I can't recommend The Car Doctor enough!…read more My transfer case catastrophically failed, and I was incredibly lucky that my car broke down just two minutes away from their shop. It was around 10:00 PM, so I searched Google for the nearest repair shop and found The Car Doctor. Even though they were closing, one of the employees took the time to help me drop off my car. That alone showed me they genuinely care about their customers. The next morning, my car was fully diagnosed, and they clearly explained the issue and gave me multiple repair options without any pressure. Since replacing the transfer case is a major job, I was told it would likely take a few days. To my surprise, I received a text message the very next day around 5:00 PM saying my car was ready for pickup! I honestly couldn't believe how quickly they completed such a big repair. The price was very fair, but what really stood out was the outstanding customer service, professionalism, honesty, communication, and efficiency. Everyone at the shop treated me with respect and made a stressful situation so much easier. Thank you to the entire team at The Car Doctor for taking such great care of me and getting me back on the road so quickly. You've earned a customer for life. Highly recommended!

I got there Sunday morning so went to the Mexican restaurant around the corner (it wasn't bad!) and then had a couple beers at the brewery around that corner. About 2.5 hrs later, I decided to come back and just in time, my car was ready! They told me it was on them! I didn't have to pay for the safety inspection! I was floored! That was pretty cool.

Advice: have a dealership telling you that you need thousands in car fixes? Come here before you…read moresign off. Due to a Honda recall, I dropped my car off across the street at the Honda dealership. I received a call saying my timing belt was rotted, I had multiple oils leaks, water pump problems, and more! All totaling about $2,900. I promptly called Schmitz's on the recommendation of a coworker and explained the situation. Al assured me that I could bring it by when Honda was done and he would review the quote and give me an honest answer on what my car actually needed. Later that afternoon, I dropped my car off and went over the list with Al. He went out with me to take a look under the hood, kindly showing me that my car doesn't even have a timing belt! The serpentine belt and timing chain were clearly fine. I went back to work and got a call about an hour later with a recommendation on two things to fix now and a couple to keep an eye out on over the next two years. It was fixed by the end of the day. He could have taken Honda's quote and said yep that is all true and charged me just a little less. But instead Al took the time to show and explain, thoroughly "diagnose" my car, and handle it all in a couple of hours. By the way, it cost me less than $500. I will 100% be back when my car needs it.

I would not recommend anyone take their motor vehicle to this place. I was given a diagnostic that…read morebasically said my car was unfixable and that I should buy a new one. Took it elsewhere and it was easily fixed. Seemed they either wanted a quick buck from a diagnostic or were too incompetent to fix the vehicle themselves. Or just didn't want to help which is a shame because I could have used an honest straight forward auto shop in the area to help me out given the situation. Overall, I found Schmitz's auto to be a peculiar mix of dishonest, incompetent and lacking descent integrity.

This place is amazing. Their attention to detail is exceptional, they're incredibly thorough, and…read moremost importantly, they're honest. We've brought all of our cars here for years, and everyone we've referred has also been impressed. I even bring my brand-new car here for maintenance because I trust them that much. On my last visit, Autobahn identified two issues that two dealerships had missed during "comprehensive multipoint inspections": a small transmission leak and a steering wheel that had been reinstalled crooked after the dealer replaced the steering column motor. Based on my experience, I don't think the dealer would have caught or documented the transmission leak if Autobahn hadn't found it first. Oleg thoroughly documented the leak, which helped me get the dealer to address it under warranty. The dealer ultimately found a defective torque-converter seal and, after removing the transmission, discovered that the rear main seal was also leaking. Both were repaired under warranty. This isn't the first time Oleg has caught something others couldn't. Years ago, I had a BMW with a wiper parking problem that two BMW dealers couldn't fix after five visits and considerable shop time. Oleg recognized the issue almost immediately and fixed it in a fraction of the time. That's why I trust Autobahn Motors. They don't just check boxes--they actually inspect and diagnose your car. They're knowledgeable, meticulous, honest, and never make me feel like they're trying to sell unnecessary work. If you want a shop that pays attention to the details and can diagnose problems others miss, I highly recommend Autobahn Motors. Five stars without hesitation.

I've gone to a number of places for price quotes and have found A&S auto to be the most reasonable. Instead of doing a bunch of work I don't need, I'm always told what is absolutely imperative and what can wait. The 2 main people working here (one Pakistani man and one Persian man) are always friendly and kind. All their work is guaranteed and you can come back within 90 days if you still experience any issues without being charged again. Their auto service is located inside the Gulf gas station right next to the Sunoco gas station.

You should check your cars first. They have synthetic oil too. But it's really pricy like $100. The customer service is bad and good. The one at the reception desk is not friendly at all. We booked for 2 cars but he thought 1. And he did not want to admit it. The mechanic man is really kind. He explained about synthetic oil and tire rotation well. He is respectful. He told me that he would quit explaining, if I'm not interested in those great tips. He knows car maintenances well and is proud of it. That's why he'd like to share the information with the people who care about their cars a lot but don't know how to take care about them. I really appreciated. The location is great. Close to The center of Tyson's corner. I killed time with shopping. The office is small next to or in the gas station.
