I walked in there were 3 guys in the front no one spoke. So I walked closer and then got a hello. Said I needed a safety inspection and an emissions test. I was referred here by my coworkers because they have a shuttle service and are close to my job. The guy who drives the shuttle is out sick so they cannot drive me back to work which sucks because I came here for that reason. They said I'm the first in line so they can do my complete both inspections before 8am. They did and I was pleasantly surprised and very happy! Will come back but will call first if I need shuttle service. read more

Was told there would be no charge unless they did a leak test and that they would call me prior to doing the leak test to get approval. They didn't call me, they didn't do the leak test, but still charged me $80. They didn't even remove the passenger wheel or remove underpanel to look at steering pump hose connections. Update 3/17/26: after reviewing the business owners response I would only add that it's pretty easy to make things up and try to do social media damage control after you've received completely honest and deserved negative review. I have five Volvos which I have owned since new and maintain them very well. This shop is a few miles from my house so for the past few years I've taken my cars there for inspections. Every time I take my cars there they find something wrong with the brakes, usually some vague comment about uneven wear. Since that is not a failure criteria unless it is established it relates to a mechanical failure that adversely affects braking, minor wear variations are not failures. This last time I took the car and had documented that the rotors were in spec and the calipers were functioning 100% normally and that the pads were wearing evenly, they still refused to pass the car on re-inspection because I did not put on new brake pads and rotors. This is also not in the rules. This place --- at least the one on Sterling -- is as corrupt as they come. read more

The car had to go in for some work. With the price of gas going up and up, and I was working from home I decided to drop it off Monday 3-22-21 morning. Process was simple, a few questions about the work to be done. I am providing parts which changes the shop rate; I have no problem with this. I'm gone and in the handy shuttle. I get a message to call about an estimate and a few other parts I didn't think of. These guys don't miss much when it comes to car repairs. I said ok with the work. Midafternoon I get another message the car is done, and I request the shuttle. Aaron is the driver and he was here quick. He's easy to talk to, a good guy. I get the bill, pay it and I'm out the door. Very reasonable price for the amount of work being performed. Fast too, less than a day and I have my car back. The work that was done was tip top. Car runs better than ever. I am a very satisfied customer and will be back. When I say they are HONEST they are HONEST! I'm a female and we all know some mechanics take advantage of us because we are females. The entire staff and Zack were amazing. I took my car in for 1 issue and they immediately called me letting me know I had a much more serious issue. They did not want to take my money to fix the initial issue until I resolved the bigger issue (rusted metal under car). They kept my car for 2 weeks while I tried to resolve that issue with the dealership who sold me a inoperable car. They did not charge me for keeping the car. They knew I had a much bigger issue and really spared me from spending over 1k. I will always recommend them going forward. I cannot thank Zack and his staff anymore then I have. Shocked when I took my car in and was told it would be $2400 to replace the front and rear brakes as well as the calipers. After mentioning that the brakes caused the inspection to fail they continued to rattle off multiple items saying that it was needed for the 120k service, but they asked me if it had been done rather than telling me it needed to be done. Discussed all the issues with a mechanic at Shell and they offered to do all the brake work for $1300 which includes both front and rear brakes (pads, calipers, rotors, labor). I was told I was being ripped off. Oh and a diagnostic is $140, not the $90 offered by Sunoco and Shell. Not happy and they lost my business. read more

If my husband was with me I would have been treated differently. I just got back from a year deployed, and I want to get my car legal to drive. This places close to where I live and I knew I could get it taken care of right away. This is just recently after I got my car fully inspected from head to toe and got an all-clear. After I turn in my car guy comes in and grabs me and tells me that my car failed inspection. I'm confused because I literally just got everything checked and updated through my regular service provider and the guy acted as though I was lying. As though I didn't even actually know what I was talking about that there is no way that I possibly just had my car fully inspected. He goes on to ask when is the last time I had my brakes inspected. In my mind knowing that it was just the week before and I'm trying to figure out which day he quickly and assuming says you've never had it checked? at that point I realized if I was a man he would not be talking to me this way. This company portrays standard sexism when a woman is there by herself but I guarantee you that if I had my husband doing the talking the attitude that I was given and the judgement I was given would not have been dealt out to him. Thankfully I went to some actual professionals who treated me with respect verified that my car was good to go, Road ready, and immediately got my car re-inspected and it passed. Of note, This company also tried to Swindle me into a service that I did not need it for $110 when my car was state approved for its emission test. read more

These guy's are more professional than any I've ever seen in this buisness. Each guy was as friendly as can be. They also take AAA. My family are professional race car driver's in Indiana. They own their own shop's there. I grew up racing. I know what I'm talking about. I took my antique sports car here. I normally am nervous to let anyone near it. I never let anyone drive it. Not only did they set my nerves at ease, they took extra great care of me and my car. This shop is massive! It can handle the major stuff, most shop's can't. They have 14 lift's! Absolutely do not go here. Super dishonest. Took my VW in for an oil change and tire rotation and an associate (Buddy) told me that one of my rear brake calipers was leaking fluid and required replacing. "It's serious enough that you might lose your brakes on the way home." He went on to say that due to the age of both rear calipers, it would be prudent to replace the other caliper as well. The whole process would have cost just over $1000. Took the car to another mechanic for a second opinion. Turns out that the undamaged caliper was visibly new and the "damaged" caliper was not leaking at all, but sprayed with brake fluid. Brakes are still working fine over 2000 miles later.
