My daughter's car was almost overdue for inspection, we knew it needed new tires, timing belt and water pump. Friends recommended C&C. I just stopped by. I shared that I had my daughter's car because she was going to be out of town for several days and asked if there was anything they could do. We also wanted a lookover just to see if the old car was worth putting the money into. C&C was great. They said they could do a courtesy inspection if I could leave the car. I did and in less than a week they were able to do all the work necessary by just squeezing me in. The entire staff was great. I think I will begin using them as well. There prices were better than where I had previously taken my cars. Again, they were great and I felt they really bailed out my daughter. read more

Fast service quick turn around time. It took less then three days to get the car repaired.

Very accommodating for tire repair. Saw a screw on my tire while putting air. Called a couple of places but they were the ones to be able to get me in for service before I had flat. Really appreciated this. read more

I was referred to C&C Auto Repair by a friend, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. I came in for my yearly safety inspection--a simple task, but one that often turns into a headache at the big-box shops like Virginia Tire & Auto, where I've been given long lists of unnecessary "to-dos." I wanted to find a place in the area that was honest, did quality work, and made me feel confident about returning. Thankfully, C&C Auto delivered all of that. During my wait, I noticed how many customers were greeted by name (you could tell they've trusted this shop for years). Even though the team was busy, everyone was friendly and welcoming. Meredith at the front desk was fantastic, both on the phone the day before and in person when I arrived. This is exactly the kind of local, trustworthy shop I was hoping to find. I'll definitely be back for all future auto work! read more

Brakes half the price of the dealership. Very nice people and job was well done. They are busy, so schedule ahead.

Always such a pleasure bringing my car in for inspections. I am in and out and Chuck is so friendly!

Recently needed A/C repair and wanted to avoid running the gauntlet of "recommended service" at VA Tire. VA Tire is fine if you need to get an oil change at a reasonable price within the day, but be prepared for the additional 5 pages of recommendations and other paperwork that come with it. Talked with Kenny at C&C and he walked me through the possibilities and remedies and likely prices. Service was finished when promised, reasonable price, very friendly staff, and everything working like new now. And they made a follow up call to me to ask how everything was working, when does that ever happen these days? read more

I have had the best experience with C & C. My uncle recommended them and I've not been disappointed. Responsive and kind. They educate me on what the issues are with my car and older Toyota RAV4. I won't go anywhere else. read more

I was referred to C & C Auto about 20 years ago and have been taking my car(s) there ever since. The service has been excellent every time. They take the time to explain what the problem is and have always been very honest. The price for repairs is not only fair, but unbeatable. These days, especially, having a place that is trustworthy and reliable means so much. Thank you to your team of amazing workers. -Katie R. read more

We have been taking our cars to Kenny's shop for over 20 years. I have referred numerous friends to them as well. Each of them thanked me afterwards because the service is always unbeatable. They go out of their way to provide the best service at the best price you can hope for. If you are going anywhere else for service, you are making a big mistake. read more

I was referred to C&C a few years ago and have been rescued by them more than once for vehicular dysfunction besides regular maintenance. I find them knowledgeable, honest and economically reasonable. A family business that treats the customer like family. read more

Kenny is the most honest man you will find in the car repair business. I have faith that he will find the problem and give me an honest explanation and a fair quote. Meredith will greet you warmly when you arrive. She's part of the amazing team. You will have no regrets taking your car to C&C. read more

I've always had a great experience and feel that they do not overcharge just to make an extra buck. They are trustworthy and reliable.

Best auto repair shop I've ever used. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable. Diagnostics and repairs are always explained and if services are not necessary for safety or performance they will tell you. I trust this business fully and recommend it to anyone looking for honest reliable service. read more

I took my 2012 Lexus to C & C Auto Repair to get the car inspected, tires aligned and balanced , and a review of the general state of my car and I was handled with great courtesy and respect. I will definitely return for all of my car maintenance needs. It's refreshing to know you have experience professional mechanics working on your car who are straightforward and honest. They too made me feel like they value my business not for today but for the long haul. read more

C & C Auto was recommended by some friends and boy am I glad they did. I'm a single woman and whenever I need to take my car in for repairs somewhere I feel like I'm about to be ripped off. When I went to C & C I went for a second opinion on a previous quote from the gas station in Northpoint in Reston. C & C's estimate was over $200 less for the same repairs. I've since continued to take my car there for any vehicle needs I have. They are always very friendly and courteous and I feel 100% confident they are giving me a good price. It's invaluable (especially for a woman) to trust you are only getting the repairs you need done and for a fair price. C&C is the place to go. You'll never take your car anywhere else again. read more

C and C Auto is first rate. Kenny and Chuck will take care of any problem with your car and will be honest and fair in their assessments and pricing. They are experts in car repair. My entire family goes to C and C Auto and you should too. it is so refreshing to work with such nice and professional people. I highly recommend C and C Auto. thanks read more

Broke down on 65 and he had me back up and running in about 90 minutes. I actually paid him a few bucks more than he charged me because he did a great job. Didn't take advantage of having me over a barrel. Charles is great. Wish he was closer to my house. read more

I was looking for a new honest local auto repair shop close to my home and came across C & C. I needed a few simple things done.. oil change, change my serpentine belt and change my spark plugs. Came in on a thurs and set up an appoinment for the following Monday. Was told that they had an empty schedule and it would be done that morning. Come Monday, I drop off my car at 7:30am. I gave them a call at 11:30 to check the progress of my car and they tell me it wasn't pulled in yet. I call again at 2:30, 7 hours after drop off and got the same answer with no excuse on why. I ended up going to my local Jiffy Lube instead which got everything done in less than 40 min. If you go here, dont plan on leaving your car expecting it to be worked on.. because it wont unless you wait around in person for it. read more

This is hands down the best auto repair shop I have ever been to- and I have been to quite a few! Chuck was unbelievably kind, honest, and knowledgeable. He immediately identified the issue with my passenger side door (which wasn't opening from the interior) and found a quick solution that other body shops had not. I could tell that the C&C team truly care about their customers, sharing their wealth of knowledge accumulated over the span of C&C's 40+ years in business in a down-to-earth manner. I have recommended C&C to my friends and family and will absolutely be back if I need any future repairs. read more

Not sure what's up with the review from the previous guy my experience is totally different. Being mechanically proficient myself I know when mechanics are blowing smoke and these guys knew cars and were honest and trustworthy. Prices were very reasonable and much better than having it done at a dealership. They always called when they said they would (which has always been hit and miss for me at dealerships) and being a small family owned business gave real personal attention which is very very nice (again, compared to the dealer...). In fact, I bet if Iy d (or however you pronounce that...) took the car back to C & C rather than the VW dealer, they probably would have fixed it all up for free, squirrel funeral included. That's just a plain silly move in my opinion. If you bought a faulty computer from Best Buy, would you then take it to Walmart and pay to get it fixed? Hell no you'd go back to Best Buy and tell'em to fix it or get you a new one. Probably karma, squirrel killer! Sadly, imparting common sense isn't included with the mechanic work. Chris and Kenny were great. When they drop you off at your work you get a chance to show/tell them what the problems are and so they can relay that to the mechanics doing the work. At every other repair shop I've ever been to, that opportunity has never presented itself. You tell the service rep what your problem is and they have to guess and interpret for the mechanics. I highly recommend these guys and I am making these guys my go to mechanics in the area. read more

LOVE C & C auto repair!!! It is always the first place I take my car when there is problems. Everyone who works here is fantastic and always take great care of my car!!! They are very genuine and unlike other car places I have been to, here I never feel like I am getting ripped off. I couldn't recommend this place enough!!!! read more

Wow, don't know what on earth happened to the 1 stars, but this is the best company we've ever used in the 30 years in N.VA. Took a car in to the place we usually used. As always, it was going to cost $1,000-$1,200. Got tired of hearing that. Got a recommendation to C&C. They checked out the car and couldn't find any of the problems we were going to pay big bucks for. Have been going to C&C for about 3 years. We're always surprised at how little they find wrong with our cars. They've done many small things without charging. Have helped us patch together a '93 Mercedes until we decided to give up. C&C is an honest, dependable, reliable shop with awesome owners and employees. read more

A fair and decent auto mechanic - After getting taken advantage of by other local auto repair shops, I came to C&C and received the same work quoted for almost 20% less, the work was done quickly & the staff was very informative. read more

Second time I've use them and even more impressed of the first time because it just keeps getting better they are very consistent very reasonable and most of all very trustworthy! I would have no problem recommending a friend or neighbor as they are very thorough found the problem with a vehicle took care of the issue at a 10th of the cost of what was quoted to me at the dealership! read more

After getting fleeced by Lexus repeatedly I'd had enough and said to myself "there has to be someone better out there." A friend recommended C&C to me and the moment I spoke to Chuck on the phone, I knew I'd be well taken care of. Service was incredible and the job was far better than what Lexus has given me. Kenny was also very pleasant and so reasonable on pricing that I was humbled. Thank you Chuck and Kenny! You guys are AWESOME! read more

I had a problem with a sensor. The dealer wanted to disassemble half the engine to get to it. So did another local shop. C&C said no problem and saved me hundreds of dollars. What else could you ask for in an auto shop but honesty and integrity. Rare to find in a shop these days. YOU CAN TRUST THESE GUYS. read more

The only shop I go to. Trustworthy, fair prices, great staff, and good timing. Every time I drop my car off I'm told they'll get back to me in a day or 2 which is fine, but always end up calling me day of. They always give me options on repairs, what is urgent, how long I can go without getting something done, and anything else they might notice. And there's never any pressure to get something fixed which I respect and appreciate the most. I go here for something as simple as an oil change and inspection, but without a doubt would come back for anything more serious. read more

I will take my car nowhere else. They never fail to take care of my automotive needs without taking me through the wringer like other shops in the area. Friendly service and awesome rates. read more

We have been taking our cars to C&C for decades. When we were driving older cars, Kenny was so amazing - always kept them running, never charged for anything that wasn't absolutely necessary. Now he keeps the newer ones running smoothly! Repairs are done timely and the charges are reasonable. So thankful to have a great mechanic who is trustworthy, we love C&C and all of the friendly folks there. read more

I have spent many thousands of dollars with C&C and it has all been money well spent. I've had lots of cars over the years and they have taken care of each and every one with meticulous care. I always know that when my car goes to C&C not only will it be fixed right the first time, I also know that they always back up their work. Great people, friendly service, and honest! I live in West Virginia but was working in Sterling Virginia when something went wrong with my brakes and my tire started locking up. Not being from the area I searched on the closest auto repair place to me. I called and explained the issue. My car barely made it into the parking lot and they took me right in and were able to fix the issue. They were helpful and caring to my emergency and made sure I would make the trip back home safe and sound. read more

I've used C&C at various times over the past few years for oil changes, second opinions and a few other minor things for my wife's Toyota. I've always been very pleased with the service from this place. Kenny is very friendly and goes out of his way to explain everything in great detail. Prices are very reasonable as well. That being said, the reason for 4 stars is because last time I picked it up, my wife's car smelled like cigarette smoke inside. Hopefully, C&C reads this because this is an easy fix for them... read more

Well I was in search of a Mechanic to replace my mechanic of over 20 years. However I had informed them I work nights and can only be contacted via email or text but the mechanic choose to call me. I did not know they were delaying work on my car because of his actions. Then when I told him that if he would just ask his office to text or email me I would call in and find things out he said for 98/hr labor he did not care about my car or me and used an expletive saying he did not care that no one texted or emailed me. So though the desk staff are nice this is not a place I will ever use again. Cursed me out and said my cheap car he did not car about. I guess he is there for rich people. read more

One star because I can't select none. They quoted me 4.5 hours for the Alternator installation and an additional hour for purging, disconnecting, and re-charging the a/c compressor. According to the Mitchell auto repair books, and 2 other major garages, the 4.5 hours includes the A/C work. That was a $100 hit. They charged me $350 for a Denso alternator I can get for $129. I know parts are marked up to cover warranty expenses, but that's quite the markup. I spoke to them and told them they overcharged me by about $200. They agreed to send me a gift certificate to make it right. That was almost 2 months ago and no enchilada. These guys are highway robbery. Avoid them like the plague. read more

I have been taking my personal and service vehicles to C&C for over 10 years. The owners are great guys and I trust them. Honest work every time. There's been several times where I was told it could be a expensive repair but later turned out to be something small once they looked at it. Plenty of opportunity to make a quick buck. They hire quality employees and one or two of them have had their names on my service tickets since I started going there. That says a lot. They know how to get business the right way. Honest , consistent, and reliable service. I've referred many people to C&C and not one of them has had a complaint. You guys are great, thanks for everything. Each one of these 5 stars is deserved. read more

Big Fan of C&C! Not only are the guys that work there super friendly, they are honest and will not recommend a bunch of repairs you don't need and can't afford. My co-worker referred me to C&C and I have been 100% satisfied over the 3 or 4 years I have been going there. I think they do great work, they keep my car running smoothly and they don't charge you an arm and a leg like the dealerships do. In fact I have taken my car to C&C many times to fix shoddy work done by local dealerships. If you are looking for a local auto repair shop where the people do good work, are honest and treat you with respect then go to C&C. read more
