First time at Vienna Bakery, and was very impressed with the selection and the service. I went there for bread but left with about 4 cupcakes and an iced tea. Be warned, go early. Everytime I try to visit again, there's a line out of the door or the place is packed. Always a good sign. A gem in the town of Barrington.

It's hard to have a birthday around the holidays and even harder to find a bakery that is open and able to make a cake for Jan 2. Thank you Vienna Bakery for being open on Jan 2 and making me a beautiful and DELICIOUS cake for the second year in a row!

Just had the BEST bakery experience in my life. I needed some cupcakes for someone in my office and found Vienna Bakery just off of my morning commute. They greeted me as soon as I walked in and were super helpful when I told them what I needed. Not only was staff knowledgeable about their own product, but they were friendly and courteous, too. I was also able to grab a delicious cup of coffee and the total price for all of my purchases was shockingly reasonable. I can't wait to deliver these cupcakes!

Thank you to the team at Vienna Bakery for making such a beautiful and delicious cake! Everything about it was perfect!

Pizza tray with holes in it, was very messy looked like it fell off on the ground and with mishmashes pieces

Just bought a pizza tray, had holes in it and it looked like it fell off on the floor and was put back in the box

This is a Bismarck. Sinful!

The Balasco family has been there since before any of us were alive. Obviously, they are doing something right! Joseph used to let my grandparents and the others from the neighborhood cook our holiday turkeys in his bread oven. They have the best bread I have ever had. My brother's favorite is Sicilian and mine is the twin loaf. Italian bread sells out if you don't get there early. My favorite thing in the bakery since I was two years old are pretzel donuts. They are sugary sweet and melt in your mouth. I've never seen them anywhere else but Vienna. Bismarcks are to die for with cream and raspberry preserves. I buy them for friends as thank you gifts and they are always well received. I also buy zeppoles for Saint Joseph's day and bring them to all my family and friends. Pepper biscuits, hermits, pizza, bow ties, eckles cakes, palamers, Danish. All are very good. I buy hard crust rolls there every week for eggplant parm and meatball sandwiches and such. I read a review talking about pastiche on the hill. I'd put vienna's chocolate mousse cake against anything they've got and at half the price, maybe a third the price. I am an Italian from town and Vienna is as good as it gets for Italian bread, sheet pizza and sweets.

Beautiful pastries but not so tasty. I miss the crispness of mille-feuilles

The only thing I would suggest getting here are the dinner rolls. Everything else is way below average. Try Pastiche in Providence.

We had a reservation for 5pm.. we arrived around 440.. to find out we couldn't sit in the "restaurant side" meanwhile there were vacant tables. We asked politely if we could just stay in that room considering it was our first time there, we were clearly for our res and didn't plan staying too long (just a quick early dinner) .. we were told no and next time to "request" that room.. oh well.. so we sat in the "cafe".. definitely not the vibe we wanted for our dinner but we still had high hopes.. it was awkward- people in and out.. standing around us getting coffee/pastries etc while we are "having dinner" however, our waitress was great, very polite, knowledgeable about their menu.. the food wasn't anything special but it was delicious!! I really wanted to LOVE this place so I will be coming back to give it another shot!

The restaurant is very small, so definitely recommend making reservations especially for dinner. Food was extremely fresh and portions were big! Loved how they had olive oil, red pepper flakes and Parmesan cheese set up at the table. Will definitely be back here soon!
