest and detailed in their explanations of what our cars need - and don't need. I recently showed them what a dealer told us we needed in the way of maintenance on our Grand Cherokee. They saw through one "recommendation" right away and said they would check on the second, which turned out to be valid, as I had suspected. I brought my vehicle in for state inspection. The vehicle was inspected and I was told the vehicle had 4 issues in need of repair to pass state inspection, one being the front driver side lower ball joint. I was given a quote for all the repairs individually, one quote being $400 to replace all 4 ball joints, top/bottom/drivers/passengers side. It was the weekend so I took the time and repaired 3 of the 4 issues myself and the next day dropped the car off asking them to repair just the lower ball joint. At that time, I was quoted a price of $200 to replace just one ball joint as the service technician stated I had been given a discount when he quoted $400 to repair all 4 ball joints. I understood and said fine do the repair. Later that day with the car in their shop, the service technician called me and said looking again I will need a top ball joint on the same side also and quoted a price of $400 for the work, the same price he quoted the day before for all 4 ball joints! and this was just work on the driver's side also. So, my complaint is, it's only a feeling, but this service technician was gonna get his $$$ one way or the other. Like, I've already dropped the car off, I'm at work, I've borrowed the wife's car for the day. I could always leave work, pick up my wife, have her take my to the service station and see for myself or take the car and do the work myself. If the upper ball joint truly is bad they did a poor job of a state inspection in the first place!!! And the price went up? I had a bad experience. read more

Horrible service. Guys lied to me repeatedly. Dropped it off Wednesday night with AC trouble. Called about 5 times Thursday to find out what was going on. Said they were looking at it each time, but had no answers for me. Said to call back Friday. Called 3 times Friday morning with no answers. Physically went in and they still didn't have it on the lift. Called me back at 5pm Friday and said it would cost $500 and would be done Saturday morning. Then they call me back and said they couldn't get the part til NEXT THURSDAY or I could pay an addition $100 and they could get it by Tuesday. And this is after they put in some dye to detect a leak that cost me $180. Finally told them to just give me my car back and stop lying to me. Horrible liars, very unprofessional. If you haven't looked at my car, just say so. Don't lie to me REPEATEDLY and say you've been looking at the car for 2 and a half days. I hope someone burns down this place. read more

I have taken my car here for the last two years, but I won't be doing so again. A few weeks ago I brought my car in after limping to the shop because the wheel was making a horrendous grinding sound. It sounded like a bad bearing and/or hub, which I told the technician. Two days later they gave their diagnosis that the car had a bad wheel bearing and hub, which needed replaced (in keeping with my diagnosis). They said the bearing was so badly damaged that the hub was also damaged and the axle may be damaged (but they wouldn't know until they started fixing it). The cost to replace the bearing and hub was going to be $450. If the axle was bad too, the fix would be closer to $1,000. They charged me $60 for the diagnosis and a "temporary fix." After driving the car home (I wanted to check prices), I talked to a friend who works on cars. He and I replaced the bearing ourselves to save the cost of labor and the awful markup on parts that they were going to charge (approximately 5x what I paid for the same parts at Autozone). Long story short, it turned out that neither the bearing nor the hub was bad! After we replaced the bearing, the car was still making the noises. Worse yet, I returned to the shop and asked them to clarify the diagnosis to make sure I didn't misunderstand them. They confirmed that their diagnosis was a bad bearing and hub on the driver's side, but they added that the other bearing and hub was also about to go (which was new since we last spoke). At that point I confronted them and asked for the cost of their diagnosis ($60) refunded as well as the cost that I paid for the parts I had to replace based on their diagnosis (another $60). At a grand total of ($120)I didn't ask for any payment based on all of my wasted labor. Ultimately, the owner only refunded me the money after arguing with me for an hour because he wanted to go home - he told me so - and accusing me of stealing money from him. Bottom line, if I had the car fixed there, I would have wasted $450 for nothing. I could have wasted even more, if they decided to replace the axle or the other side as well. read more

I have a 95 Honda Prelude... it has 240,000 miles on it...It would be in a scrap yard without these guys. Really friendly and professional service. And they guarantee their work. I have been going to them for about 8 years now. We have all had the experience of going to a mechanic and they misdiagnose a probelm and then try -AND CHARGE- again. What impressed me the most is the one time that they actually misdiagnosed an issue in 8 years, they subtracted the cost of their original work. Based on years of experience, we are naturally suspicious of garages and actually used to go all the way out to Stephensville for major car work b/c of all the rip-off places around here. But now we will never ever go to another garage other than Vienna G&A. Where to start...first of all John is amazing. Honest, thorough, and explains everything well. They also really try to work with you on the cost. They have come through for us time and time again on our 3 very old cars, charging us minimal whenever they could. Having gotten a repair done at C&C years back and then some outrageous car repair estimates afterwards, I suspect many of the negative reviews here are done by C&C loyalists. This is the first time I have used this shop, it was recommended by family. No appointment made, dropped the car off on Thursday and was told I needed a new water pump and belt. They told me they would call me.. which they dont. This entire time I have had to call them to get any information about my car. They don't call me. Then they tell me my car will be ready by Monday morning at 10. At 1pm monday I CALLED THEM AGAIN and they tell me my car is STILL not ready. That half their staff called out it sick and they are doing a little work on this car then a little work on this car etc.. WHY? Doesn't that seem counterproductive? Start one job and finish it. Start another and finish it. A little here and a little there only keeps customers cars in the shop longer And is a true inconvenience to them. I'd rather pay more money to know that my car is being taken care of start to finish ish and I'm being called when the business says they will call. I want to know that your doing what I'm paying you to do and I'm not sure I feel that way here. Now I'm sitting in the office to make absolutely sure they are working on MY car and getting it done so I can get to work on time when they said it would be done 4 hours ago. Really not happy. The real kicker... they charge a daily storage fee of $45 after 72 hours. No wonder they work a little bit on your car and then leave it for a day... absolutely no communication whatsoever. I went in for an inspection for the first time as they were close and wanted it done. They first told me I needed my serpentine belt changed because it was loose. But didn't say I would fail, then they told me I failed because of it. Went to C&C Garage I shop I've used before and they told me there was nothing wrong with the belt. I went back to get a new sticker and had to threaten to call the state police, as they told me since it was original belt it needed to be changed even though nothing was wrong with it. read more

Will never return, the reason mechanics struggle to have a good name. Failed my car for inspection, claimed I needed my power steering fuel flushed for $75 because it had evaporated and new LED center brake lights for $25. A really great cost they said. After I mentioned my dad owned a shop and I would get the repairs done there this was just more convenient, the guy started feeding me nonsense about mechanics not wanting to work on their own cars. Well I passed inspection the second time around the fuel just needed to be topped off not a big deal at all and the lights worked perfectly! What a rip off, will try to take you for every dollar you have if you do not have knowledge of cars. Beware, there are a lot of better places in the area. read more

Avoid this place at all cost! I took my vehicles here consistently until I caught them ripping me off. The first lie was that I had a bulb out at inspection. I checked all my lights and signals as I always do and they replaced the bulb and charged me at checkout ($7 so be it). I had a single freeze plug go out and saw one water spot on the ground and they charged me for 3 ($600 later). My Honda started overheating and I took it to them again which was a mistake. I asked them to check and see if gases were leaking into my coolant which is a fairly easy test. I come back and they tell me I have a blown head gasket. What?! How much? $2400+ and it could be worse. I asked how they diagnosed it and they said the mechanic knows. How does he know? Did he run any test? There is no test. Really? I left after a 30 minute conversation and by the way they charged me $40 for their "test". I went down the street to C&C garage and they laughed when they saw their diagnosis. The fan switch quit working and needed replacement..that's all! Thanks C&C. Make the drive down the street and enjoy the wait. You're car will appreciate the hospitality. read more
