Have brought two vehicles here in last several months and first positive impression reinforced and validated with the second. The process is straightforward, no effort to "upsell" quality tires to choose from and quick work. Great, kind, quick service with a dangerous and crucial mistake…read more I'll break this review into two parts. The first part will be about my experience getting serviced by Clarendon Tire, and the second part will be about what resulted. Service experience itself was great. I had noticed a slow leak in my top left tire this past week. At first, I thought it could wait for my regular mechanic to see, but I decided to get it checked ASAP at Clarendon Tire. If it was a nail, maybe it could be patched. I called ahead of time in the morning, and the woman on the phone let me know to bring it by that day before 4, or else maybe it would be too busy. Sure enough, I show up at 3:45, it's getting busy, but they make an effort to take my car in immediately. The mechanic gets to work checking the tire, and the woman behind the desk lets me know a patch fix takes about 40 min and $60, reasonable to me. I go to the bathroom, and by the time I'm out, they flag me down and show me my wheel--no nail, but in fact a small crack near the edge on the inside of the wheel. I really appreciate that they worked so quickly and saved me from preemptively buying a new tire for a non-tire problem. They gave me good suggestions for nearby places that could fix the wheel if I didn't want to replace, and they didn't charge me for their service. I gave the mechanic a $40 tip for his quick and helpful work, and he offered to fill my tire air up before getting going. Overall, very positive experience, and I would have happily returned any time I had tire trouble. 5 star visit, so why the 2 stars overall? Didn't drive for a couple days after, but before I left for work, I went to check my tire pressure to see how much I should fill up to for the day. My tire pressure was more than 60psi. The tire mechanic filled my front left tire up to more than 60psi. Most consumer vehicle tires are rated for around 30psi. My tire pressure meter only goes up to 60, but it stayed at 60 for a while when I was letting air out of the tire. This is insanely high, and dangerous to drive on--my friends exclaimed they're surprised my tire didn't pop on my way home. I would hope that tire mechanics would know the right psi range to fill up a front tire. Instead, I think he filled it up as high as possible or kind of without looking, and it could have caused a really dangerous accident, and cost me a lot of money. The psi is clearly marked in the driver-side door, and I'll need for this place to read that number before filling up tires. Until then, I will not be taking my car here again out of precaution.

At first I…read morewas able to put air in the tire and it would last for around 3-4 days but now it was only good for hours before my tire would go flat. To make matters worse all four of these tires are basically new and less than 30 days old! Anyway, this whole thing was driving me nuts, so I started shopping around for a place. I remembered this local place that allowed you to drive up for on-the-spot repair and they work on your tire(s) while you wait in your car, so I decided to give them a try and I'm really glad I did. When I arrived there were a couple of cars ahead of me, which wasn't a big deal since this place is similar to a drive-thru you allowing you to conveniently wait your turn in your car. They work pretty quickly here and before I knew it I'm pulling forward to get my tire looked at. The mechanic was friendly, respectful, and took the time to listen to what was going on with my tire. He quickly got the tire off, diagnosed the problem, and explained what needed to be done in plain language. The problem was with the valve stem, which had a leak. The mechanic got right to work making the repair and explaining to me what he was doing. The work was done efficiently and correctly, and he made sure everything was explained to my satisfaction. There was no pressure, no upselling, and no runaround; just honest work and solid service. Oh, and the cost of this repair was less than 25 bucks! I couldn't believe I received this much service and such great work at this price point. What makes this place stand out to me is the customer service from all of the staff, but in particular the mechanics themselves that are actually working on your car. Usually, the people working on your car are hidden in a garage somewhere while you wait in a waiting room, so you never actually meet the mechanic working on your car. At Mac's you are up close and personal to the mechanic. That's a huge plus in my book. You can tell this is a local business that actually cares about its reputation and all of the customers coming there. It's the kind of shop where they remember you, talk to you with respect, and make sure you leave satisfied. If you're tired of chain shops and want to support a local business that does quality work and treats customers right, this is the place to go. They earned my trust, and I'll definitely be back for future tire and service needs. Highly recommended!

I looked online to research what issues it could be. Starter? Fuse? Easy to repair? Take to shop? I was stressing. Battery "shouldn't" be an issue cause I got a new one a year ago from the dealer. So what was it? So this morning (Saturday) I took the car at 8am to see if Matt Curry's Craftsman Auto Care could fit me in. Initially, the service said I would have to leave it and they would shuttle me home. I understood and didn't expect preferential treatment cause I have been a loyal and repeat customer. What I didn't expect was that Ray told me he would have a tech look at the battery quickly and if it wasn't then I would have to leave it. It took 2 mins and they told me it was a loose terminal connection with the battery & they tightened it and sent me on my way. No charge. Again, I totally expected to pay for a diagnostic charge and was okay with it. But Ray chuckled and said all they did was tighten the loose connection. That is customer service. Other places would have have charged me and I would have been fine with it. But this act demonstated that they want me as a customer for life. And they got me for life. I am including a brief description of the condition of the vehicle when I arrived at Radial Tire Monday (2/16/26) at 2:00pm. The receiving manager and I discussed the tire issues and history. I told him I had a service light in the dash that was saying a tire was low on air and they were new tires (vs the previous service light for sensors not functioning). He measured the tire pressure of all the tires and they were all at different psi (33, 34, 42 and 18). My vehicle was placed in a service line and I waited in a lobby for approximately an hour. Radial tires took the low tire off the vehicle and tested it for leaks and determined the problem was that a valve stem hadn't been correctly sealed, the tires were all fine. Before leaving the work bay, I noticed the sensor light was still on, so a retest determined the driver's front sensor was going bad and it was replaced. The service manager told me Toyota and Lexus have challenging tire sensors, that they can often get one sensor working and the computer will then say another good sensor stopped working. I left Radial Tire around 4:30, problems solved and paid for one new sensor and install. I've had several people tell me Radial Tire is the BEST in this area and they will have all of my business in the future and that of anyone I know.
