Spinach calzone with pepperoni and cheese
    Matt M.

Stopped at the Admiral St. Location for a spinach pie with cheese and pepperoni. Average size and Average taste with an above average price, $10 using a credit card. I get it, but I don't think there is any value for paying more when there are so many local bakeries around. Price seems high to me, but than again, I'm old enough to remember 5 cent pizza strips! So, final thought, products are always consistent and tasty; never had anything bad from their. If the price doesn't scare you, wirth a visit.

Lasalle Bakery has my favorite iced chai. It's delicious. Great bakery with consistently good service. There's lots of pastries, breads, sandwiches, and cakes. There's seating inside and in the warmer weather there are also some outside tables. This location also has a good-sized parking lot.

Great selection. Purchased a carrot cake cupcake, fruit tart, and croissant which were all very tasty. The reason I give 3 instead of 5 stars is because the cost for 3 items was $20 which is pretty pricey. The people behind the counter couldn't for sure tell me what was in the carrot cake when I asked if there were raisins in it... seems like they should know that information.

My go-to for cakes, cupcakes, calzones, danishes, tiramisu, and other pastries. Lasalle is spacious, clean, and well organized. The staff is fast and friendly.

Driving through the area I caught the sign for LaSalle Bakery. Since we have been meaning to give them a try, we stopped in. After all it was St. Joseph's day and we hadn't had a zeppole yet. We went for a regular, chocolate, and Irish cream flavor. Also picking up a couple of other treats before we left. The regular zeppole was really good, the chocolate was okay, and the Irish cream was not my favorite. We also got a peanut butter M&M cookie that got tossed as it was not very good either. I would consider coming back, but likely stick to the basics, as it seems that their baked goods seem like they can be a bit hit or miss. Their prices are also a bit higher than other bakeries. So it might be a while before I give them another try.

Great bakery with some really yummy treats! It was pretty busy when we got here today, but the line moved really fast. The Traditional Zeppole's were delicious! I also enjoyed the Chocolate Chip Cannoli very much too!! The peanut butter m&m cookie wasn't great which really surprised me but everything else made up for it!

    Great sandwiches, breads, and desserts!

I really like this place! First of all, everything is fresh and delicious. The breads and desserts make amazing eye candy. Yummy sandwiches and drinks are also available. The service is a perfect combination of modern and traditional. I stopped in this morning to get a treat for someone on my way to work. My time in and out was 13 minutes so definitely something to plan for. However this isn't an issue because they have mobile ordering on their own app. How amazing is that?! I'll definitely try that out. Here's my favorite part though... If you're not in a rush or feeling particularly introverted, their customer service will really make your day. They serve each customer in a personal way. While they try to get everyone served in good time, they don't rush you. The young man who waited on me deserves all the praise! He was so friendly and welcoming. He asked me if the dessert I was buying was a gift. I responded that it was. He wrapped it up in a sweet bow! It not only made me feel good, it it made a wonderful presentation for my friend and made their day also! That personal connection is often lost these days, but they have it here. (While also taking care of those in a rush or feeling introverted.) I need to come back more often!

I love this LaSalle just as much as the other location. Workers here are friendly and helpful. There is not much difference between the two locations--really depends on what's convenient for you. LaSalle's bakery is a staple in my life...yes, I said it. But come on...they have my absolute favorite cheese danish and the best muffins that'll beat out the chemical taste of any chain. I recently tried their raspberry bar and was not disappointed. In fact, I have tried probably everything in that case and it's all been delicious. My biggest downer for LaSalle is their prices. It's a little much. When I'm buying for a crowd I can't go here but it's okay to pick up a treat for myself every so often.

I had been wanting to try this place for the longest but since it is a cute little truck that travels around the state, I hadn't had the opportunity to organically come across it - until this moment. Although a lot of their drink options sounded delicious, I went with the iced Maria Maria. I got the opportunity to chat a bit with one of the Marias and she was very kind, along with the other two team members. The prices are average, with my drink coming out to about $6. One disclaimer is that I don't drink coffee much, so I can't speak about the quality of the coffee taste but overall I loved the drink, mostly because it wasn't too strong or sweet but did have a very creamy taste. In addition, they do add a Maria cookie, which is very nostalgic for me. Although the line was very long, they were very efficient with just 3 people and do get our orders at a timely manner. I am looking forward to the next time I see them again to try more of their stuff. They do post their schedule of where they will be on their instagram page at the start of each week.

They post their schedule for the week on instagram on Mondays. I visited the mobile horse trailer or cart on Tuesday, 8/12/25, at Miriam Hospital on the corner of 7th Ave and Summit Ave in Providence, RI. There is street parking available. At 6:30am, they helped their first customer. I was probably about tenth in line. I ordered the coco-quipe latte from their summer menu. This late is infused with rich arequipe and creamy coconut. It is blended with 2% milk (they didn't have whole milk) and crowned with a fluffy vanilla cold foam and a sprinkle of shredded coconut. Unfortunately, I was expecting the arequipe and coconut flavors to be stronger and I do not think I got shredded coconut on top of it. As I drank more of the latte, it did taste better. The staff members were very friendly and talking to all the customers. It didn't take long for my drink to be ready. I'm glad I had the opportunity to try Maria Maria Coffee Bar.

I love the avocado toast here because it's always flavorful and reasonably priced at $6 for 2 slices. My drink came to $9 and became the most expensive small latte I've ever paid for. I also ordered one of their Cowboy cookies and regret not buying another. They want you to read here, but there's only seating in the bar area, which is pitch black except for an ugly neon blue sign. So I don't know how one could do that without straining their eyesight. I'm not a drinker, so I can't tell you about the bar, but the selection of books was sad and clearly curated for a very particular audience. Which is fine if you're boring. I'm boring. I like the occasional high brow literary BS. But I also like to see things explode and for there to be monsters. None of that here because RiffRaff is too cool, apparently. Book prices seemed reasonable, but nothing was interesting to me. Also, it was too hot in there and they were playing some awful nonsense bass music that was just thumping and made everyone talk too loud. I probably won't come back here unless I'm meeting up with someone. RiffRaff would do so much better with real lights and an open concept vibe and more books. The first time I came, it was a rainy weekday and this time it was a sunny weekend, so I was expecting an even larger crowd; and my prediction was correct. While we waited in line, we could watch them making pastries through the glass, a couple feet in front of us. I admired that level of transparency. When we were third in line, the kindest lady asked us whether we'd be eating in or taking out and she took down our name to help us find a table when it came time. She did the same for the rest of the people in line. She also gave us some recommendations, including the cinnamon bun - apparently they're so good kids cry when they sell out. I didn't intend to order anything with my drink, but I couldn't get the cinnamon bun out of my head so I ordered it along with my iced spiced chai latte. The hen (I think it's their logo) on the aprons of the employees are super cute. We did secure a table. The tables are close together to maximize the number of people who can sit down but I didn't mind. I love their art all around, mostly of birds which I am obsessed with. I love that they have a lot of natural lighting coming through their tall windows. I also like the navy blue and white theme they have going on. The chai latte was perfect. It was the right color (a dark tan), meaning the ratio of tea and milk was good and I could taste a lot of the spices. The cinnamon bun blew my expectations away. The second my teeth made. contact with the icing, it was a magical feeling. I couldn't quite put my finger on what it tasted like, but the closest I got was dulce de leche. It is truly unlike any other cinnamon bun I have ever had. The dough is soft and there is a good amount of cinnamon. It's also $4 which is not bad. I had a bite of their canelé, which apparently requires a lot of work to make. It was very moist, with a great caramelized finish.
