I brought in a Jaguar with an electrical problem. I understand this is a difficult problem to tackle, but these people had no idea what they were doing. They recommended a new battery - I had just changed the battery, but said OK. That didn't fix the problem, but they still charged me for a new battery. Then they recommended several other things (none of which solved the problem, but for which they still charged me). Finally they recommended replacing a main part of the computer. That meant they had to take it to the Jaguar dealership because they didn't realize replacing that part caused a security issue with the computer which had to be resolved at the factory level. This didn't fix the problem, but rather made it worse. My car used to run with minor electrical annoyances. Now it suddenly stops running in the middle of the road and the electrical annoyances have increased. They said, "look we can't fix it" and gave it back. When I got the car home, I realized they never even put the trunk back together. All the carpet was still pulled up, the liner was taken off, many small items from an organizer I had in the trunk were under the liner between the spare tire and the battery and generally scattered all over. I took the car to the Jaguar dealership to ask them about the work they did and they said they had no record of that. I would never entrust a vehicle with Eurasian Service again. At every turn they guessed (they obviously didn't KNOW) what they might be able to do, they charged me for it, and then when it didn't work they just guessed at something else. All told, they charged me thousands of dollars and returned my car in worse shape than it had been in when I first came to them. read more

Eurasian Service Center is the best. No shuck and jive, no pushing the sale of 'assemblies' when specific parts are sufficient to complete a repair. They are thorough, fair, willing to talk through a diagnosis and options, and they stand behind their work and honor warranties. I recently experienced this when I had random but persistent issues with my cherished 1998 Toyota 4Runner. While repairs were being made, they pulled prior service records to confirm a contributing factor was the failure of a part replaced 363 days before. That was not on my radar. Eurasian Service Center replaced wrong oxygen sensor on my Jeep, charged me total of $438 and when Engine Light came back on, they wanted to replace Power Train Control and were asking for another $1000 to finish the job. I would've given Zero Star to this business, if I could. I've been a customer at Eurasian Service Center for 5 or 6 years and Eddie Pierce, the former Service Manager always helped me. Eddie is not working at this business anymore and a gentleman by the name Mike Wakelee is running the show. Mike doesn't know much about cars and didn't show any concerns regarding the lousy job his mechanic did on my Jeep. I decided to go to a different mechanic to get a second opinion before I spend additional $1000 at Eurasian. At the new Auto Shop, they found out wrong Oxygen Sensor was replaced by Eurasian and even indicated that mistake on the invoice. I've posted pics of both invoices from Eurasian and also the Auto Shop which fixed my vehicle properly and charged me less for the same work. I'm not going back to Eurasian Center and do not recommend this business to anyone. read more

I have a rare Mercedes Benz that is 50 years old. I have worked with the owner -- Mark Neely -- for over ten years in the care and treatment of this car. Mark has gone the extra mile at every turn to ensure the car was properly serviced and we have faced serious challenges finding parts. I cannot say enough good things about Eurasian. They simply have been fantastic and truly care about the vehicle. Mark has unique knowledge as well about this car -- a Mercedes 1973 450 SL convertible-- and that knowledge has allowed us to make many repairs that a dealership or other shop could not do. Original parts have been used when available to preserve the vintage value. The car has had extensive rebuilds including a rebuilt transmission, fuel pump, radiator, electronic ignition system. electrical control box, fuel injectors, power steering box, internal motors and controls; I could go on an on. Came here due to all the 5 star reviews. Then got quoted for works that were not immediately needed, and was not informed of items needed to pass their inspection. The car ended up passing the inspection elsewhere, meaning it's at least passable. Big inconvenience and made me question if anything done was really needed. Came here for the first time for my state inspection. The place was very clean and the staff was very friendly and accommodating even though I was an hour late (495 South traffic!). The waiting area was nice and the couches were extremely comfortable after sitting an hour and a half in traffic. They finished my inspection in about 30 minutes and an employee handed me my keys and said I was all set and to have a great day. I told him I hadn't paid yet and he said it's on the house! I asked why and he said they had a free coupon that wasn't redeemed and said happy holidays! It was a pleasant surprise and much appreciated! read more

Unfortunately my car was brought here (not by choice) and in the midst of things I was told that the rear brakes on my car needed to be replaced as soon as possible. The guy even said he was shocked I hadn't seen sparks fly yet. I was quoted $440 on rear brakes for a Toyota Yaris. I said I will pass. I went to my usual mechanic (Automotive Express in Arlington) and my rear brakes didn't even need replacing, just cleaning. If anything it was my FRONT that needed replacing because my car is front wheel drive so that actually made sense. I got my front replaced (pads/rotors) plus my rear brakes cleaned, an inspection and oil change, all for way less than a $440 quote that Euroasian gave me for one repair. I understand you're in Tyson's and may charge prices based on the type of people who reside there and competitors but quoting for unneeded services is really not ethical in my book. At least if I needed it then I could say they are just pricey for the area, but this was something I didn't even need. I could never trust a mechanic who doesn't know what my car needs and charges a fortune. Which by the way -- even the Fairfax Toyota dealership was charging less for rear brake replacements (including labor). read more

I'm really pleased with the service I received from Eurasian Service Center! I requested an online quote through Yelp for a 30k mile service and they responded within minutes...minutes! Some of the service centers who utilize the online quote feature just tell you to call after you request a quote, but not Eurasian. Eurasian quoted me a rate and told me about a coupon I could use for the service! The quote I received from the dealership was a little more expensive and the dealership location is not as convenient to work, so I called to schedule an appointment here. After I dropped my car off, I got an immediate ride to work in the Mercedes sedan they use as a shuttle. I didn't have to wait for more people to arrive or for someone to become available. Apparently a lot of people from my work take their car here and they were very familiar with all our office buildings. A couple hours later they called to tell me my car looks good and ask what kind of oil I wanted. They called me again when the car was ready for pick-up and I was able to get picked up immediately after we talked. Check-out was smooth. I was pleasantly surprised to see my total charge was less than the original quote. They returned my car to me with a fresh interior vacuum. Looked great! Fast forward a few days later and I got a coupon in the mail for my next service. I'll definitely return for my future oil changes and other service needs, not just because it's super convenient to work, but also because they offer great customer service and pricing and the team is very nice. read more

This place will rip you off like most of the car repair shops in Northern VA. I took my car in for an oil change and they made a few inspections. They told me that the front brake pads needed to be replaced (were down to 10%) and the serpentine belt. They stated it would cost over $500 to replace the brake pads and rotors and about $300 for the serpentine belt. I called a reputable mechanic shop (not in Nova) and took my car to them. They told me that my brake pads had around 50% left and would cost approximately $250 to replace both them and the rotors but that I could make it a while and that the serpentine belt would cost around $50. Checking the car manufacturer website those prices checked out. I would avoid this place! read more

I've been bringing my BMW here to get my oil changed for the past year and have been pleased with the service and the price quote they give for synthetic oil, as I have shopped around for prices quotes with other auto service centers. Friendly service through and through. About 6 months ago, they hosted an event where they ran a complimentary full service check on your vehicle to see if your car needed any immediate services or just to see if there were engine issues. They listed that my tires and brake pads would need to be replaced very soon. My guard is usually up when it comes to repair shops in general since there are some shady mechanics trying to up charge you for things you may not need, so I took what they said into consideration but didn't do anything immediate. A couple months later I was do for my annual safety emission test and the inspector told me that the treading on my tires were very worn and needed to be replaced asap, which I did (not here though). A couple months after that, the service alert light in my car popped up that my brake pads needed to be replaced. All things that Eurasian service center had predicted would happen and were correct. I replaced my brake pads here and since it would take a couple of hours of work, they offered their free service shuttle (sedan) to drop my off at my place (I live 2 miles away). Take a look at their website for any coupons they may offer for a service you might need or ask them if are running a promotion. Fortunately I found one for $50 off my brake pad services! The friendly, knowledgeable and professional service is what keeps me bringing my car and I back to this place. Highly recommend. read more
